      Company refused to cover my rental car beyond 24 days (current policy) despite the unprecedented circumstances of a parts shortage. They also refused to total car, but could not prove the numerical calculations they used to determine that the car (waiting on a part 6+ months & counting) was not worth being declared totaled.
      The purpose of insurance is to cover costs in the event of a large financial expense, but State Farm proved the obvious in that they are more concerned about boosting their financial gains than they are actually caring for a customer who has paid into them (incident free) for 17 years. The fact that they refused to share the numbers and appraisals used determine that the car was not a total loss demonstrates shady business practices and a desire to withhold information from the consumer.

      After being a loyal customer for 8 years, I was very disappointed in my experience with my agent. I was in an accident where a drunk driver ran a stop sign and totaled can’t new car. I was without a car for 3 months until I finally received a settlement. I had to argue for weeks until I received a fair settlement for what my car was actually worth in the current market. I had spoken with about ten agents throughout this time to see why it was taking so long because I needed a car for work and personal life. My rental had expired after a month, so I had to drive my parents car while I waited. After this waiting period it took me a few months to find a perfect match in this current market, while I was searching I had called my agent to ask for quotes for different cars. When I found the car I was purchasing I called and was told my policy was cancelled 4 days prior and I had to set up a new one. Which would triple my previous rate and remove my discounts. I had no notice of this cancellation date and they had multiple times to tell me of this potential change. Even though I had been insured with then my entire driving life, as well as my whole family they would not make an exception. I feel as if I Waited so long, talked to too many agents, had lack of communication, unnecessary stress and burden. My parents rate also increased by 30%. And then they cancelled my policy without notice. Very dissatisfied and disappointed in this entire experience, now I have to wait a few more months for a refund of my deductible…

      19 % auto premium rate increase. Agent was unable to explain the rate increase. Attempted many times thru the day to get someone on the phone at the *********** ** office to explain this to me but there is no direct contact with anyone from the cooperate level. I will not waste my agent's time as he was not involved with the rate increase. this is a slap in the face when you get no advance written explanation to why the rate is higher. Many years ago when the insurance industry created the Hurricane deductible there was a letter sent explaining the change, but nothing from State Farm on this increase, open your statement and surprise here is your 19% increase.

      I would not recommend them! I filed a claim 2 months ago on my roof, and I have a roofer working with me . They put a tarp on my roof which I had to pay out of pocket $300 because have interior damage too. The claim was $14 over the deductible, The roofer tried to repair the roof and he said it was repairable. Reopened the claim , they sent a 3rd party to inspect the roof and the roofer was there to talk to him , he took a 3 foot sample shingle to be inspected, And my new claim is $1300 above my deductible which I am furious, I have been with them for like 6 years of paying my car and auto insurance. My broker hasn't even gave me a call if I am satisfied. He has no problem collecting my premiums every month. .What is the point of having insurance when you are paying more than half. I just renewed my insurance and I can't wait to February next year gives me time to shop around for another insurance company. I unsatisfied customer Cyrus ** *******

      After my car was totaled, I was waiting to get my check from my car. They sent me some paperwork to fill out, to release my car and get my money back after they take the car. I filled out everything that was sent to me. After a few weeks where my money never came I reached out to them and they informed me that they forgot to send me a "power of attorney" for me to fill out. So they sent me that, I filled it out and sent it right back. After another week went by I reached out to them again to find out that they received my paperwork but they had accidently put the wrong year of my car on the paperwork, but decided not to reach out to me and just let me wait... So they then sent me out another one, which I promptly sent back.. About another week went by and I reached out again since I had still not received my funds. This time they had it, but still had not sent out the money. The lady who answered this time sent the money over after I called her. The car accident was at the end of April, The documents were sent to me on June 23rd and I should be receiving my funds today, July 13th....

      State Farm is a horrible insurance company and a fraud . They get your money , but when you have a claim , they refuse to pay . DO NOT USE THEM !

      State farm is not about customers satisfaction, they **** as a company, and all of their agents ****, we've been going back and forth for 6 months to do a claim on our house and its Still not done! DO NOT USE STATE FARM!
