      I had developed what I believed to be an infection in my lower left leg. I live around 1.5 miles from a WellNow urgent care center. I had remembered that that location was open until 8:00 pm. My husband drove me there and we arrived at 7:40 pm. We were quickly turned away, having been told that they were not seeing any more patients for the day. We were not asked what the medical issue was. possibly to determine the urgency of my medical issue. We were simply refused an assessment and/or treatment. When a business sets a closing time, its my understanding that they conduct business as usual until that time. I was fortunately able to find alternate medical care and my medical issue is being treated, but I will never seek treatment at a WellNow facility again, and will also discourage others not to use one of your facilities for urgent medical treatment. I am very disappointed and upset at how insensitive the staff at this specific office behaved toward me. The location address is *************************************************************. The date of my attempted visit was Monday, August 29th, 2022.

      Entered by BBB Staff - lj ******** is filing complaint for her elderly mother *************. Her mother stopped at the clinic August 3rd. She was not feeling well. Charged $40 for a Covid test. Took her insurance card and contact information. ******** left her home telephone number. They were to call with the results within 24 to 48 hours. ******** never received the results of her Covid test. ******** helped her mother through a home test. She tested positive. ******** contacted her doctor. ******** called WellNow for her mother. ******** told her mother provided an incorrect phone number. They notify people via text message. ******** did not know this or she would have provided her cell phone number. ******** gave her mothers cell phone number. She still has not received the results. Company advertises as an urgent care center. ******** feels this is false advertising. They do not have a doctor on staff. ******** contacted her mothers insurance company.
