      I had an accident where I hit my head and needed to go to the hospital for 3+ days and I have been a long time customer of ******************. I faxed into Combined all of my paperwork for my claim, nearly 80 pages, on 10/18/22 and I have heard nothing back yet. I make my payments every month on time so why is it ok for Combined to take over a month and I don't hear anything about my claim. Anytime I try and call in for help the customer service rep is either no help or doesn't understand the issue. Please help me get my claim paid properly. Thank you.

      I've cancelled via phone, email and sending letters yet they try and bill me for $240.00 of service that I do not wish to have. When I emailed and cancelled, they said it was closed. Then 6 letters later asking for $240.00 for renewal. I called and they said there was no record of me cancelling via email. I don't know what email I used and couldn't find it. I told them on the phone, I do not want to renew. Please stop billing me. 15 times later, I'm still getting bills for a renewal, the sales agent keeps calling me to try and get me to renew. I DON'T WANT TO RENEW. I'm not paying for it. STOP SENDING ME RENEWAL BILLS. I don't WANT THIS. The sales agent has even called all my offices trying to find me and saying, "it's urgent to talk with me because I have a "CLAIM". HOW??? I HAVEN'T AND WON'T RENEW. Not that it's a lot of money, it's just an unnecessary bill.

      I am a policy holder since the mid 90s of a cancer insurance. Never filed a claim till July/August of this year, have not heard a thing, I have called numerous times and all I get is we will check on it, the statice in my portal says pending, they have everything they need for this claim, Im am so tired of this, I want this settled NOW!!

      I have been trying to fix a problem with my policies. Hours and hours on a phone. They will not return calls and leave you hanging. I have been a policy holder with them for 18 years . Now they have canceled ********* which pay back amount after 20 years . Have proven that I have payed asked for supervisors to call and still nothing. Very concerning

      I have been paying premiums for multiple policies to this insurance company since ****. Over the years I have filed a few small preventive claims that were covered each with $50 *** reimbursements. However now that I have been diagnosed with cancer this company has done every thing possible to ignore my claims. I submitted over 100 pages of documentation and Dr completed forms that were received on August 26, 2022. Since then I have called 6 times and I have been told everything from "We never received anything from you" to "An email will be sent to your adjuster for expediting" Claim number ******** Sept 9 2022 spoke with ****. Nothing received but magically found it when I asked to speak with a manger and was then given a temporary claim number,Sept 29 2022 spoke with *****. Claim number needs to be created and will escalate to get number and adjuster assigned. I am to call back in a week to get this information.Oct 7 2022 spoke with Even finally found claim using temporary claim number. Transferred me to agent *** will escalate to adjuster and call me back within 24 hours. No return call.Nov 12 2022 spoke with **** said I was assigned claim number ******** and my adjuster is Annacaren.Nov 15 2022 Received letter dated Oct 11 2022. Stated my claim was recently received .....However, it was in my wife ****'s name. She does not have any claims pending.Nov 26 2022 spoke to **** corrected name on claim to mine and transferred me to claims department **** told me would email adjuster to expedite my claim.Nov 14 2022 spoke with *** going to email to adjuster to expedite. My wife told him if no positive information was received on this claim within one week I was reporting them to BBB. Nothing was received. As more Dr ***** come in I have more documentation to submit but if nothing is being done with what I have already submitted already what is the point.

      I have been a long time customer of ****************** and I filed a claim a month ago for my accident and submitted 81 pages of documents and I haven't heard a thing from them. A whole month and no response is not right, especially when the insurance is advertised as "get money when you need it the most." Please help me get this resolved, I don't want to wait forever for my claim to get resolved. Thank you

      I have paid my premiums in full for multiple insurance with Combined Insurance since ****; more than 25 years already. This year, in July, I had an accident and was diagnosed with multiple lower-back hernias and severe spinal stenosis. I am regularly followed by the same doctor for this problem, and all documents were completed and sent back in due time. The doctor accidentally wrote the date of happening of the accident under clause A)Illness instead of clause B)Accident; only for the date that is, nothing more; the rest was clear that it was an accident. I had been waiting for more than 2 weeks today, so I called up Combined Insurance to know what was going on with my claim. The person that responded was cold, without empathy whatsoever, and said that I had a illness and wasn't covered by the insurance. I reminded her that multiple hernias aren't an illness, and that this was indeed an accident case. She refused to cooperate and understand the situation. I got my wife to speak to her, yet still she did not change her mind, even worse she was austere in her approach. I'm very concerned how the claim got mishandled; enough to know that the claim reviewer never called my doctor since my doctor would have easily confirmed this was an accident case, not an illness! This proves that Combined Insurance never even took the time to verify with medical authorities! That in itself is a serious lack of professionalism, and the response is even less professional. I am a father of three, have a house, car, bills like anyone else, and am now deep stressed by the fact that I have paid my dues yet have no service for my payments, added to austerity and unprofessionalism. The degree of stress this has caused me is insane. This company needs to be investigated as it has trespassed to threshold of trust, and there's proof they never investigated to find out with my doctor. I simple call to my doctor could have changed the outcome.

      I filed an insurance claim on October 14th, 2022 following the correct protocol with all necessary information requested so far from Combined Insurance and was told they would reach out to me within 5 business days. On October 17th, I received a notification that the claim had been assigned to an adjuster and was being reviewed for completeness. That is the last communication I have received from the company. It is now November 6th, 2022. On one occasion the website showed I had no open claims whatsoever and my information was gone. The following day, the claim information was back, but still no updated information. The loss date was 10/18/2021. My Claim number is "********" and Claim type is "Cancer." We have never missed a policy payment, as they are automatic, and have been good customers. We have been dealing with a cancer diagnosis in our family and would like to be treated with the dignity and respect that Combined Insurance Company has promised their customers.

      My Mother passed away in August of 2022 and had a life insurance policy with Combined Life Insurance. Numerous attempts have been made to contact this company by phone and email, however, they are refusing to communicate in any form or fashion in an apparent attempt to avoid paying out the proceeds of her life insurance policy, which I find absolutely shameful as we mourn my Mothers passing. I am in the process of having my attorney look into this matter with the New ********************* of ********* Services.

      This is my second contact to BBB regarding the failure of Combined Insurance to provide payment for coverage during my injury which prevented me from working. All forms of communication were submitted, multiple calls were made, but no payment have been received. Most recently, I was told that a representative would call in regard to my complaint (the phone rep was quite understanding) but no call was forthcoming. Notes on this case were posted previously to you. They have yet to provide any communication or payment despite years of payroll deductions for their coverage. Please help as I have lost wages that have created a hardship that remains.Thank you.
