Today I received a survey from ******* ******** asking me about my visit. I have not been to well now and at least two or three months, so I think somebody may have use my name to be seen and I would like it looked into.Business Response

I went to Wellnow Urgent Care to get stitches at the end of November. I paid them and attached proof of my payment to you. They sent me a ********. Fine. I called then back in December where they admitted they showed my payment a day it would be taken care of. 7 months later, they turned me over to collections and have failed to solve the issue. This is inexcusable. They should be audited to see how many other people they have ****** over.Business Response

On June 28, 2023 my son, *********************, went to an appointment he had made at the ******, ** Wellnow clinic to geet a college physical. The receptionist told him that the fee was $87, which she had him pay upfront. She then advised him that the fee for a college physical is actually only $60, but it didn't matter because they don't do them there anyway. So why was he charged to begin with?? My son was told that he'd have to see his primary. At this time he asked for his money back, and he was told that they'd have to email someone because they don't know how to give refunds. He never received his money back and went back in on June 30th and on July 3rd, when he got the corporate email and the names of the people working at the ****** clinic.This needs to be resolved immediately and he needs to be given a full refund. He was made to pay for a service that they refused to perform. He has a receipt and a deduction taken off his bank card if that needs to be sent.Business Response

Hello,I arrived at this location on Saturday, June 24th. A swab test was performed. I was told to call back on Tuesday, June 27th for the results. Called Tuesday, no results, told to call on Thursday. Called Thursday, they couldnt find any test requested, said it must of have been a miscommunication. Suspect insurance fraud. Where do the swab go?????? 5 days Ive waited for test results that they say never went to the lab, because they can find no tests ordered. I want a medical error report filled out and a review of medical error practices performed at this location. How can anyone be sure of the competency of this location when a routine swab sample and lab test cant be handled properly. I want a refund on my $75 co-pay.Customer Answer

WellNow *********** ********************* charged me at point of service and charged my insurance provider following visit without including paid amount. Double charging for visit is predatory and fraudulent. I disputed point of services charges and presented insurance provider details but was directed to billing department for follow up. Billing department at WellNow does not answer calls, return voicemail or reply to email inquries. To date I have attempted to correspondence 6 times with no replies.Business Response

Every time I visit your clinics you guys s**** up the insurance. I called three days this week and sat on hold during my lunch for an hr and still couldn't get through. The act number is ******, you billed me for ******. I was in a car accident and gave the Geico No Fault Claim number you just have to bill it again the number is ****************. I took my daughter to wellnow urgent care on 5/28/23, which is an in network immediate care provider for ********** PPO. I have no copay and my deductible had been met. They confirmed my insurance for my daughter and then insisted I pay a $50 deposit towards a bill. Since its in network and I dont have a copay or remaining deductible, the bill would be $0. I would be unable to see a doctor unless I paid a deposit. They also did not give me any estimate for services, which is a new medical pricing transparency law in ********. Meanwhile claim has been paid in full by insurance (5/31/23). I owe them nothing and they have my $50. Calls and e-mails go unanswered. They simply have no billing department except to steal money. My wife visited the **************** location 12/23/21. She was not asked for payment at the time of her visit, and was told she would be billed by mail. Several months went by and no bill was received. We attempted to address in person, but were met with a sign in the door stating the office was closed due to staffing issues. I wasn't sure if this would ever be resolved until we received a bill 10 months later. The bill was paid 10/11/22 via your online portal, and a receipt was received. Even once the payment was made, my wife continued to receive bills. I called your billing support number *************) on 12/6/22 at 12:26 PM ET and was told the issue was resolved. The representative confirmed the payment had been received and I could disregard any future bills. She made it seem like there was a bookkeeping error on your side (which there clearly was).My wife still receives bills with the latest statement dated 5/13/23. She is now receiving credit collection notices as a result of your incompetence. I now have to waste my time disputing this "nonexistent" debt with the collections bureau due to an error your business is responsible for.The icing on the cake is the fact this "outstanding" balance was a measly copay after our insurance was billed. Speaking of insurance... They were billed multiple times with claims processed 2/7/22, 6/17/22, and 11/19/22. The claim from 6/17/22 references a phantom visit that supposedly occurred 6/12/22. My wife has not set foot in your clinic since 12/23/21, so this is clearly fraudulent and will be reported for investigation.Business Response
