1 starFor Christmas December 2023, My husband purchased an Ulta Card at the Stop and Shop Food Store in ********* ******** to give as a gift. Unfortunately, he misplaced the card but has the receipt. He went with the receipt to Stop and Shop to get the card cancelled. They said we have to call Ulta for that problem to be resolved - it was out of their hands. We then called Ulta, and give them the details and receipt information of the card - and they transfer him around to many different departments to ultimately tell him that IT IS OUT OF THEIR HANDS- to go the the Stop Shop and handle it with them. In essence we are out of 100$ because no one is helping to cancel that card and give us a new one. I dont believe its fair.Thank You *** and ***********************ULTA Beauty

1 starI booked an appointment with ******* at 10 AM (didnt leave until 8:30 PM) for a balayage. She did a terrible job. My hair is brassy and still brown in the back. The first picture is what I asked for and the second is what I got. She had NO IDEA what she was doing. Told me her manager made her give me a full highlight instead of a balayage but those are literally the same thing besides what sweeping method she uses. Parts of my hair are missing because she had to process my hair twice. I spent over 10 hours in the salon and still did not receive what I wanted. The manager gave me a 10% discount and told me my next service was free. Went back this morning and got a full refund because NO ONE in that salon is touching my head again. She literally played in my head for over 10 hours like I was some kind of ****** instead of just saying she had no idea how to do what I wanted. DO NOT BOOK ******* EVER. Shes a light skinned woman with a silk press and glasses in case you decide to do a walk in. Avoid her at all cost. She also told me her husband was fired from his job for speaking sexual to a 15 year old girl but she knew it was a lie. And said her last job fired her because she had to leave and go to her kids school. Apparently they took a pizza cutter from home and threatened to kill some girls on the bus with it. I mean these were the conversations she was making during my service. Who tells people stuff like that?ULTA Beauty

1 starUlta customer service is horrific. They sent me the wrong product 4 times. They refused to resend the correct product with the fastest shipping. When I called and finally got them to agree to send with the fastest shipping, they never put the order through. When I called back they acted like I'd never called. When I asked to speak to a supervisor they were suddenly able to resend with the fastest shipping, but they sent me the wrong product again. When I asked to speak to a supervisor they deliberately called me back outside of the available times I had provided. They were never able to confirm why I was sent the wrong product 4 times. They deliberately avoid answering your requests. When eventually I gave up (which is what they count on) and agreed to a refund, they gave me a gift card for less than the refund value rather than a refund to my original payment method. And through all this, they asked me to spend more of my own time to send the incorrect products back - why am I spending my own time and energy to fix their mistakes? I was a platinum member with their credit card - I will now avoid ordering from them and will warn all of my friends and family to do the same. This is not the first time I've dealt with this poor management. Last year, I had also received someone else's order - with their private address information. Horrible customer service.ULTA Beauty

1 starOnly reason I'm even comfortable giving them the one star is because if you go in-store you're far less likely to get disappointed but if you're trying to do anything online, forget it. I have been trying all week to place on online order and their failure of a website won't allow for checkout no matter what you do. I have tried a credit card, I have tried a debit card, I have tried a gift card, I have tried checking out with PayPal linked to my bank- I have tried checking out while logged in, while logged out of my account, on a desktop, on a mobile browser and through the app. And every. Single. Time. It gives some asinine "we can not validate your payment" prompt. And the only thing more infuriating than not being able to order anything is trying to call in to their worthless customer service line where it is near impossible to speak to someone you can even understand let alone make any progress with. All you will be told is " we are escalating your complaint and will be in contact" knowing **** well nothing is actually going to be done because you can call in several times a day for days on end and still never see a resolution nor does anyone even bother reaching back out with the update they promised they give you.ULTA Beauty

1 starWhere do I begin? After a 42 response email chain, numerous phone calls and no results I am at a loss on when I will ever be able to access my account after being hacked back in SEPTEMBER. I AM SICK of never getting anywhere and being on the phone for hours and being told "this issue has to be escalated" and never hearing from whom my issue has been escalated to. Or being told "we care about you and know this must be frustrating", quick filling my ears with c*** and actually solve the issue. Account was completely hacked and taken over, changed all my information, to now not existing, yet to it somehow existing but only to those who hacked it, locking me out of a DIAMOND account that has taken years and so much money to get towards. Where is the help? What kind of loyalty does Ulta even care about because I am sick of this business playing games and never fixing the solution to customers who have been nothing but loyal to them. I hate getting to this point but to face all these emails and no solution is the most gut wrenching feeling. Not receiving any help what so ever. I just want my account back, to be back at my diamond status and not deal with this issue anymore as it has been 5 months with no results. The fact the accounts are this easy to be hacked is a massive issue and the fact it's taken this long with no light at the end of the tunnel is even more upsetting.ULTA Beauty

1 starHorrible service. I bought a products that hold a value of 278 dollars online. I waited for the package to come to my property. Nothing arrived. My security cameras didn't pick up any delivery and i checked in with everyone who lived in a close radius of my property, no package. I filed a police report and claim through the carrier. After I contacted ulta and they simply said " we can't refund you or re deliver , sorry." As if they didn't have enough money or products to spare. Disgusting. This is theft and going against my consumers rights as a fraudulent transaction.ULTA Beauty

1 starUlta guest services is an actual joke. None of them can understand you let alone help you and when they cant resolve the is*** what do they do? Ignore. Every. Email. I have so many screenshots of them being blatantly useless and not offering any type of resolve for an is*** ONLY THEY can fix. Id highly recommend quite literally ANYWHERE to buy make up than from Ulta. The saddest part is Im a platinum member which is I guess just useless because despite the thousands Ive spent there, not one person can figure out this is***? Does it take 4 months for them to actually fix what should be less than an hour problems???? How are they in business, insanely high prices no price match HORSE C*** customer service and 4 month turnover rate for is***s? ******************** Hopeful to use all my screenshots to *** for emotional distress.ULTA Beauty

1 starI got a $300+ order containing gifts for other people and paid for expedited shipping to ensure they would be here on time. The order still doesn't even show as having been picked up, it's well past the delivery date, and nobody I talk to seems to care one bit to even try to figure out what went wrong. I got told Thursday to contact back Friday. Then I got told Friday call back Saturday. Now they're telling me I can't be helped until MONDAY. This is beyond ridiculous and I don't know what else to do at this point because they're happy to take my money and just not get me what I ordered.ULTA Beauty

1 starI have turned a blind eye to Ulta for years, and Im a pretty consistent *************** but Im done. Their customer service is nonexistent and their warehouse mishandles packages horribly, to the point that all the powders I buy are almost always destroyed when I get them. My last purchase was received December 21, damaged and with items missing from the box that I had paid for. I have emailed them 3 times in the 15 days since, even after giving them ***** for the hecticness of Christmas. And I have yet to receive a response. I guess Im buying drugstore or splurging on Sephora now.ULTA Beauty
