      *** Harris Bank, N.A./Bank of the West has not acted as a reputable bank with us. We paid two payments ahead of the date due. These payments were not posted for the intended months. We then received bills in which no money was placed toward the principal. We contacted the business, spoke to a representative, and then requested to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor refused to correct the issue even though I had Bank records, register records, and coupon book registers to prove that we had never missed or were late on a payment. We are refinancing in order to close out our business with *** Harris Bank, N.A./Bank of the West. We will NEVER do business with this company again as they inappropriately recorded our payments and charged us incorrect finance rates. They have not presented themselves as an A+ business, nor as a reputable business.

      Terrible! Their bill pay does not always pay on time. I set payments for a certain date and they did not arrive on the guaranteed arrival date. We ended up with late fees for our credit card not once but twice! Their resolution department promised to cover the fees, but never did. They instead made excuses as to why the bill was not paid in time. Ive pulled my money from this account and will tell everyone I know about my experience.

      *** fraud department refused my case, even though in the dispute priceline even states that the hotel cancelled my reservation, not me. When I called to speak to someone in the fraud department, they were closed, of course. And the person I waited more than 30 minutes to talk to spoke broken English. Im closing my account on Monday and am filing a complaint with the state.

      Opened a *** cash back mastercard account after being spammed with there mail and credit card offers in the mail. Offered a 0% introductory APR for 12 months on BOTH purchases and balance transfers. Put $2,000 on my card shortly after opening the account ( $200 cash back reward) and realize on my statement they started charging interest from day 1.Called customer service - won't fix my account when I have the printed "summary of credit terms" right in front of me. Lying to me on the phone - "that wasn't the offered I applied for."Never been more disgusted or treated so poorly for before. For Reference: have a great credit score.

      This is the worst bank I have ever dealt with. I OVER paid a balance and have an ***** credit and they will not send me the money without going into the bank, there is not one in S ******* or by sending my drivers license NOTARIZED. I do not have access to a notary. I OVERPAID so I'm the person asking for the credit amount back. They will not accept my credit card for use and will not send me the money.Someone needs to find a lawyer and fill class action against this bank.Its rating should be lower than 1, but you have to give 1 start to participate.They are rude on the phone too.

      Bank of the West closed my accounts that my V.A. disability went into, I didn't get paid for a month because it's the government. So Bank of the West put my house in default when it was their fault they closed my account. CROOKS.

      My father was found dead in his apartment. I've been working to close his affairs and I came to handle Bank of the West (*** Harris Bank subsidiary, with the expectation that it would be no different from any other bank I'd previously worked with to settle these matters regarding my father's death and account there. I have called and been hung up on twice and then told I had that if I called the branch that they could help me close his account. I called ******'s Bank of the West, and *******, the Assistant Manager, went on to tell me the balance of my father's account, which was $3__ about, without verifying my identity or confirming I was my father's son, nor did he ask for any information other than the debit card number when providing me all of this information. This is all recorded as I live in Virginia. I was told that I would have to come in person and do it. Families can live in different states than their family and also have no resource for people like me with disabilities for support. I asked, "So there's nothing you can do," and was told "nope." I'd like to point out: 1) Releasing personal financial information about my deceased father without verifying his account, or my identity. 2) When I informed them of my geographic and disability constraints, he laughed when he replied to my question I raised above. I never once confirmed my identity, nor did I provide any information other than the debit card number. I thought the ********************************** Act (****) of **** requires financial institutions to safeguard the personal information of their customers and to provide privacy notices to customers. I also thought the **** prohibits financial institutions from disclosing nonpublic personal information about customers to third parties without the customer's consent, but I must have misread the ruling. Not to mention laughing at me not being able to settle my father's affairs.

      Financed an RV with them, they neglected to send paper work for me to be able to make first payment. So I was late on payment by the time it arrived. They made me pay a late fee because of their negligence. Fast forward to 3 years later while paying off my RV, they added interest to every extra payment I made to principal. This included the last payment. Do not do business with bank of the west it will be a headache from the start!
