      Poor customer service. Claims are sent in through emails with proof of receipt. Bankers then states they did not receive paperwork. Very quick to collect premiums but talk about jumping through hoops to submit and process claims. Horrible experience and calling in to talk to live customer service...good luck, they outsource calls to location that do not understand English.

      My father left me a Bankerslife benefit. The problem is that after I filed the claim I received a notice that the claim was approved, but I never received any funds. When I called to follow-up, I was told to wait 10 days. Then when still no money was received, I was told the check was returned. They said they would send it again, but still no money was received. I reached out to customer service and asked why they would send a check with no tracking service. Every time they made lame excuses apologizing for my loss. I asked to escalate to a manager who said he was going to stop the check and send a new check through *****. The super odor said he would call me with the tracking number, but, he never did. I followed up to see what the tracking number was and was told the manager would call me the next day. The super odor/manager never did. Still no check has ever. Been received. I let the supervisor know this was very suspicious, sending large amounts of money with no.tracking service. My Dad paid for this policy and now there is no way to make them send .e the money he left me. This has place me in an awful bind. Now I have to file a fraud law suit to get the money my Dad left me.

      For the past couple of months this company has been calling asking for my husband. I have told 3 different people that he is deceased and not to call my number again. I'm not sure what they don't understand but they continue to call. This is my last resort to get them to quit calling me before I hire an attorney. I am tired of being harassed by this business.

      Beware of buying a Long term care policy from this company. My parents paid annual premiums for over 30 years for ************** and fortunately did not have to use it until my dad turned 93 - which he only lived 6 months after that. This company was awful about not reimbursing us what they owe us.. each month they claimed they didn't get the right forms from the medical facility/nursing home, or they claim they are requesting "additional verification of care" and every excuse to push out payment. We've had to cover everything out of pocket while I continue to call them and get every excuse why they are delaying reimbursement. Each time I call, the agent gives me another run around, they are dismissive and not helpful. Immediately after my dad died, they cancelled my online portal where I kept all the documents and correspondence - without notice. Now, I'm having to go back and locate everything to try to continue to get them to pay what they owe us. It is completely unacceptable. They claim different reasons for not paying each time I call. They are absolutely the worst. Terrible client service.

      Purchased a supplemental Cancer policy and unfortunately I needed to use it 17 years later. I can not get them to pay any of the claims! I have to call every week and spend 1 hour on the phone, I have to resubmit claims over and over! I am still fighting to get paid for claims from 2023! ! DO NOT PURCHASE A POLICY FROM THEM.

      Zero rating, the worst experience, the worst company to do any business with. Originally, I purchase 3 life policy's and 1 critical illness, canceled 3 life policy's in 2021, no refund! Just canceled critical illness policy which was originally written for 10 years, the made changes without my consent to 20 years, no refund/return on this policy ********* NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.

      The company is awful. They sent a check to the funeral home without my endorsement, as the beneficiary. I asked them for verification of my signature or copies of paperwork where I requested an endorsement. I was told that I needed to send a request in writing. I sent the request, they sent me a letter back saying that I can be assured that they have the documents. That's absolutely unprofessional and ludicrous. During the months of going back and forth, I was left me on long holds, got conflicting information from different agents and they refused to assist me in rectifying the mistake that they made. It's disheartening to go through a fight when you just experienced a loss. This company would get a Zero rating from me. Families please beware. I don't want others to experience what I did.

      Would get 0 stars if I could. Mom had very small life insurance policy for her burial expenses. Passed away on 2/5/2025, notified Bankers on 2/6/2025. Today is 03/27/25 and payout of her policy has not happened. Every time my sister calls, who is beneficiary; they first can't find the file, then apologize for the wait and say they will have this taken care of today. Today, my sister called again after speaking with a "supervisor" on Monday who said check would be disbursed Tuesday, that check will not be disbursed for 7-10 days for security reasons. I know there is a 60 day rule that insurance co. must pay interest if not paid out by then. Seems like Bankers is giving us the run around so they can hold onto the insurance funds until the 60 day ***** I will never recommend this company to anyone, go with a more reputable company so your loved ones have the money you intended to be used for your funeral and burial expenses. So disheartening and disrespectful to the one who has passed.

      I have paid on my life insurance policy since 2003. on the 1st of December they canceled my policy claiming there was not enough cash left and was never called by any agent to tell me what was going on. When i bought the policy from a friend of mine i was told that it would never go up in price and was a great policy and company. i guess i see now why my friend no longer works for Bankers Life! I spent $12,390.84 for nothing, what a joke these people are.
