      They closed my account for a $11.03 over draft. Its currently over $300 in that account and somehow the $11.03 is still showing as if I didnt pay it. I just had surgery and cant buy my pain meds because all my money is in this account. You think they care? They have no empathy for their customers! Now I have to wait **** business days to receive my money. Hopefully I dont die from complications of not being able to take medication.

      I have had an auto loan for a little over 3 years. Suddenly my online access is gone, they don't recognize my social security number, email or account # which means I cannot watch my balance. I have called over and over again and sit on hold forever before hanging up. Yesterday I finally was able to talk to a "customer service rep". I could barely hear him or understand him, and it honestly sounded as if he were sitting in a bar drinking a beer. There is no way to reach them except by phone. After reading other complaints and comments, I will be searching for somewhere to refinance my auto loan. Dealing with this company will leave you frustrated and I suggest anyone looking for an auto loan look elsewhere.

      Does anything on this bank's website work? I've had my card for a week. So far, I've sent messages that don't get answered, tried to freeze my card via their online "freeze my card" option, but then get a message that "oops, that doesn't work now, call this number" then when you call that number it's strictly for only-business-hours issues; so I guess if you have unauthorized charges after 5pm, too bad for you. I then called the number of the back of my card and was told I couldn't freeze my card over the phone (so how does one freeze their card then????) but my card could be canceled/replaced, it took so long to do (if it indeed went through, which I'm highly doubting now) that that the unauthorized charge is now showing ** in my account.The cherry on top is that, on their automated marketing emails, there is an link to send them an email. I tried that. It bounced back. Is there actually a banking company here or just some guy in his mom's basement? Most unprofessional card company I have EVER dealt with.

      Absolutely terrible service. Seriously, do not choose BMO Harris for a loan. One of the biggest mistakes I've made. Every time I call, they are extremely rude and unhelpful. They are 'unable' to tell me why they take my car loan out TWICE every month, and has not responded when I ask them to cancel my autopayment. Absolutely no help. RUN. DO NOT USE THEM.

      The first few months .y account was open, they were great. I was greeted by name when I walked in, and my email inquiries were always answered within three days. Now, I'm condescending indifference in the branch, and my emails are just plain ignored. I suffer from depression and anxiety, and they are making it ten times worse. I received a debit deposit on September 19th, 2022 at 10 AM PST. Customers from other banks received their funds immediately. Meanwhile I sat and sat. Finally, I decided to go all the way across town to the branch. The manager called some unfriendly voice( I heard her clear as day) who blamed it on Advance America, claiming they did a merchant credit and not an ACH. That was a big fat, outright lie. AA does not do Merchant credits. Its either an ACH, debit deposit, or cash. I still don't have an explanation. I wouldn't recommend this bank to S@tan.

      Want a bank that doesn't value their customers, has horrible customer service that *** never get back to you, and refuses to abide by its opening account promotion? This is the bank for you! They will find an excuse to make sure they make money off you without benefiting you. They don't stand with their promotions then when you confront them they just don't reply. Closed my account and will never go back. I'd encourage you to do the same as they blatantly do not care about their customers. They do care about making money off you and giving you a bad experience!

      My experience, in general, with Bank of the West in ************, ******** has been quite positive. Most recently *******, the asst ******** quickly solved an issue for me with genuine kindness!

      Have a car loan with BMO. Cannot make extra payments on principle. Also, do not understand how the change the interest on loan each month. one month it is $42, than $76 and the next month it is $57? They do not have an answer. It is very wrong in what they do. No one you talk to can help or have answers. I am trying to refinance with my credit union asap! Please if you read this do not work with them, you will lose money and lots of headaches.

      One of the absolute worst banks to deal with! They deserve 0 stars. They give you the run around when confronting them to fix things. They apply loan payments completely wrong and do not want to fix their mistakes what so ever! They apply extra payments to push your due date out instead of applying them to principal like requested to get more money out of the customer. There is a guy named **** that is flat out freaking rude. Stay away at all costs not worth the freaking hassle every month!!!

      Absolutely terrible customer service. I have a loan with ******************** that all of a sudden was not accessible via online account. I used to be able to view my loan on online and then one day when I tried to login in, it said "you don't have any accounts to display". I tried to call several times over the last month to get help via phone and waited in excess of an hour everytime. I finally got through to their online help line and they told me it needed to be handled by their loan department. So I was transferred there and waited for almost another hour. When they finally picked up, I was told the ************************ line would help me. Now I finally got in touch with them and they told me to go back to the LOAN DEPARTMENT!!!!!!! So I complained and asked for a manager so I could finally get some help. The woman put me on hold once. She checked back in with me to let me know it would be a few more minutes but then she just hung up on me!!!! I cannot express how frustrating it is when companies don't know their own policies and procedures and then leave their customers to handle it. Never bank with Bank of the West and I will be refinancing my loan to move somewhere else just so I never have to deal with this again.
