I am submitting this complaint regarding two accounts that have recently appeared on my credit reportsone from Discover Card and another from *****************. I am formally disputing both accounts, as I do not recognize or authorize them, and no proper documentation has been provided to confirm their legitimacy.I have filed a report with the ************************ (***) outlining these concerns, as they may involve identity theft or unauthorized reporting activity. Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), including 15 U.S.C. 1681i and 1681s-2, both furnishers and credit reporting agencies are legally required to ensure that all information reported is accurate, verified, and subject to timely investigation when disputed.Despite notifying the credit reporting agenciesExperian, Equifax, and TransUnionof my dispute, the accounts continue to be reported without resolution or supporting evidence. This ongoing failure to investigate or remove unverified information is harmful and inconsistent with the responsibilities outlined by federal law.I respectfully request the Better Business Bureau assist in obtaining a formal response and resolution from Discover Card and American Heritage. I am filing a formal complaint against ******** for its failure to conduct a lawful and reasonable investigation under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (****) following my dispute of a few inaccurate items and unauthorized inquiries on my credit report. Despite submitting detailed information and explicitly requesting documentation to verify the accuracy of the reported account, Experian returned a generic verified response without providing any supporting evidence or records from the data furnisher. This boilerplate response fails to meet the standard of a good faith investigation and reflects a systemic disregard for **** obligations. These accounts in question remains on my credit file, despite being factually inaccurate and incomplete. ******** has not produced any verifiable documentation to substantiate its continued reporting, nor has it demonstrated compliance with the legal duty to ensure the maximum possible accuracy of consumer information.The presence of this unverified and inaccurate information is causing serious harm to my personal and financial well-being. I am unable to access essential credit, facing increased costs and denials, and experiencing ongoing emotional distress as a direct result.I am demanding the immediate deletion of this unverifiable account from my credit report and written confirmation of its removal.
