  Warning: Country won't pay for hail damage. We've been with the company 50+ years and just switched. Why? Because the first time we made a homeowner's claim for hail damage, it was denied. The adjuster was rude and uncooperative. Every house in the neighborhood who filed a claim with other insurance companies was given a settlement, but not those with Country Companies.

  Country Financial may be one of the most deceptive insurance companies out there. They ended up taking $21,000 from us. DO NOT trust this company. These are criminals disguised as an insurance company.

  I was sitting in stopped traffic, and was rear ended by a driver that was insured by Country Mutual Insurance ( a subsidiary of Country Financial), who was then rear ended by another driver. Country Mutual has been extremely difficult in the process of getting my car repaired, even though I was 100% not at fault. It will be 54 days from the date of accident until my car is able to be put in the shop for repairs. I have also been informed that Country Mutual will only be paying for a medium sedan sized car rental while my auto is in the shop, regardless of the fact that my vehicle holds 7 passengers and is routinely used for that. It is mind blowing to me that not only has this company had very little regards for the amount of time that my vehicle has been damaged, they now are refusing to supply me with a comparable vehicle to the one I drive daily. I can not imagine what my situation would have been if the damage to my car was worse, or it was un-drivable. I would highly recommend researching a different insurance carrier, if you happen across this review while gathering information on auto insurance carriers.

  STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!
  Country Financial has caused our family extreme stress and financial burden. Our home was burglarized not long before Covid hit and shut the world down. We provided lists of missing contents, photos, police reports, receipts for what we could find; all prior to their deadline for receiving replacement value. Approximate values were then requested, things an adjuster should have been responsible for finding, which we then created & returned - now past the deadline. A disrespectfully low check was issued and we were not given replacement value for anything.
  In the burglary, our solid wood door was kicked (axed?) in half. Replacement requires customization due to the slope of the home - this repair was valued by their adjuster so low that local contractors laughed at our check. I reached back out to Country in desperation, saying that it was no where near enough, the call ending in tears. After hours of back & forth, they required I get a local contractor to send over a quote (more leg work their adjuster should have done, when I don't live local, and during COVID nonetheless!) I finally found a contractor to come out & they quoted the door and labor $3600, THEY DEPRECIATED THE DOOR TO $500.
  The check we got for the whole burglary (vandalism, stolen jewelry, generator, garage tools/lawn equipment, heirlooms, antique home furnishings, vintage collectibles) isn't even enough to replace the front door. I am sick to my stomach. My family paid into this company over 20 years and only had 1 other claim on the roof after a hail storm - and that experience was a nightmare as well.
  I have never thought a company so deserving of going under. These people have no souls and their only concern is profit. If you value your home and property, I beg you to please choose literally ANY other company.

  I bought a new car July 20,2022 I was quoted $301 for 3 vehicles I got a notes with email that stated I will owe $506 this month. Went to talk to my company they still won't me to pay the $506 and with me having full coverage on one vehicle. That I don't get towing or rental car without paying extra.I need help.

  I was hit by one of their insured. After filing a claim with their insurance, the person was extremely rude claiming that their insurer did not hit me. The woman was unprofessional and there is was no merit behind the denial. Their insurer lied that he did not hit me. This insurance company truly is low quality. I would not recommend.
