  My issue is with the purchase process. I filled out the sections they provided, I assumed these were just basic guidelines due to them being capped at 400 and 700 characters. I thought I'd be able to discuss details with the writers or that they'd ask questions. I realized I was wrong and I emailed in one business day later, albeit I purchased on a Friday and emailed in the following Monday. Customer support let me know that I was out of luck, they then tried to up sell me on more product to "fix" the issue. So far this process has been a NIGHTMARE that I do not recommend. I will share my thoughts on the songs when it becomes available.

  I was excited to try this service out to celebrate our anniversary. I provided everything they needed and received the created song in a timely manner. The song however was not creative, took some of what I said word for word and added a guitar tune to it. It was also repetitive. For example, I mentioned my wife is thoughtful and good gift giver as one of the many attributes when describing her. The chorus which repeats throughout the song says works so hard, a great gift giver. Like over and over and over again. Who wants that in a song celebrating your anniversary? After several attempts to share my disappointment, they offered to redo it for $100 more! Keep in mind it cost $200 to do it initially. So no refund was offered, or even the opportunity to redo it for free! They wanted to charge me ANOTHER $100! Steer clear of this company. Not worth the money and they treat unsatisfied customers terribly. Hire a musician friend to write something for half the cost and it will probably be much better quality.

  Okay now this is so very wrong and you are ripping me off now.First you charge me $338 *********** dollars, and you create a song which we wont even be able to relate or feel special. I was then given an option to revise it and gave the exact same information that i gave before, now your artist didn't choose to put that info into the song which would make it special and it was so repetitive too, now you are coming back to me that i have to pay $40 usd more which would be $67 nzd.Now i have almost paid you guys $400 on a song that don't even make us feel special.This is absolutely ridiculous, either give me my money back as i am just working part time and this amount is big for me, i really though after looking the videos of your profile on Instagram how people were able to relate and i thought this would be so special. I have had a bad experience with you guys and just want to get done with it.I would like to get an answer now please to put an end instead of going back and forth asking for more money. Not my fault if you made a song which was repetitive and not special for us.Thanks *****

  I truly believe that Songfinch does not hire quality artists and musicians. The song I received was not worth my money, and it sounded like it was just thrown together in an hour, both musically and lyrically. The lyrics had no rhythm and didn't make much sense, and the music sounded like a loop from GarageBand. I thought this would be a good gift idea for my upcoming wedding, but I would honestly be embarrassed to send the song I received to my fianc as a gift. I went back and forth with customer service to see if I could get some sort of partial refund on it but was not successful. The ads for Songfinch on social media are certainly deceiving. I really thought the songs that they advertised sounded good and worth my while. However, the song I paid for simply did not at all meet my expectations for what I thought I would receive. I wish the artist would work with you along the way while they create the song or something along those lines. I could pay $100 to have another artist write a different song, but I really don't want to spend even more money on this platform just to have another lazily written song sent to me. I literally just want a partial refund on the song that was sent to me so I can use it to buy a different wedding gift for my fianc, but I unfortunately don't think that will happen. Songfinch: please hire some more talented artists who are actually willing to create songs that have some semblance of effort and maybe consider having some check-ins with the customer before the song is complete to ensure that it is to our satisfaction.
