      State Farm dropped the ball on their so called coverage. Started a claim, for a vehicle. Called the next day and they stated the vehicle was in their possession. Had a friend drive by the location of pick up; vehicle still there. Called State Farm, they said they will get it. 7 days later, I get a certified letter that the vehicle has been impounded. Next step, get State Farm to take accountability and pick up the vehicle. They agree. Now it’s been 16 days since the incident, and State Farm is telling me I have to do their job. Get the car from impound and to the body shop. What is the point of insurance when they cannot insure anything. Accountability is as rare as common sense these days. Livid.

      Have had a homeowners policy since 2004. On 7/3/22 reported fire damage & loss. 7/26/22 still no check. Very disappointed in this snail pace service. Black soot everywhere and dragging it in the house. My place looks like a disaster zone.

      State Farm used to be one of the best. Now that just seems like bait and switch. They are now one of the worst! They wouldn’t pay for most of my claim and their approved body shop did terrible work that took more than a month and after doing repairs s broke something off in the engine that landed the car at the dealership broken down! State Farm wouldn’t do anything about any of it!
      Every part of the process was one of State Farm trying to weasel out of paying part of the claim. Do your self a favor and get insurance anywhere else (for less probably!)
      State Farm is about nothing but themselves and is quite good at sending you somewhere to get sub par work that they do not guarantee!
      Sign up with State Farm at your own peril and pocket book. Best to hire a lawyer when you get a claim. To protect you from your own insurance. Make no mistake State Farm is not your friend. You pay them to be your enemy.

      State Farm could not give a straight answer as to why an adjuster was not sent out to see my vehicle at the body shop. When I originally reported my claim I tried calling to talk to someone and the automated system says they are having a high call volume to better assist me I needed to go to the app or website and file my claim. The app does a photo estimate, which is definitely not accurate because how can they see underneath everything and what's really going on with the vehicle. There was alot more damage that what the photo estimate stated. So the body shop had to do supplements and upload to app. The supplements were uploaded but for some reason they were having problems viewing them and the only reason why I figured that out is because I had to call and find out. Nobody from the claims department said anything about it or made any calls to me or anyone on the policy. My niece is on the same policy and her vehicle was damaged a week after mine and her vehicle went to the same shop my car was already at. So when the adjuster came out to see my nieces vehicle, the body shop informed the adjuster that another vehicle was there from the same policy and the adjuster told him he was only there to see my nieces vehicle and that the body shop needed to call and request an adjuster to come out to look at the other vehicle. So why didn't that adjuster just do it or at least call it in for them. That made no sense to me at all. It took 2 months to get my car back and $817.93 out of my own pocket for a rental. Yes they did cover $600 but I had to pay an additional $817.93 because I needed a car to get to all 3 of my patients house every day. All this could of been prevented if they would of sent the adjuster out in the 1st place and got the estimate done the right way. None of this was my fault and I still had to pay over 800 out of my pocket. Now do u really think that is fair? And why can't they answer my question as to why no one was sent out to estimate my car.

      They will purposely delay getting paperwork done so that extra fees get added to your bill. We have had this issue through several vehicle sells and new purchases when we've gone to switch what is getting covered and then they have continued to charge us for vehicles even after we have called to have them removed and we had already sold them to someone else. They then say that it's already been done and they can't fix it. The lady named Jodie repeatedly told me they aren't a retail store! Very untrustworthy!

      My wife and I have been loyal State Farm policy holders for over 40 years, and have many policies (including multiple homeowner policies, multiple vehicle policies, commercial policies, etc.). State Farm used to be a reputable company but their claims service is disgraceful now! Just tried to file a claim on a shattered sunroof (so the rain wouldn't leak in and cause even MORE damage), and the adjuster could not even LOOK at the damage for over a week! My wife is scheduled for major back surgery in a week so we would not even be able to use her car during the recovery. Very sad indeed ... we will end up paying out of pocket for the repairs and then changing insurance companies.

      State Farm is terrible! They could care less for their customers! The agents are nasty and rude. I wish I would've changed companies sooner. Stay away from State Farm!

      My vehicle was involved in an accident 6/14/2022! StateFarm waited 3 weeks to have an adjuster come out to check the vehicle, the body shop started working on the car then stopped because of this. They were waiting for the estimate to be approved that they sent weeks before. Nonetheless StateFarm told me that they were understaffed but meanwhile my car isn't finished and they're going back and forth with the body shop about the estimate. Meanwhile I'm paying out of pocket for my rental. This is ridiculous. I pay my insurance every month and have been a valuable customer for years. All StateFarm tells me is "we're working on it, we're understaffed and still working from home.
