Dear Better Business Bureau I am writing a complaint about the Trans Union bureau, I sent a letter on 04/23/22 stating I had some accounts and information that did not belong to me which I consider it is inappropriate activity. I also sent them some documents to prove my request.I have attempted to contact TRANS UNION so many times via phone and via mail, so they can resolve this issue as soon as possible but they have not responded to ANY of my requests. Pursuant to 15 USC **** Section 602 A states that I have a right to privacy. 15 USC **** Section 604 A Section 2 states a consumer reporting agency can not furnish an account without my written instructions. 15 Usc **** 603(d)(2)(A)(i) states transactions or experiences between a consumer and the person making the report should be excluded from a consumer report.(B) ANY authorization or approval of credit directly or indirectly by the issuer of credit card or similar device. 15 USC **** states a credit card means any card, plate, coupon book or other credit device existing for the purpose of obtaining money, property, labor, or services on credit. Due to their lack of negligence of I am being denied credit. Pursuant to 15 USC **** consumer reporting agencies should be reporting fair accurate information. I am a victim of identity- theft, I am writing to request that you block all accounts disputed as fraudulent on my credit reports with Transunion, Equifax, and Experian. This information does not relate to any transactions I have made. I did not give anyone authorization or consent to use my personal information. I hereby exercise my legal rights enacted by Congress and The ************************* which explicitly states when a victim of identity-theft dispute a fraudulent account on his/her credit report it shall be honored by all credit bureaus and all fraudulent information should be blocked within 4 days and proper notification shall be given to all data furnishers pursuant to section 605b of The Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act. On 06/05/2022 I sent TRANSUNION my first certified letter to correct the issue on my credit report as stated! TRANSUNION ignored the issue. On 06/08/2022 I summited my first complain with the ***** TRANSUNION continued to ignore the issue this time I seek legal helped and threaten TRANSUNION to fix issue under LAW they are mandated to under **** code. On 06/27/2022 I sent my second certified letter attached with litigation allegations and mentioned my attorney will pursue and go after compensation if the matter was not handled!. TODAY is 07/27/2022 and they have not fixed the issue! this is our last attempt of seeking justice! as my attempt to amicably resolve your continued violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act regarding your refusal to delete INACCURATE, Unverifiable and Invalidated information from my consumer file. Here no other person or company is involved in sending my letters to you. I am personally sending these letters. I became a victim of Identity Theft on (JULY, 2019) and after that these accounts added to my credit report which were never opened by me. I called Transunion to discuss my credit report I was asking question and asked about closing some disputes, I am told disputes don't effect my credit score, mid conversation the the call disconnected. Two days later my score dropped 61 points. I call back trying to find out what transpired on my account for my score to have dropped and I get generic answers. I ask what did the previous agent do and I am being told I need to get a credit report or I need to pay for my credit score. No verification of what was done, no clarification just rude customer service people telling me that I don't understand what they're are saying? I ask if disputes are closed does it hurt my credit score, again I'm told no. I look at my credit report and comments were added, I ask the agent what comments were added and they can't share over the phone even though I called in and the comments were added at that time, no disputes was closed comments were added. I ask why did my score drop and he's telling me about mortgage inquiries dropped my score. False, it's public knowledge that you're allowed to shop mortgage companies without any affect to your score for a certain amount of time. He then says I have high balances with usage over 30%, also false my use age is under 19% total. I tell him I am looking at a report from a mortgage company that states my score on July 21, on July 23 my score dropped, I am told that is not accurate as it isn't directly from Transunion. Makes no sense I'm sure a mortgage company is pulling my actual score. I ask to have undone what ever was done to my account I was put on hold and then hung up on. I spent the last 6 months building my credit up all for one person in a call center to ruin that and my chances of purchasing a home with no explanation or clarification as to why. There needs to be some resolve asap, this is ruining my life.Business Response
