There is no wait list for a reason honey, please do not consider this school. I will be Graduating in September and I regret my decision to go to this school. I am also in 100k of debt and struggling to work with their schedule as they could not deliver nights and weekends as promised. They have Huge administrative issues and unobtainable guidelines, people are failing out of the program within their last year. There are other programs in the valley such as *** and GCU I have heard good things about ********** as well. This program is unable to deliver what is promised, once you start clinicals your credits are non transferable here and you will be locked in. If you are considering nursing good luck on your Journey and go for it, you got this!

Want to write a review that's also a response to the most recent. There is no reason it should be taking you 5 years to finish a 2-3 year (part time) degree. I am currently in NR 602 and graduate in 5 months and I can tell you, you get out of this school what you put into it. The only part that lacks is obviously clinical placements, most schools don't help you and that's the sad truth. This isn't just a chamberlain thing. As far as the grading system, if you cant maintain a minimum of an 84% being this close to graduation, you should not be treating patients as an advanced provider. You have to put the work in, its not meant to be easy. Previously, anything between an 80-83% was a C+, there is no reason you should be graduating with a less than 3.0 GPA while other students bust their ***** to maintain As and Bs. A minimum passing grade should not be below a B-. There is nothing unfair about the grading system change. Get a grip and put the work in. There are minor disadvantages are there are with any nursing program, I do agree there is a lack of guidance, teachers grade and don't teach, and *** can be a total disaster at times. But when they tell you a practicum application is due AT LEAST 4 months prior, then submit it on time. I've not been lucky, I've had to pay for practicum sites but I make sure things are submitted on time and haven't had to sit out of a course. Exams are from the textbook, which as students we should be reading anyway. I have learned so much, the courses are intense but your effort should be even more intense if you want to feel prepared. Much of nursing school is self-guided and self-taught, it takes discipline no matter where you go.

Chamberlain university is a horrible organization. I've been taking courses since 2020 its now 2025 and I'm 6 credits away from graduating and they decide to make the new passing grade an 85% minimum instead of the 80% that it was. Nothing more than a money grab to take advantage of college students. Of course I got an 83% and received an F for the class. Now it has been almost 2 weeks and they have yet to put me back into the class so that I may pay for it over again and attempt to graduate. Ok top of this you have to wait upwards of 1 hour and ***** minutes to talk to someone. Absolute trash university. If you are considering going here, DONT! its by far the worst student experience I've ever had. They don't give a **** about you here, just your money.

******** students be aware this program is developed only to support *** students. ***Going into NR547, which is the first Clinical rotation, you will only take two courses geared towards psych proceeding this course. Everything else will be medical leading up to this point. In NR547 you are required to take a *** exam which is explained as preparation for the boards. Except the *** exam is 25% of your final grade. There is over 100 questions on the exam and only 12 of them are psych related. I personally did not pass this exam and was given a score 75/150 (50%). You are required to do 10 hours of remediation for each section failed. I had to do 30 hours of remediation which I receive no additional points for. But if you don't do the remediation, you do not pass the class. They have also increased their passing score from an 80% to an 84%. Due to the *** exam, which was completely medical based minus the 12 psych questions, I had to consistently play catch-up with my grade attempting to pass. The amount of time you are required to spend on this of course does not reflect in the credits given for this course. I ended the course with an 83.7% which is an F. I will not be allowed to move onto the next course unless I sit out a semester and go in front of the **** and students and asked to continue in their program. The reality is, I don't want to be in their program anymore because they are unfair to ***** students. At this point, it feels like the school is a scam to get ***** students to fail, requiring them to take courses again and pay additional money. I worked extremely hard and I passed the course content. I did not pass the *** exam, which led me to fail the course.

Chamberlain has a "no mistakes" policy; meaning, if you make the slightest error, you can kiss your time, effort, and money goodbye! i am a master's educated RN who enrolled in the post-master's FNP program. i have had a 90% throughout the first 7 weeks of this course; i accidentally submitted the template for the final assignment instead of the final assignment itself. upon correcting the error and pleading with the professor and the **** for some leniency and perhaps a late grade, i was advised that there would be no resubmissions or consideration for my error. what a joke. accidents happen. a clerical error. CHAMBERLAIN ONLY WANTS YOUR MONEY and the professors and administrators are HEARTLESS.

This school only cares about taking your money. They provide no assistance to their students as promised and are neglectful. We are basically teaching ourselves and then we are also responsible for find our own practicum site. I managed to find a practicum site (which was expensive) for my last course ******************************************************************************************************** for, only for me to receive a late email stating that I've been dismissed from the program due to a drop in gpa. Why wasn't this checked before?? Why was allowed to start the course pay for my practicum site only to be dismissed for my very last class???

I began the *** program in 2017. In ********************************************************************* August 2023 I reached out to my advisor and requested to enroll and complete my program. I was told I would need to retake 3 courses that had expired and then 2 more courses that were new to the program before I could complete my clinical rotations. I agreed and began my classes. I was set to begin clinical rotations in September 2024 and graduate in June 2025. The first week of my clinical practice, without warning, I received an emailed stating I had been academically dismissed. I thought it had to be an error since I have a 3.41 GPA. Upon calling I was told there is a maximum time limit to complete the program. I was never advised of this time limit when beginning in 2017 or when I enrolled again in August 2023. I was told everything was great and I am set to finish, all while they knew they would never allow me to finish my degree. They stole a years worth of tuition and my time from me. I then attempted to transfer to another university and Chamberlain refused to give me a letter of good standing and instead sent the new university a letter saying I was academically dismissed. I was then not accepted at that school. Now I am $75,000 in debt and have no degree from Chamberlain and they are preventing me from completing my degree elsewhere.

Currently a student using VA Benefits and CURRENTLY looking for a different school to utilize my benefits at!!! Before I started I heard of how they had racist instructors who were able to bend the rules due to them also being professors there but I would've never believed it if I hadn't experienced it myself. The professor that all the past students talk about is also the Associate Dean of Faculty. The professor asked me about dropping their class 3 weeks before the class ended because I had a 74% and not the required 76%, when I told her I planned to stay because I new I cold raise the grade (due to the upcoming assignments that were due) miraculously a few days later one of papers got 'flagged" for plagiarism. The crazy part is, I'd used the template the professor provided to write the paper , there were some similarities but I used my own sources and a completely different topic. I've honestly never attended a school that used past students work as a template for other students to use. It seems unfair if they know students will be flagged for plagiarism. The racial part of this situation came about when one of classmates who used the same template and paper showed 41% similarities never received a zero on the assignment like I did, and yes she is a white girl. I would've pushed the issue more but I know how hard we all have worked to pass this instructors class so I didn't want to risk her failing the class like I have. Upon withdrawing from the class I had a 75.86 in my core assignments but the professor decided to not round it to a 76% and gave me a Withdrawal failure instead of a Withdrawal Pass. Needless to say it's pointless to be at a institution that picks and chooses who the rules apply to and what rules they want to follow or not.

I submitted a request to Chamberlain for additional information regarding their DNP program. I received a call from the school representative who basically wanted to know where I obtained my prior degrees, my current place of employment, my work history among other things. While I understand the logistic of this for someone who is actually applying to their program, but this was ridiculous for someone just trying to obtain basic information. It's a NO for me.
