      If I could leave a negative review I would. Wife orders, using the free prime membership thing to try it out. Food takes well over an hour on the first delivery to say it's being delivered. Then, driver does not even checks the address, just throws our food down on someone elses porch. We get the notification, no food, call their customer support or whatever and get told "Well, you will just need to go find what house the driver left it at". Excuse me? No refund, no nothing, just reordered. Second order takes another hour and a half. And food is cold. Worst experience ever, this "business" needs to be shut down immediately.

      A driver left my pho soup with the lid off with the soup completely spilled in the bag and spilled all over my porch. Had to argue with 3 different representatives including a supervisor to get a credit for $20. Initially just wanted to do a refund, then offered a $5 credit, then when I continued to complain they bumped it to $10, then $15, then $20 which finally covered the amount of my order should I chose to re-order in the future. What they should have offered is to send out a new order so I could eat dinner. Ridiculous customer service.

      Order Details: Order placed at 12:46 PM, estimated delivery 1:33 PM 1:48 PM, actual delivery 2:46 PM On March 18, 2025, I placed a Grubhub order at 12:46 PM for two meals made entirely of raw seafood, with a promised delivery window of 1:33 PM to 1:48 PM. What followed was an outrageous display of incompetence and deception. At 1:00 PM, the driver, Okwei, texted me claiming they had just received my order but were busy finishing another delivery first. At 1:23 PM, they confirmed picking up my food from the restaurant in ********, saying it would take 30 to 45 minutes to reach me. Then, at 1:58 PM, another text: still on the way, with a vague thank you for your patience. The food didnt arrive until 2:46 PMnearly an hour past the latest estimate and over an hour after it was picked up.Its clear the driver was juggling multiple orders, prioritizing others while my raw seafood sat festering in their car for over an hour. This isnt just a delayits a blatant food safety violation. Grubhub never warned me about this shady batch delivery nonsense when I ordered. They lured me in with a delivery promise they had no intention of keeping, leaving me with potentially spoiled seafood and zero transparency about their reckless practices. This isnt a service; its a ****** with my health.When I complained to Grubhubs so-called customer service, they had the nerve to offer a measly $15 voucherlike Id trust them with another order after this disaster. Their refusal to own up to this failure or issue a full refund is insulting. Grubhubs deceptive policies and disregard for food safety are unacceptable, and they need to be held accountable. I demand a full refund and a public admission of their batch delivery scheme so no one else gets blindsided by their gross negligence.

      I placed an order for delivery within a specific time window at my job so that it would arrive during my lunch break. Shortly after placing the order, I received a notification that the restaurant was preparing my food. However, an hour lateran entire hour after being notified that my food was being preparedthere was still no delivery.I checked the tracker, and it didnt even show a driver assigned to pick up my order. I called Grubhub customer service to report the issue, and they told me to wait another 15 minutes, assuring me the food should arrive soon. I waited an additional 30 minutes after that callby which point my lunch break was overand the food had still not been delivered. At this point, I informed them that even if the food did arrive, it would likely be cold since it had been sitting for over an hour.Initially, the agent only offered me a $5 credit on a $25 order, which was completely unacceptable. After further discussion, they finally gave me the option to cancel and receive a refund. However, by then, the tracker showed that my food was just being picked up. I explained to Grubhub that this was useless to me now since my lunch break had ended, meaning I had to go without a meal.I ended up canceling the order, only to find out that instead of refunding my payment method, they issued the refund as Grubhub creditessentially forcing me to use their service again despite this terrible experience. Otherwise, I would have to take the entire ******* WARNED: THIS IS THE WORST FOOD DELIVERY SERVICE EVER. They previously lost a class action lawsuit for this exact issue, yet they continue the same shady practices. If you want to verify, just ****** "Grubhub Class Action Lawsuit." Its clear that even a legal judgment wasnt enough to make them change how they treat customers and their delivery drivers.

      Grubhub is a robber and cheat. On March 12th I ordered a chicken cheesesteak and they brought me a beefsteak and told me I could not be compensated fir the error. Today, March 15th I ordered 2 chicken cheesesteaks and received 2 beefsteaks and again was told I could not be compensated. A real ripoff. They can look in their computer system and see what I ordered so when I send them a photo of what I received compensation should be automatic. They are robbers, cheats, and liars. A real shame. Im a senior and I dont have $ to just give to Grubhub.

      This company clearly hires anyone off the street. We had an order stolen by our driver, and another arrived an hour after it was expected. This all occurred within a 24 he time span, with two different couriers. When I requested a refund via the Help function on the app, I was directed to a chat with extremely unhelpful staff. Instead of issuing me a refund, they continually offered me a credit to use their service again. Why would I ever want to use Grubhub again after these experiences? Judging by the other reviews, this business is a failure and does not care about its employees or customers. I will never order from them again and would advise anyone to stay far away, try **** Eats instead.

      They dont deliver on time so your food is cold and/or with items missing. EVERY. TIME! Then you cant get any help because their in app links dont work!?? I can understand technical difficulties but NOT every time!

      I will NEVER USE GRUBHUB AGAIN! I ordered 2 entrees over 2.5 hours ago. Was able to finally cancel the order after seeing the driver drive all over town except where they were supposed to go. I reached out to their customer service just to be told they will not refund my money to my card that they were more than happy to take the payment from. So needless to say this free service that ************ offers should be taken away. Funny how ********* can deliver within roughly 30 mins but Grubhub cant within 2.5 hours. OH AND NOT TO MENTION THE SUPERVISOR DISCONNECTED MY CHAT! LIKE HOW ARE YOU A SUPERVISOR?

      They do not uphold their own terms of use. They placate and respond disingenuously, as they casually ignore their own rules. ******** times they claim to guarantee is a farse. What hot food, better start praying, as the company doesn't follow its own rules and doesn't care about its customers. They are in clear breach of contract, with its customers.
