Honestly a joke of an institution and this school, their academic advising, their ELC team, it is all a JOKE! These people care about ONE thing and that is taking your money. Don't waste your time or effort. They don't care or help you in any way. No one knows anything. There are no admission requirements to meet just suggestions !!!!! its reviewed on a case-by-case basis. no real structure, you can't reach anyone besides an 800 # it's not a pleasant experience for POC and I'm certain based on applications from POC vs someone who is NOT a POC that plays a factor in decision.

This school, their academic advising, their ELC team, it is all a JOKE! These people care about ONE thing and that is taking your money. They do not assist in any form or fashion to find preceptors, they do not work diligently to process applications for sites once we finally find them, and they dont not communicate effectively in any form. The staff is COMPLETELY rude to you when you call for updates. They dont try to make things right at all. In fact, theyre annoyed that they have to answer the same question a million times whats going on with my application for preceptorship? Wed stop asking if someone actually helped or if they hired people to do the **** job! On top of that, we pay an astronomical resource fee.FOR S*** SERVICE, ATTITUDES, and NO COMMUNICATION. Instead, Im on the verge of losing TWO clinical sites because these people do NOTHING. So thats just wonderful. Thank you chamberlain university for lying about the support you provide and the ease of the program.

Having the absolute WORST experience with the ELC/practicum department during my MSN informatics degree. I am at a standstill and awaiting overall approval for my practicum for months now. No one knows what is going on and can give me a clear answer. The stress and frustration isnt worth it. No one cares about you or your future. I am unable to register for the next class even though I have submitted everything from my end. This school is trash, I wouldnt recommend it to anyone.

I am on the phone with the accreditation board as I write this. The *** program was fine. I would never recommend this MSN program at Chamberlain to anyone. They have no problem taking your money and then when ELC is supposed to be "providing assistance" they disappear. I had to change specialty tracks because they do absolutely nothing to assist with any placements at all. You can't even get an appointment with regular advising right now. You can't get anyone to talk to you. I'm fairly certain I AM THE CUSTOMER in this situation. I will finish this program and I will encourage anyone to stay far away from Chamberlain.

********************* Out of the blue ELC made up that I need a 2 step PPD but I have a blood TB test. Everyone knows that the gold interferon overrides. I call everyday and they say I am ready to register and nothing!!! Worse of all the paperwork I signed for the site said the blood test if fine. They don't read their own papers. I then called the site and they said ELC has never called them about anything and didn't know I existed.I am now gonna miss a semester because ELC is **** I have messaged the ****, been escalated to management and ELC is still ignoring me! Stay away from Chamberlain!!

Please, everybody who is looking to use an online program to earn their FNP, DO NOT USE CHAMBERLAIN UNIVERSITY!!!. Just like all the other reviews mentioned below mine, the *** team is less than subpar. I am currently facing sitting out for ************* rotation because they say I have some outstanding items that were not submitted. I have no outstanding items. My local board of nursing says they sent their approval WEEKS ago, before the deadline that the practicum coordinators said I had. Every time I call them and finally get someone on the phone, everybody says that everything is approved; so why did I receive an email TODAY saying that I was dropped from the pediatrics practicum (which was VERY hard to find a pediatrician to agree to precept me) because of these alleged outstanding items? This school is a joke, some of the professors are a joke, the practicum coordinators/*** are a joke. Now I have to push back all my other preceptors I had lined up, which I will probably have to sit out AGAIN because theyre most likely already booked up. DO NOT GO TO CHAMBERLAIN UNIVERSITY.

I am a Nurse Practitioner student with Chamberlain University and I'm going into sitting out my second rotation of clinical because of their failures. Need I say I have an accepting clinical site, but the university cannot get back to me to process it!! I might not have this opportunity again either. I exhausted countless other options for organization to have clinical with. Hurdles I came across were long waiting lists, don't have a contract set with Chamberlain, under construction, transitioning to Epic charting system, too few staff themselves, simply don't respond, and the list goes on. We pay for student services like the experiential learning coordination department they say exists. They simple never answer your email or phone call despite how hard you try. Literally dozens of attempts over the last 4 months. I am beginning to think I spent all this money, grueling late nights and weekends, lost time with my family, and countless other sacrifices for nothing to show for it. I am paying for these so-called supportive services I am never going to receive. There should be legal action against their claim to provide a degree they are UNABLE to provide. If I am unable to get my clinical experience, what am I paying for? I will have no degree in the end. I am too far in to transfer to a different school and wish I would have just gone to a brick-and-mortar local university and faced the strong dislikes I had for that university instead. It would've been a hard pitch with family and a job for me to be physically present for everything at a local university. I know I relate to a lot of people with this. PLEASE do NOT go to Chamberlain if you are needing clinical for ANY type of degree, ESPECIALLY Nurse Practitioner. I would never again do business with such an organization. I gave them immeasurable number of chances to respond before I left this review. I hope I can steer someone away from this route to spare them this misery.

Would not recommend! I am in the *** program. Their ELC department is horrible. It is SO hard finding a preceptor, and when you do they take forever to approve your site. You can call, email, submit cases and they take FOREVER to get back to you. They don't register you on time or communicate at all! They decide to review your practicum application the week or two before class starts and then tells you that you are missing something. MANY students have complained about this program and their dissatisfaction with many different parts of the program. I am livid about having to sit out a class because they didn't approve my site on time. I have spent so much time, ************** to be treated like this.

If I could give Chamberlain 0 or negative stars thats what they deserve. After completing my (overpriced) BSN with them, I thought it would be easier to complete my FNP with them as well. I was so mistaken. Besides the price, there is absolutely no support. They do not answer the phone, specifically the clinical coordinators. I have sent multiple emails, phone calls, left voicemails, and supposedly escalated to mangers, without a single call back. As a student, you put in all the work and then they use being understaffed or busy seasons as excuses to not complete the requirements on their end. They care about money, they have almost lost their accreditation before and it will happen again. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND CHAMBERLAIN! Please do not let them talk you into this school with their BS.
