This financial institution likes to lie and say customers committed to paying a certain amount when that was never agreed upon

Harley was mailed an overnight check by a dealership where I traded my bike in to pay it off. Ive spent hours on the phone with Harley about this and nobody can confirm that the check has been received even though it says delivered on our end. Everyone Ive spoken to has been beyond rude and Ive had one person hang up on me. Ive not had to contact anyone through Harley by phone until now, when it comes to me trading it in. They are terrible to work with, and are not helpful in the least. Rude, and horrible customer service!

I was selling my 2015 street *** financed through Harley. I sold my bike to a Harley dealership. A month later I got a call that my payment was overdue and demanded payment immediately. I told them I had sold it to a Harley dealer and they told me they didnt care. That after signing over the title and seeing a check cut for the payoff amount that I was going to be held responsible for the loan. I called the dealer and was told the check had been lost. He called Harley and overnighted them the payoff check. I thought that was the end of the matter. Three years later I missed riding and bought another Harley through Harley credit. I went to trade that bike in for a new one two years after that and all of a sudden it shows up on my credit that my last payment was over 30 days late. I no longer had possession of the bike and having signed the title over could not get it back. The dealer made good on the payoff but I am stuck with a negative account on my ********************** for 7 years. I have called Harley financial and spoke to 3 different people. They can verify the dealer had the bike and made the last payment, not me. I dont believe I should be marked late for a dealer mistake. They refuse to take this off my credit. I have had 3 Harley loans with no late payments except this one. I am very disappointed and upset with a company that penalizes me for a late payment that was clearly made by a licensed dealership. I will never use their loan service again.

Harley was sent a check from my bank for $25,000. It shows that they deposited the money and now they are saying they do not show that they received it and refuse to talk to me because the account is not in my name even though the check was in my name. This happened over a year ago and they refuse to verify receipt with my bank. The account does not show that it received the balance, and my bank can't do anything because the check is showing it was deposited. I was told any refunds would have gone back to my bank, but my bank has not received anything. Do not trust this bank.

Well, what can I say? My experience dealing with this bank after having purchased a Harley-Davidson Iron 883 in May, 2022, I have had occasion to contact them and either let them know a payment is going to be late or ask to skip a payment due to job loss. It took a while, but the customer service finally got permission to issue the forbearance, reminding me that they don't normally do this and they would only do it once. Fine. Problem is, I can give them the heads up that my bank couldn't process the payment on a day that would keep it from being made late due to holidays or the due date falling on a weekend. The day after the due date, I start getting calls, two or three a day from their collections department wanting to know when I am going to make the payment. I find the collections operations to be very, very harassing. The latest incidence was just last week. I called them to let them know they would receive their payment between 6/18 and 6/21 as I had just settled a Workers' Comp case and the check was on hold for several days. When the hold was removed, I went online and setup the payment. I talked to a collection agent at HD Finance/Eaglemark Savings Bank the following day and explained they should be receiving the payment in a day or two. I received two collection calls the very next day after talking to them. I refuse to be harassed in this way. I would advise others wishing to own a Harley-Davidson Motorcycle to seek their own financing somewhere else. HD Finance/Eaglemark Savings Bank are nothing but a bunch of bullies akin to mafia enforcers. I gave them 1 star. If I could have given them a negative ten stars, I would have.

Their website is dog c*** I have only ever used my phone to sign in to my account to be able to pay them and out of nowhere for no reason its asking me to answer security questions that I never set up so no matter what I type for the answer it says its wrong. Also their interest rates are outrageous. Above average credit score approaching 700 I put $10,000 down on a $16,000 bike plus a $2000 maintenance plan and no warranty and had a trade in that I had to spend $5000 to pay off and my total pay off amount ended up being $22,000. Never buying a Harley again. I think next time Im gonna go with an Indian or something else from a place that wont rip me off.

Our Harley was paid off Feb 13th. We were told the lien release would be recieved in approx 10 days. We called in March to find the lien release was never submitted. Once received it was incomplete, called again to have another one sent. What do you know lien release was received today with my name spelled wrong and the *** # was incorrect. Here we go waiting on a lien release once again. We sold this bike 2 months ago, buyer is becoming impatient. We are ready to trade in our other Harley for an Indian.

I would give less than a 1 star review if I could. My HDFS was for a long time, easy to use. I didn't need to call them and they didn't need to call us. Their website really ***** for understanding how much you owe, the pay off amount, etc. The payment process is lengthyso we always sent payments from our account instead.Where the issues truly came in was when we moved to a new state. We moved right as C0V1D began, and unfortunately the *** had shut down for quite some time. Once we finally were able to transfer the title, it was an absolute mess. They didn't update new names, new addresses like they were supposed to, first of all. It took 3 tries to get them to update it with their own forms. Then It took nearly 2 months to get them to send a memorandum of title/power of attorney to transfer the title to ****. We had to call multiple times and no one could say why it wasn't done, it just wasn't. When it finally was done, it was sent with the incorrect names and addresses on it. It had to be done a second time. Then when we paid it off they issued the title in the wrong state (the original one it was bought in) with our old last names and also sent it to the old address that wasn't on our account anymore. Now that we want to sell the bike, we can't because we need the lien removed from the title and it has taken multiple tries to get them to fax the form we need over to the title office. The first attempt was cancelled without telling us after they committed to getting it there by 1pm on a specific day. We drove 20 minutes to the title office to find out it wasn't sent and later got a call that they had gotten the title back as it was sent back from the old address, so they just cancelled the fax request since the title had arrived already to their offices and they could mail it (which would have taken even more time). Still TBD whether we get it faxed today after yet another call to just try to sell this bike that we already own. 10/10 DO NOT USE THEM.

Someone fraudulently attempted to charge something on my credit account on September ******. I assume it was a motorcycle. I checked my credit that morning and discovered that my account had been compromised. I called Hardly-Davidson immediately to apprise them of the fraud. They told me that they would send me some papers to complete and they would followup with an investigation. I did as instructed. I sent the papers to them as directed. After 6 weeks there was no response. I called them and they claimed they had not received the papers. So they sent me another set of papers. Again I sent them the papers. This time they claimed they had found the first set of papers and they would investigate. I called back after a month and they said that they had completed my claim and it was verified. They promised me they would remove the inquiries within 30 days. It's been almost 6 months and the inquiries are still on my credit report. I hope I never have to do business with Harley-Davidson again!!!
