      Made a purchase of a steering wheel. Did all of my research to ensure that I am receiving exactly what Im ordering by googling the *** number and obtaining more pictures from other auction sites. All of it to make sure that I am going to receive what I am purchasing.. was supposed to be a woodgrain steering wheel. And received an stone, gray leather one.A couple of days later received an email stating that the item on my order was not available and will be replaced with a comparable one. The one I received had not one trim of wood on it.. I paid $141 after taxes.. the non-Woodgrain steering wheels that were available when I place the original order were about $75. So I paid 141 for something that cost it 75.. I communicated my displeasure with them and they were able to give me a return code. I am being charged a fee for return returning other than defect.. when I asked for an explanation as to why I am paying and only receiving partial reimbursement. No one could give me an answer other than that is what they have listed, and what I am told I clearly explained. I paid a certain price for a very specific certain product and did not receive it. There would be no reason for me to pay more for something that cost almost half price.. on multiple other listings that they had at the same time (the replacement they sent me /all grey wheel)So now I had to pay out of pocket to ship it back to them. Their hours of operation are very unjustified to the public.. as they close at 4 Pm. I explained Im not trying to get anything other than what I paid for. But all I could get was a smug, sarcastic response. Money is tight so I went with used parts.. and now it has cost me more than it shouldve.

      I purchased a motor and transmission in December 2024 with a warranty and didnt receive my core replacements. It went bad less than a year! June of 2025 they replaced the motor and it went bad the next dayIm so upset writing this.They dont want to honor their warranty we been trying to get my money back and all the guys to is tell lies and give me the run around. Please help me I have already lost 3 weeks of work

      On 06/09/2025 I returned an engine assembly using my 90 day worry-free (what a joke) guarantee. It is now 06/24/2025 and I still have not received the refund for this return. LKQ states 7-10 business days for a return and I have patiently waited for this return. I have tried to call this company multiple times through multiple different numbers listed on the website and there is no customer ********************** support for this particular location. So there is no way to get in contact with them unless you drive to the actual location and speak to someone. I went to the location yesterday 06/23/2025 and was told to come back tomorrow and speak to ********. 2 hours of my time invested in just driving to find out that LKQ is blaming it on my bank. I reached out to my bank and was disappointed to find that they had no information on any return from LKQ. So now I'm out an engine AND $454.38.

      I just bought a $2306.81 Transmission from LKQ. On 3/3/2020, I received the transmission. Mr. ***** the mechanic, installed the transmission, but when he drove the car, he felt that the car was jerking and told me what had happened. I drove the car for two days, and the transmission no longer wanted to work.I contacted LKQ to inform them about this, and they sent me another transmission that only worked very well for three days and left me stranded on the highway, endangering my life and that of other motorists.I already paid the tow truck twice to take the car to the shop. I already paid the mechanic twice for the installation of the two defective transmissions that LKQ sent me. I have paid more than ***** for labor, fluids, and the tow truck.I need my money back. I have contacted ************************************* but they always have an excuse. If I don't contact them, they never talk to me. Please help me so that this company doesn't steal my money.

      I am rejecting this response because: Complaint #******** (I need to open the case again) Good morning, I do not agree with the decision you have made regarding closing the case, giving them preference when they LKQ tell lies to avoid returning my money. They are lying. I contacted LKQ via email, informing them that the car was at my house and that I no longer had money to pay for a tow truck to take the car to the mechanic's shop. Mr. ****** told me that he had canceled the warranty because the car was not in the shop, but I had already told them that I no longer had money to take the car to the shop because they did not come to my house to check it. What happens is that they want time to pass so that the warranty expires and steal my money with that excuse. I also want to inform you that Mr. ***** the mechanic at the shop, never received any calls. I contacted Mr. **** and he told me that no one had contacted him. Since the 2018 **** Focus was no longer working, the transmission had to be sold for $2,300 because I didn't have a car to go to work. I contacted LKQ by phone and email to customer *********************** but there was never any response. Now I told the new owner about the problem with the car, that the transmission didn't work. The new owner told me that he was going to buy a new transmission. I no longer had money to pay for the third installation, so I decided to sell the car for $2,300. LKQ wants to steal my money. The two transmissions they sent were no good. They sent me two defective transmissions. I think they never checked them to see if they worked or not. Please help me so that these people don't steal my money. They are pure false excuses to avoid returning my money. As I repeat, I paid the mechanic more than a thousand dollars in labor for the first transmission and another thousand for the second defective transmission. The transmissions only worked for about a week.

      called LKQ on May 28, 2025 ordered a rear sub frame through ****** for $408.36, was told it was free shipping and return policy in place. My car apparently had more problems then i knew of so with LKQ company policy in place of return payment between 0-30 days is covered through your company and after receiving only $88.36 paid back into my bank acct on June 15, 2025 isn't what you claim or stand for...I also never accepted order nor was delivered to my residence so no restock fee and your companies policy I shouldn't be having this problem since your companies own person whom I dealt with never once mentioned a restocking fee...

