      This is in response to your BBB inquiry.  Afni appreciates the opportunity to respond
      to the consumer’s concerns.  On November
      21, 2022, ****** forwarded the subject account, ****** account #:  *********, Afni, Inc. account #:  *********-01, with Afni for collections on
      the balance of $668.72.
      The account is for services established on February 18, 2020,
      until ****** considered the account delinquent on September 20, 2021.  The billing address associated with the
      account is **** ****** **** ****** ******** ** *****.  Afni mailed the initial notice of the account
      on or about November 24, 2022.  On January
      8, 2023, Afni furnished the credit reporting agencies with notice of the
      account. On July 17, 2023, Afni received a dispute from the credit reporting agencies,
      reviewed all relevant information, and responded appropriately.
      On July 17, 2023, Afni received this complaint.  This was Afni’s first contact with the
      consumer.  In response, Afni ceased
      communication and initiated an investigation. 
      Afni has attached copies of the account billing statements to this
      response; these are provided as validation of the account.  To address the consumer’s concerns, the
      subject account has not been purchased by Afni. 
      Afni received the account from ****** and acts as an agent on behalf of ******;
      therefore, the consumer would not have a contract with Afni.  Additionally, when a consumer submits a
      dispute through the credit reporting agencies, Afni responds directly to the
      credit reporting agencies. Furthermore, a signed contract is not always
      required to initiate ****** services, as orders for services can be taken over
      the phone or via the internet, which are considered verbal and electronic
      signatures, respectively.  Afni will send
      a request to the credit reporting agencies to remove the account from the
      consumer’s credit report.  Please be
      aware that it can take the credit reporting agencies anywhere from 0 to 60 days
      to update consumer credit reports.  Afni
      has no control over how quickly the credit reporting agencies update consumer
      credit reports.  However, this does not

      This is in response to your BBB inquiry.  Afni appreciates the opportunity to respond
      to the consumer’s concerns.  On February
      22, 2023, **** forwarded the subject account, **** ******* account
      #:  *********, Afni, Inc. account #: *********-01,
      with Afni for collections on the balance of $331.12.
      The account is for services established on September 1, 2020,
      until **** considered the account delinquent on June 11, 2021.  The service address associated with the
      account is *** ***** ********* ***** **** ** *****, with final billing going to
      **** **** ***** ******* ***** **** ** *****. 
      Afni mailed the initial notice of the account on or about February 24,
      2023.  On April 16, 2023, Afni furnished
      the credit reporting agencies with notice of the account.  On July 17, 2023, Afni received a dispute
      from the credit reporting agencies, reviewed all relevant information, and
      responded appropriately.
      On July 17, 2023, Afni received this complaint. This was
      Afni’s first contact with the consumer.  In response, Afni ceased communication and
      initiated an investigation.  Afni has
      attached copies of the account billing statements to this response; these are

      15, 2021, ******* forwarded the subject account, ******* account #:  ****************, Afni, Inc. account #:  *********-01, with Afni for collections on
      the balance of $284.01. Please note that this is for bundled services and all
      equipment charges are not included in the balance Afni is collecting upon.
      The account is for services established on October 1, 2018,
      until ******* considered the account delinquent on October 13, 2018.  The service address associated with the
      account is **** ** ***** ***** ****** ******** ** *****.  Afni mailed the initial notice of the account
      on or about February 28, 2021.  On April
      18, 2021, Afni furnished the credit reporting agencies with notice of the

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is conditionally satisfactory to me. While afni,Inc has reluctantly agreed to stop reporting the erroneous credit information,  they are implying that I still owe this debt. First,  I noticed that the address attached to the involved account is incorrect. I have never lived at *** ***** ****** ******* ** *****. So, any correspondence between afni, Inc. and ******** which served to verify the involved account is in violation of my rights and has caused undue hardships on my life. As far as asserting that the ******** bureau can take up to 60 days to correct my consumer credit file, shows your disregard for your actions in violating my rights and causing undue hardships to my life. Therefore,  I am requesting that the involved account be permanently deleted from my credit file immediately and any other attempts by you through other means such as selling or transferring the involved account to another collection agency cease and desist. Thank you

      aware that it can take the credit reporting agencies anywhere from 0 to 60 days
      to update consumer credit reports.  Afni
      has no control over how quickly the credit reporting agencies update consumer
      credit reports.  However, this does not
      mean that the account is not due and owing, simply that Afni will no longer

      This is in response to your BBB inquiry.  Afni appreciates the opportunity to respond
      to the consumer’s concerns.  On December
      23, 2021, ****** forwarded the subject account, ****** account #:  *********, Afni, Inc. account #:  *********-01, with Afni for collections on
      the balance of $1,993.30.
      The account is for services established on July 9, 2015,
      until ****** considered the account delinquent on September 20, 2019.  The billing address associated with the
      account is *** ***** ***** ****** ********* *** ****** ******* ** *****, which
      is the same address the consumer listed on this complaint.  Afni mailed the initial notice of the account
      on or about December 30, 2021.  On February
      13, 2022, Afni furnished the credit reporting agencies with notice of the
      account.  On March 17, 2022, the consumer
      spoke with an Afni representative and stated they were going to reach out to
      ******.
      On July 6, 2023, Afni received this complaint.  In response, Afni ceased communication and
      initiated an investigation.  Afni has
      attached copies of the account billing statements to this response; these are
      provided as validation of the account.  To
      address the consumer’s concerns, the subject account has not been purchased by
      Afni.  Afni received the account from ******
      and acts as an agent on behalf of ******; therefore, the consumer would not
