I attached my direct deposit to the Albert banking app. I was suppose to get paid 09/22/23 and I have yet to receive my paycheck. The payroll has already been posted and should have shown up today at midnight. Every time I try to connect to someone they only send me text messages there is not a real person I can talk to. They are telling me that there is no direct deposit in the account but it should have already been there. This really has screwed up my situation.Business Response

Well albert app just continues to give excuses in reference to me transferring my money from my rainy day savings account to my Albert cash card. Mind you this money in the savings account is money Albert was taking from my bank account on a daily basis some times even multiple times daily. This tells you that it has all been cleared through ACH transfer. So for the last year and a half I have been back and forth with these people known as Geniuss whom I have sent my bank statement to, for them to tell me that I am missing a page! How the h*** would you know what Im missing out of my statement?!! Either way it was just another excuse for them to keep my money from me. And they continue to offer up excuses even though I have met their requests and spent hours emailing these issues only for them to get back to you days later sometimes weeks. It is very unprofessional and should be noted that these hidden identity creators are not even bankers but label theirselves as affiliates of a bank. Had I paid more attention I would have never used this scam of an app. They are so non-attentive to customer service but have no problem dipping their way into money belonging to individuals who have accounts with Albert app. Then on the return of the money they have taken at any chance they saw possible, doing so. Clearly there is a cycle because the problem isnt taking the money, it is allowing the app user to access their own money. And dont expect help, all they offer are rude excuses via email or text. They dont even have a phone number for customer support or any phone number for any point of contact. They are definitely scamming and that would be the reason for the 800 complaints on here. I need the money they so willing took from my account made available on card supplied by then for my immediate use. And/or I need my one time transfer without further hindering caused by this affiliate genius!!Business Response

After paying back an advance today on time and in full as always, this company gave me excuse after excuse for decreasing my advance limit after payback. The first excuse (lie) was that I hadn't made $3,000 since July. I had to send them screenshots to prove that wrong. The next excuse was about my bank connectivity with the app, I had already made sure my bank was connected yesterday, but yet reconnected it again today at their request. My limit didn't change again. The next excuse was something about me getting paid on June 30th instead of July 1, 2022. The day i get paid did not change my income, my income actually went up because of job pay raise, but yet this company still decided to find a way to cheat me out of my money!Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:
Well not sure who is responsible for the error, but trust me when I typed Albertin the business name box before I was finished typing a drop down bar with names for the letters I typed and the one I selected said Albert Genius bank affiliate. So I obviously selected that.
Sincerely,

My name is *********************** am a former customer of ********************** banking and I would like to dispute this unbelievable business act from Albert. I signed up for Albert banking not long ago and recently they decided to close my account without providing further details or any information at all.1. The date of the fraudulent transactions listed on my account was beginning Mar 18, 2022 and continued until I was able to use my brother's phone to log into my account on August 12, 2022. I have not had a phone since then and that is the reason why I could not log into my banking using the app.2. Upon checking the account, I discovered small fraudulent transactions in the amount of $10.52 for ************** and I have already explained to Albert that my phone was stolen. I have no control over the transactions made from Mar 18, 2022 until August 12, 2022. All of my data was compromised and I have tried to reach out to Albert in an email explaining my case but they do not believe me and I have filed a police report with ******' Donuts regarding the case.3. I was using a different phone number back then and I can see why they believe it's suspicious activity but the way they handled my case is unbelievable and rude. It's not about the money for me, I don't care about the money I lost because the thief who used my phone will get it back one day but in my honest review of Albert I would not recommend Albert or any products to anyone because the way they handled my case was their inability to solve the problem. We are consumers and they are supposed to listen to what the consumer says but it is easy for them to target and say we are fraudulent. There is no phone number to contact Albert support so to me that seems like a scam and a fishy business model because I signed up for online banking but they don't have a direct phone number where I can explain my situation.4. The only form of contact was an email address ******************************** but they haven't replied and text is automated.Business Response

I tried to login to my account after seeing a payment come out of my bank account for the Albert Genius account. I was informed that they couldn't verify my identity, so I couldn't login. I asked that my account be canceled because I'm not paying for something I can't use. I was finally informed it was after sending in bank statements. The following month however, attempts were made AGAIN to withdraw money. More than once. When I reach out, they want everything sent in again, only for it to keep occurring. I would advise against ANYONE from opening an account and doing any business with this company because if an issue occurs and your identity can't be verified, you'll still be charged for an account you can't use.Business Response

Charges were not made by me and have been inquired about multiple times, one was recently overturned but still refusing to overturn the other. ***** in pending transactions into my account have gone unsatisfied for months and also refuse to add that money back to my account.Business Response

I had my Albert account set up to receive direct deposit from my employer, but the funds have yet to be deposited into my account. I was informed by an Albert representative that my funds would be available on 8/15/2022 in my account. My funds are not there! I cannot reach a live representative to assist me with finding out where my funds are. I was expecting a deposit in the amount of $682.75. Albert has stolen my funds and have yet to contact me regarding where my funds are!Business Response

I created an account with Albert at the beginning of the year in 2022. I opened a savings account with then, giving them permission to take $10 out of my account each week and put into a savings account. Over the course of 4-5 months i gradually raised the amount each week starting with 10 and eventually $50 each week. I had over $450 in savings. I also put $100 in to invest, as they offer an opportunity to invest in a variety of things. All in all I had over $550 between investments and savings. All of a sudden, one day I went to log in to check my account and was told my password had changed, which I never changed. So I followed the proved steps to try to reset my password. They never sent me and email to do so. I tried reaching out, even though they dont have a contact number to reach them, only by email! After a month long back and forth I have still yet to gain access to my account even after providing proof that I received several messages and emails from them showing I had an account with them. They go on to say that I dont have an account and that there is nothing they can do. I trusted this company with my money and now I am in the hole for $550 because they cant help me gain access back into my account. Luckily I didnt invest thousands of dollars with them and put more into my savings or it would be lost as well. After more research I noticed I am not the only pesos to have issues with this company. They are a terrible company and should not be allowed to trick people into creating an account with them especially if people are trusting them with their hard earned money. Not to mention they dont have a customer service phone number to reach them at. I would hope the BBB would do something to stop this company from stealing from anyone else. Please help!!!Business Response