      Literally drove 12 hours up to look for a couple used ********* ***** 6's that fit what I needed. I called customer ********************** beforehand to confirm the center dome light/sunglasses holder WITHOUT sunroof controls would be $17.02. When I got to the location, I spoke to the entry cashier, this older lady who also confirmed the pricing of the center dome light. I also told her I had my marker light harness pulled FROM MY VEHICLE to check the wiring would be the exact fit. My specific harness was corroded as the car originated from **. I found the parts I needed along with the dash vents. However when I got to the checkout, the guy was like sure $17 sounds about right, but then proceeded to upcharge me $32 for the part by lying and saying I was buying the whole center console. The center console is the middle part that you rest your arm on. Perhaps the people here need a refresher course on inventory names. On top of that, I was forced to pay for my own wiring harness that I literally announced I was bringing in. He demanded I pay $16 for a harness that was mine. I did not want to make a bigger deal and ended up telling him to keep my harness and paid for the two dash vents and "CENTER CONSOLE". I also asked for a bandaid as I cut my finger despite wearing gloves while working. He said he didn't have any yet I was charged an Environmental fee that clearly states the environment would be safe. I demand restitution for the upcharge of the center dome light. As for the harness, I already paid for a replacement at another place. But that's time and money I lost having to deal with you guys.

      06/14/23 had transmission replaced with lkq service *****May of 2025 transmission broken, covered under 3 year unlimited mile warrenty.I brought the truck to *********** Transmission since lkq service ***** has closed. Warranty ***** sent out a replacement transmission that is defective. My mechanic says it shifts very too soft, and will break quickly, and is a bad transmission. I called lkq to explain the situation, met with terrible customer **********************, explaining that they will not pay labor for the bad transmission install beyond $50/hr warrenty coverage. Their "remedy" for the situation is to open a new claim and charge me for an upgraded Road Ripper transmission.I'm fine with the upgraded transmission, but I should not have to pay the labor for my shop to put in their defective unit. This ordeal has cost me time already, there's no way I should have to pay for their defective unit to be installed.Brooksville Transmission said they have a similar customer who went through this process with 5 defective transmissions from lkq warranty claims, and they are charging him for each defective unit install.The warranty is useless, and the customer ********************** is non existent (except for ***** and ****** who have customer ********************** and compassion, but are otherwise bound by a broken and crooked system). Bottom line, this company will sell you faulty parts, and when you use the warranty they send more faulty parts, and they will NOT stand behind their product or reputation. Save yourself the time, money, and aggrevation and go with a reputable company who cares about their customers. To ********************, you are just a number in a corrupt system of peddling defective goods.

      I am rejecting this response because: Ray, the manager at LKQ Crystal River, reached out to tell me they would not cover the installation of their broken defective transmission beyond the $50/hr labor rate.  He said the unit qualifies for a brand new warrenty claim, acknowledges that the last unit was defective, and still says "the good news is well cover $50/hr on that install, since it's two warranties instead of just one". He knows the truck never left the shop, the transmission they sent for the first warrenty was broken, he agrees it was broken, still trying to spin the $50/hr as a benefit and refuses to pay the labor on defective part install. I have no faith in the ethics of anyone at that branch, and it's impossible to get ahold of anyone at corporate office, so I reject your half hearted, cut and paste response.

      I ordered a quarter panel mounted taillight for 2017 KIA ********* I would usually pick up at *****************. Sales representative said we will ship it. Was not thinking there would be shipping cost, would rather pick up myself. I have always had a good customer experience with ********************** in the past. This time it was awful. Received the part, it was wrong. Called got the run around. Final spoke to someone and said I would have to return to warehouse. Went to warehouse and there is no longer a sales counter, so went to warehouse shipping door. Warehouse manger was very polite and was kind enough to take the light and issue credit. Said I should see in 5-7 business days. Did not get credit. Called and was told credit was not in system to be processed. Said they would call warehouse and verify. Verified return and said I should get credit in 5-7 days. Did not get credit. Called again, was told they would have to get with accounting. Was told would get credit in a few days. Received credit minus *****. Called, stated it was restocking fee. I said that it was the wrong that I pay fee for part that was incorrect. Invoice was correct. Part did not match invoice. She said it was because it was noted that I said I returned because I no longer needed, not true. I asked to have calls pulled, because this was not true. Asked for manger, not an option I was told. Was told that they would pull call records and call me back. I am not confident this will be resolved or will require more time on to resolve. I have already spent too much time trying to resolve something that should have been taken care of. Would like a call from someone who can remedy.

      On Sept 21st, my engine was blown due to negiligence by Take 5. They purchased an engine from LKQ. Take 5 worked on my car until December 28th. On December 29th, I got my car back. On January 18th, my serpentine belt shredded on a remote road on my way home from work. The car was towed to Dannys Auto in ********* and the vehicle repaired. On May 21st, anothe belt snapped on the car and I know have $1500 in fees to fix the engine. LKQ would not return any of my calls to obtain a status on my claim. I had to make multiple calls to LKQ to finally get someone to tell me that they would not approve the claim. I DO NOT understand a vehicle has two belts snap within a 4 month period on a newly installed engine. I NEVER WANTED to be put in this situation and LKQ does not want to help.1. Their customer ********************** is extremely poor.2. Their employees are very abrupt on the phones.3. They do not provide you with any documentation for the policy they have issued or any of their updates.I want my car fixed and I feel that they are responsible for the engine they have provided.IF YOU HAVE A CHOICE, DO NOT USE LKQ!!!!
