6/5/2022 7/09/2022 7/25/2022 I have been a client of this Insurance company since 2015. This is the first year I have filed any claims. The website is faulty and the agents are untruthful and inept. I had surgery for a severely broken hand and severed ligament. I have entered a claim into the system 3 times and it does not appear online in my account. I called and a claims agents gave me a claim number and assured me it was in the system. I have yet to receive payment and when i entered the "claim number" I am being told no such number exists. I have been on hold with these people for hours on end and still nothing. I am behind on my bills due to loss time from work and PT.Business Response

I have called in at minimum 5 times to inquire on the status of my paperwork. I pay a monthly fee for services and if injured, sick or unable to work I file forms. I have done so and each time I am told something different, my paperwork has been recieved or to look online. I have ... of course the website is almost always wrong. I submitted a claim to Combined Insurance *** on 6-2-22 via mail. They received the required paperwork on 6-9-22 and said it was gonna take about a week to review the claim and that theyd let me know if they needed extra info. We pay $145.17/mo. for this ins. and have been their customer since 5/2016. I and my ***************************************** agent have made contact w/ Combined a couple times since to find out the status of our claim (#********). They told our agent it was gonna be escalated earlier this month, but when I talked to them on 7/18/22, Combined shared that they would escalate it because it hadnt been done when our agent last talked to them. Its been four days since my last call, and our claim still doesnt show up as processed. Ive been given conflicting information and excuses as to why this is so. We just want the benefits we were promised wed get when we decided to purchase this supplemental health/accident insurance.Business Response

I submitted a claim to Combined for my cancer diagnoses back in January or February and I keep getting the runaround. Documents have been both mailed and faxed and yet they keep claiming that they don't have the information they need. I was told on multiple occasions by Combined representatives that they had all the info they needed and now months later they try to say they don't have my info. This is very unprofessional and should not take this long. I just want my claim processed in a timely manner and not have to take months and months.Business Response

with a broker I started an insurance plan through ******************* in 2021. I canceled this insurance Jan 2022. After review of bank statements This company continued to charge my card for insurance that was cancelled. I have called several numbers which include ****** the broker, market place, and the combine insurance. with ***** on the line Combine was notified of no insurance policy due to cancel in jan 2022. I then am being advised by the combine they will not reimburse me and they still have not cancelled the plan to continue charging me. Now i have to file a fraud complaint and probably change bank accounts due to their continue fraud. I want a reimbursement and i want this off of my account.Business Response

I would like to file a complaints about life insurance company called combined ins. My brother who had life insurance with them passed away in February and they refuse to pay. Multiple attempts to get them process the claim. They continue to say we are reviewing this claim. Even the attorney office has. Contacted them without success. Horrible service. Life insurance claim to fame what would you do if someone passes. 7months later with no payment is ridiculous. I have paid premiums to **** company for 8 years. At first they were great. First 3 years. They were prompt. After 3 years it is nothing but a fight for them to pay a claim. Their website is a joke that they prefer you to file your claim. My policy # is T7425674. This claim # ******** that I am filing a complaint on I have asked combined for reconsideration after taking forever to process. A year ago I had the same procedure done but this time more evasive by being sedated. They paid the claim last year and this time denied the claim. Last year also had a biopsy procedure done which is removal of thyroid tissue to biopsy, they paid the claim for the procedure. A couple months later I had it done again at the hospital and was sedated and biopsy was more evasive also removal of tissue to be biopsies and that claim was denied and I was told that it's not covered because I did not have removal of a body part or organ. I argued that a biopsy is removal of body tissue! Of course they still denied the claim although they paid it a couple months prior. There is no one to talk to except any operator and it's suggested to send letter back writing to have reconsidered. There is only and name of nitin/nitin claim ***** On the letter. Cannot contact the adjuster. This company has received so many bad reviews on the same issue of constant denials after people start their policies they are great and soon after, it starts. I would like reconsideration on my claims I had 2 claims paid of different procedures and then had both procedures done again and denied. It is horrible that you cannot speak directly to anyone on the claim and they never provide information on website they push to use. Today is the 18th of July, their website stated today its in review. I call every week and not told it's denied until the letter today I recieved dated July 4th.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: this procedure was affecting tissue as in destroying nerves. As I stated you paid this procedure last year. Also, as claimed, you paid a claim for removal of body tissue of my thyroid and a couple months later denied it as well claiming it must be removal or repair of body tissue. So how do you explain removal of body tissue for biopsy is not covered? Along with destroying body tissue with the ablation? You have so many bad reviews same problems. Your great at first then deny every claim after a couple years of paying premiums. Explain removal of tissue fully sedated of thyroid for a biopsy? This is wrong. You need to make good on what you say you cover. You don't pay "by mistake" 2 times 2 different procedures.

I filed my disability claim they received it May 24 for a month I called asking what was taking so long was told they dont need any additional documentation to find out a month later they needed a surgical report and never bothered to notify me they are dragging their feet on paying out my disability claim.
