Just try calling them. Over an hr on hold. Finally hung up. Tried again. Same. They took a 45 year accredited, highly esteemed Internal Medicine practice in ******* and what was a 5 minute phone call to make an appointment is now an on hold experience for an hr or more and a website that screws up appointments. Even the remaining doctors that sild out are disgusted. And no place or phone number to call to complain or write to. Their Chicago HQ # is not set up to take calls of this nature. Msnagement does NOT want to hear about major problems.Maybe ************** shoul d shut them down.

This is a complaint about the answering service person named "******" would not disclose her last name. She was hostile as soon as she answered the phone. She talked right through me, had no listening ability at all. She was looking at an old profile for the medicine I was calling about, Insisting SHE was correct, "only doing my job". I had ********** representative on the line with me who tried to intervene with no success. She agreed to call the MD on call, but said he may not be able to do anything. She was not at all helpful and makes me ******* if I need to find a different Doctor.

I am STILL trying to fix my "In-Network" two visits at Village Medical from 10/14/22 & 10/30/22. My husband found this amazing NP at V/M back in Sep 2022. So, we both start going. I had 2 visits & 2 labs. He had like 4 visits. At least 4-5 of these visits insurance declined ALL from those visits due to a provider not providing a diagnosis code. It even states it on the **** statements sent me for each visits claim. Since early Nov 2022 I have been fighting for my 2 visits diagnosis to be fixed. Oct 2022 for my husband's visits. His shockingly, just got fixed and I just paid what was due a week ago. Not for mine. **** calls me yesterday, states V/M billing **** told them all mine is correct after their review. Her hands are tied, she's closing my case as she can't get V/M to fix my bill. That U can request chart notes & speak to my provider or file a complaint of quality of service. This is SO upsetting. What a scam V/M. Working around people's insurance to get more money? Is that what this is all about? How shady!! I loved our new NP and I just established as a new patient. NOW, I need to go reestablish elsewhere because you can't bill insurance/code properly. I have spent too many months TRYING to resolve this issue. Also, the lab from my B/W is now sending me a bill directly, where some of it 'should' have been covered under my insurance, had they billed correctly. I've already warned co-workers stay away. Great NP there but horrific billing.

The Village Medical my husband visited has no idea how to read a transferring doctor's notes, check ******** benefits before providing a service, or communicate with the patient what out of pocket expenses will occur. How can you have a simple ******** wellness exam with a single vaccination, then receive an out-of-pocket bill of over nine hundred dollars from a primary care doctor? This is negligence (utter failure to take proper care) and we will never return to a Village Medical Clinic. Forget about calling the clinic, billing department, or even sending an email to the billing department - you will not receive a response after months and months. No one is interested in resolving this with any type of fairness.

I visited local ********* Pharmacy at ********************************************************** and saw this Village Medical housed inside it.I walked and asked if they would accept my insurance.I was told yes and so I booked the appointment.I had a great doctor. I made few visits and was prescribed a specialist visit too, They checked that the specialist accepts my insurance. And all of a sudden, I started getting bills! My insurance is zero deductible, so there should not have any bill.I called the local clinic. They said call headquarter scheduling department. They just did not want to get involved. The headquarter scheduling department blamed the local location.I still keep getting bills.Nobody is interested in resolving the issue.I want the bills to be made as per my insurance.
