      Ive been with scu since 2018, and sadly Im very disappointed in the service and treatment Ive received . I had a negative 200 balance that was about 30 days overdrawn. I was able to get it taken care of in time and was told my account will go back in good standing and I can use my card again after the overnight process. I waited the next day an my card still declined. They stated they expedited my card to my address , but couldnt give me a tracking number .I need the remaining of my money and I cant access it.

      I got a auto loan with scott credit union back in 2017 never missed a payment it was paid off on time. Went to get another loan today I was denied my past history with them didn't matter just one account on my ********************** was bad goes to show you pay your payment on time with them but it doesn't matter I'm medically retired Army an that didn't matter nether!!!!!

      Like banking with them, have used them for years, but they keep blocking my debit card and not calling me or emailing me like they're supposed to. It's bad enough they Block my bills or restaurant usage. They blocked me again tonight after I ordered from the local subway. It's after hours. What if I needed gas to get home and I was stranded somewhere? They're making it dangerous for me to continue banking with them. I am going to have to find another bank that is more reasonable.

      Id give my recent experience a-ZERO! We live 1000 miles away from any branch office. I have transferred money into *** from my local CU many times, the last time was less than 30 days ago. Today I found out that they no longer do this. I couldnt even make a deposit with an ATM! I called *** and the young lady FIRST told me to set up a pop money under **** Pay (which ONLY transfers money FROM ******* need to transfer money INTO ***. Then she said were getting a new system the end of the month. She then said you can mail it in or you can do a wire transfer for $20 from your bank.I went back to my local CU and paid for a wire transfer. I pray it gets deposited before any overdrafts. Weve been members of *** since 2000. For the last 13 years, weve lived out of the region and have had great service considering we live out of the region. This is completely unacceptable There was ABSOLUTELY NO WARNING about this change went out to their customers who are out of the region.

      I used to love this bank. Friendly customer service, helpful no matter what the issue, but lately they are falling off. No matter how debits come in, they charge off larger amounts and then charge overdrafts on the remaining charges which results in quite a few charges. And the biggest issue. My account was hacked and I closed the account as suggested and opened a new except I could not get a debit card at any branch. Said they were out of ink and could not print them! So I had no access to my money except to withdraw cash. This lasted for at least three business days.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused while the debit card printer was temporarily out of service at your preferred location. In review of our systems, the items in question posted in settlement order based on the date and time received from the processing network. The transactions were not processed based on dollar amounts. All fees due to the account compromise have been refunded. Thank you for choosing Scott Credit Union.

      TLDR: Scott Credit Union messed up rolling over my auto loan, and now my credit score dropped from 809 to 651...A car dealership used the wrong VIN for a car purchase in August. It was caught in December and I re-did the purchase paperwork at the dealership. Scott Credit Union rolled over the balance of the loan to a new loan in January. I was paid ahead by thousands of dollars and had a consistent record of paying on the loan (The car loan was $10K for 48-months in August, and I owed less than $4K when they rolled over the loan in January).When Scott Credit Union rolled over the loan, they marked that the old loan was 120+ days late and then closed the loan... even though I was paid way ahead of schedule. Because of this, my credit score instantly dropped over 150 points! Scott Credit Union agreed that an "error" in their system caused this problem, and they reportedly submitted a correction on 2/5/2024. However, based on what I've seen change on my credit report, they just removed their previous comment stating "120+ days late" but not the closed account's status (that also erroneously states it was closed while ******* days late). I've called multiple times without answers, and have not received responses to any voicemail.In the meantime, I've had my disputes at 2 of the credit agencies "verified as accurate" and closed. I've had to have multiple phone conversations to explain the situation and get new disputes submitted just this week. Scott Credit Union has done almost nothing to resolve the issue despite their bank submitting fraudulent information into my credit report. Whether this was a just an accident or not, I'd hope that they would do more to fix their mistake... or at least answer the phone once in a while.

      They are constantly charging me $27 fee at least 10 times a year. I have some bills that comes out on a certain due date they pulled my money out and pay the bill before the due date sometime and sometime after the due date, I have screenshots of my money being pulled out on different dates so that I can go into negative in my account just to pay the $27 fee for not having it . I shouldnt have to pay the fees if theyre not gonna pull my money out when they get ready to. I am so tired of this Bank. I am really thinking about banking with someone else. Its just I havent had the time because I have so many bills coming out weekly and then I have to switch over and thats a headache.

      Such a headache having them as youre auto loan provider. Cant pay over the phone without a $15 fee. Cant pay online with another banking institution. Stay away from Scott credit union. Such a joke. Cant believe the St. ***** blues are associated with this terrible company.
