This company began taking money out of my checking account a few months ago. After blocking any transactions from this company, they were able to get into another of my accounts and withdraw again. I made a trip to the bank and had any transaction with Albert investigated as I have never signed up for anything dealing with this company. I discovered today that they were able to withdraw from my husband's acct that has my name on it. I'm sick of not being able to contact anyone. This company is a fraud and I will seek counsel on this matter.Business Response

July ***** I was trying to add the genius debit card to my account and it stayed it could not verify my identity. After further investigation they said they could not offer me this service because my identity could not be found. That is a weird concept when they have all of my information for every bank account I have, my ssn and more. To have all of that information but refuse to verify my identity that should already be identified just seems shady. Also when I tried to talk to anyone they referred me to an auto response text message that only gives auto replies to key words you ask. I have asked to speak to anyone in any capacity and to no avail. The only option was to cancel. I did cancel and transferred my funds into my ***** Fargo account. The problem is that I have a $50 balance it will not let me get back no matter what I do and the auto response just states the same response to transfer money that I have already done. I still need my $50 and after cancellation of my account they still withdrew $20 more dollars. I had to reopen my account to transfer my funds and it still will not release my $50Business Response

I use a banking app called Albert I started a secondary job and put Albert as my direct deposit I have been getting my primary check in Alberts account for over a year so I know that it can take time for it to post I know that the app may need refresh sometimes Im very familiar with the app my secondary check was $113 it was my first check from my second job so I watched it like a hawk to make sure that it deposited properly the money never showed up on my account I started checking it the day I got my check stub from my second job and I checked it all day long every day until I called Albert to ask them what The problem was. Alberts representative did not see the deposit either until I told them what the name of the company was and they told me to refresh the app so I shut down the app created a new password went back in and all of a sudden my secondary check showed posted but it never showed up on my debit card Albert is arguing with me that it did Im arguing with them that Im not rich enough to miss $113 in my account I even took a pay advance from Albert One day after they said my tech posted because I didnt have any money on my card and I needed it if my check had posted I would not have done in advance Albert is arguing that it was deposited they will not look any further into a problem with their app as soon as they got me angry enough to use a cuss word they cut me off and wont talk to me now and I have still not received my paycheck even though its showing now on the transaction list I sent them pictures of my transactions showing before. The secondary tech posted and then I sent them a screenshot of after I refresh the app and the secondary paycheck showed up Ive showed them everything that I can and theyre still arguing with me that my tag posted so I am now out $113. I have been banking with Albert for almost a year when they suddenly suspended my account with no valid reason April 2022. I have been contacting them since April 2022 its now August ********************************************************************** motion. Today I reach out and they tell me I recently ordered a new card it should be shipped **** business days I tell them they told me that in May but I havent received anything the Genius then says upon looking your acct has been suspended and you cant order a new card. I sent them screenshots of all the conversations being had about this issue since April 2022 and have not received a response. I sent them screenshots of the app where it says a new card has been issued but I didnt received a response. I have my employment payroll going to that card Im unable to use the acct unless I transfer my money to my other debit card through the app which charges a large fee. I have bills rent children and they say there is no number to contact only email and text message which I have sent messages between the 2 since April ********************************************************************************************************** contact with Genius.Business Response

I used to have an Albert account and closed out my savings then deleted the app and removed permission from my bank accounts. Despite this they continue charging my account. Today they charged my account 12 dollars twice. I demand a full refund for all charges!Business Response
