      I bought a monthly subscription through this company for February 2023. They were unable to give me access day one, I was told I need to wait ***** business hours to gain access. When access wasnt granted in that time an associate said they would cover costs for parking for 24 hours and I should have access in the 24 hour period, even though it was a Friday it wouldnt be a problem. The associate emailed me, and I replied with the receipts. When the 24 was over and I still didnt have access, I called, and they told me they couldnt do anything until Monday. That would have meant 6 days without access. I asked for a refund for my monthly subscription and was told I would get a call on that Monday the 6th when it was approved. I received no call, and when I called back Tuesday the 7th, they told me I needed to wait ***** business hours for the refund to process. I called back Friday the 10th, when I got a email saying I would be charged for the monthly subscription for the next month. I canceled the subscription and I was given another case number, resubmitted the receipts for where I paid out of pocket. They could give me no timetable when the refund would go through. I called the following Thursday February 16th and they finally refunded my money for the monthly parking, but not the out of pocket amount for the 24 hours they said they would cover. They said I should check back in ***** hours. When I called back, I was told because the monthly money was refunded, I hadnt spent money with the company and I wasnt going to see the money I was promised.They were vague and gave false info the whole time. Would not recommend. If you have the option, do not use this company.

      TOTAL SCAM!!! I reserved a spot in ** a month ago. Lot was full when I arrived. I called and they moved my reservation to another garage that was not at the address they sent me. There were two garages on that block and neither one had any thing to do with spot hero and they told me the address they sent me does not exist!!! I ended up parking elsewhere and when I called for a refund they said they could not give it me to me because I was calling after the check in time!! I told them I was calling late because I had to find another place to park. After many phone calls, a lot of time and arguing, I was told I would get my money back in 3-5 business days.we shall see

      Couldn't even find the lot they sold us parking permit for. Drove around half hour. Finally parked elsewhere, SpotHero promised refund. No refund. On followup, they were only willing to offer a SpotHero credit. I would never ever use them again. Scam!

      When I finished booking my parking spot, I noticed the time limit given was not going to work for me. I do not remember being given any option to select the amount of parking time I needed when booking. I tried to poke around the app and use the link in my confirmation email to try to change the 3 hour time limit. Could not do anything about it. Got a $92 ticket for going over the time by 35 minutes. I was working in the building next to the lot and could not just leave whenever I wanted. I tried to fight it and say that I tried to fix the issue but they just said "you didn't follow the rules of the lot" and to pay up. Sucks.

      I used the spothero app. I provided my license plate number and car information and followed the parking instructions. My car was towed before the time expired and spothero refused to pay for it. They said I should have parked on the 1st or 2nd floor only, but this information was nor provided in the parking instructions.

      Spothero left me with an $82 parking ticket. Their employee submitted my incorrect license plate for a relocated spot since the one I booked was full. Ive emailed their customer support and no emails have been answered. Usually they answer immediately to help in anyway they can. Im an extremely disappointed in this service and will not be using them again. The whole point is SpotHero its to help with your parking but in guess not when it involves their own mistakes.

      WARNING. Stay away from this company. We reserved a parking spot in ***** through SpotHero. Pricing was at a premium compared to what the lot reserved charged, we were charged three times the drive up rate. The parking lot was off of the beaten path from the stadium where our event was taking place. SpotHeros business practice is DECEPTIVE. As a seller, they mislead the consumer, and the misleading practice is substantial. Definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND.

      SpotHero charged me an extra $15/day because I had a Tesla. Never flagged beforehand. When I asked what the charge was for, they mentioned an oversized vehicle surcharge. After repeated emails from me saying that the car wasnt oversized they then said it was an exotic vehicle charge. Just another scam by them. I will never park with them again.

      I used the spothero app on nov 19 in ************ to reserve a spot and received an email confirmation. When I got to the lot the attendant told me they did not have any spots available. I confirmed with him that I had booked using spothero. He said oh yes, we participate but really we are first come first serve and it happens all the time. I said that they had already charged me. He stated they would give me my money back. I was charged and have yet to receive my money. I filed a dispute with my CC company and if that does not work I will file a complaint with BBB. It honestly felt like that Seinfeld episode. Why make me go through all that and end up being late for the symphony. SpotHero should vet who participates on their platform.

      Pricing is definitely at a premium compared to what the lot reserved may charge, but that is to be expected where there is a middleman. My issue is that customer support is misleading. I lost the paper ticket associated with the SpotHero reservation and called SpotHero support to resolve. They told me that if I was charged upon exiting the lot, they would "reimburse" me. Reimburse means a cash refund in my mind, but came in the form of a parking credit in the app - not the same thing if I don't plan to use the credit. Communication was responsive up until I asked for a refund to the card. The app is a convenient means to research parking availability, so do your own analysis of where time is better spent. Just don't lose your ticket.
