I have an insurance policy with this company. They take months to pay out settlements that are supposed to be updated in 1-2 business days per company policy. Last time It took several months for this company to pay my settlement claim. I have one more pending settlement balance. I would like to cancel and get a refund of all premiums paid. I was told by a current employee of the company (not my agent) that I have no insurable interest in the person I have insurance on. Therefore, if anything happened the claims would not be paid out. I contacted my agent just to cancel her portion of the policy (not even looking for a refund, told her I was tight on money etc.) and my agent was rude and disrespectful. I don't trust this company or its agents. The agent was eager to come to my home, yet one text message and her entire demeanor changed. I would like all my premiums paid back to me for all policies. How can you sell a policy knowingly with no insurable interest? If that was on my aunt's policy I can only imagine my own policy. I have filed to accident insurance claims for my deceased father, *************************, at combined insurance. One claim is under review and have heard anything for almost a month, the other claim I haven't received any acknowledgement or acceptance of the claim. I faxed both claims. My complaint with Combined Insurance involves their failure to pay out on two policies I have with the company. I have called numerous times since I downloaded all the required information onto their online portal(July 3, 2022). The customer service employees are not helpful and divert all blame and failure to pay out on my policies onto the adjuster that is handling my case. I have never spoken to the adjuster, nor have I received any return correspondence from the adjuster after leaving voice messages. Combined insurance owes me approximately $8,000 from the two policies I have with the company. I am a 20+ year customer and have only made small claims in the past. The current claim will be the biggest payout I have received from the company. I personally feel that is the reason they refuse to answer my phone messages or pay out on the two policies. I have had this disability policy for over 20 years and never filed a claim. In Jan of this year, I had to retire due to ongoing health reasons. In Apri 2022l I filed a claim with this company online. For over two months I was told my claim was being reviewed. It was not. I finally talked with someone who said I hadn't filled out any of the paperwork. I filled this out as soon as received and returned it. As it included a HIPPA release, they should have been able to contact my MD and get any information needed. Instead, they insisted I take a form to my rheumatologist that is an hour and 1/2 away. I finally got the form to my dr ( they had said they would fax to him but they did not.) They had a problem with dates on form as this is an ongoing illness. My dr re-submitted it and they received it on Aug 19 2022. I have called them numerous times with no resolution. They have had over 10 business days to review it although I was told it would not take this long and my check would be mailed 2 weeks ago. I have been lied to, hung up on, told I would be contacted and wasn't. This company is the epitome of a bad faith insurance company.Business Response

I still havent received a check and emails to claim adjuster have been ignored regarding this. I feel this was just another delay tactic to make me drop this case.

I have a disability insurance policy with Combined Insurance. Policy #C0112784. I have been paying an insurance premium of approximately $77 per month to them for 15 years. I got injured at work June 1 2022 and is unable to work. I completed my elimination period of 30 days as per my policy agreement. As of Jul 2 I was eligible for my 1st payment of $2304. Due to the process of getting forms completed by my Employer and my Treating Physician I submitted the paperwork July 15th. I was sent one payment of $2304 on Aug 3 and a computer explanation read if your still not working submit all the payment again. I shouldve received 2 payments. I have submitted more paperwork Aug 19 and still no Aug payment. This is unacceptable and as of today Sep 1, I am calling customer service and I keep getting a call back message. I have called customer service 5 times and asked for my adjuster for and explanation and no call or email. This company is fraudulent. They owe me my Aug and Sept payment and I want it. I filed a claim almost 10 months ago to no resolve. My mother had recently purchased insurance with Combined I dont know if thats why im getting the run around or not. I have been communciating with the claim line and am informed each time i call they havent received info from her doctors. The doctors are informing me thy have never received any request from Combine I have gone around and around with them for more than 9 months now . We are at an impass I am now contacting doctors to ask them to send records to me so that i can send to Combine Insurance i need help I felt the insurance company would challenge the coverage since my mom hadnt been a policy holder for more than 2 years I didnt relize they would torture the beneficiary . I have insurance thru Combined Insurance Company. I have filed claim after claim with them and they keep on sending me letters saying they needed more information from my Dr. which i got and sent to them,I have policies to cover MRI, Ct scan, x rays. Had surgery on July 27, 2022 and submitted my claim on the 28th. Combined Insurance was already aware of my healthcare provider, and knew the paperwork they provided. Combined insurance would not accept any of the proof of surgery, or the attending physician statement. Combined wanted paperwork that did not exist within my medical network. After 3 weeks of back and forth with duplicate paperwork, they finally accepted the proof and approved payment on August 18. According to multiple customer service reps at ******************, the payment was sent/paid on August 19. Since an e-payment option was our method of payment, they told us it takes a couple days for the payment to be processed. After waiting 5 days, Ive been calling Combined insurance everyday for an update on my payment, and every time its a different response. No one knows where the money is, and they tell me to wait because I have to let the 2 day grace ****** take effect. Even though they know its been a couple weeks since payment was paid, they insist it has only been a couple of days and I should learn to wait. I call every day and every time no one knows where the payment is.Business Response

I have filed my claim on 8/3/2022 when check on my claim states it being assigned to a adjuster when I call every few days they acted like they didnt recieved my discharge paperwork they have been rude to customer some of the employees, its 8/24/2022 I talked to them on the 8/18/2022 they finally say the havw all my documents but the claim Adjuster havent did anything yet they never took this long, these employee working from an not doing they job, like why is it take. So Long to pay me out I had policy for a year before I even did a claim now they giving me the run around about finished pay me out what this company owe. They rep said since they received my paper work on the 16th it will take 3 more days now its 4 days an I cant even check my claim online because when I close my account with them they close me out so I cant check upon my claim please helpBusiness Response
