If I could give zero stars I would. I just received an outrageous bill from a hospital transfer last month. I do not understand how they justify charging over $7000 for a 6 minute ambulance ride from one hospital to another. I was not given a choice in the matter, if I wanted my procedure done, I had to be transferred. The fact that they can charge these ridiculous amounts needs to be looked into.

Minus 5 star rating. This is a case for the "No Surprise Act of 2022" and these people need to be shut down. Transferred from one hospital to another, no choice in carriers. Two bumbling EMT came, didn't know what they were doing. Should have refused the ride in hindsight. Nearly 10K for the ride. Many charges added to the bill. My insurance paid nearly $900.00 and asked them to write off the rest. I got a bill for the first time 4 months later. I have called 7 times to reach out to them about this bill. On hold for one hour 10 minutes with no operator contact. Five of the times, I left my number in the queue to be called back. Never a call, nothing. I sent email after email to reach out to someone. Using the email address they sent on the first bill. I have sent many emails to this point and still have never been called or emailed concerning the bill. Today, in the mail, these b******* sent the bill to collections. I tried for 4 months to speak to someone from this company to work this out, only to have no returned call or email, but instead to be sent to collections. Steer clear of these people and company, they are poorly staffed and zero customer **********************.

My son had to be transported from **************** ********* to ***************** ********* ** which is 11 miles. They charged us 19 miles for $4000 .I went to in-network hospital of **************** but the "ambulance service" charge ** out-of-network.**************** refused to transfer kid on our own although his condition was stable. The Alexian staff said only its ambulance will do transfer.Superior Ambulance is basically a collection agency on a facade of ambulance service. If you ****** the profile of some of staff then they have only prior experience of bartenders.I tried to resolve matter with them but they are souless rock or even worse.

My son had to be transported from one hospital to another after a difficult delivery. I was forced to follow behind in a second ambulance in order to go with him despite not needing an ambulance myself. We were charged an outrageous 13k for the two trips and told they wouldn't participate with our insurance, BCBS of MI. Their ambulance service itself was fine but billing practices are downright criminal.

Monstrous. Sending claims to collections after insurance has paid them in full. WHEN they get sick and karma bites them hard, this is why.

Was transported 7.6 miles and overcharged. Bill was ********! I sent to bill to insurance to be negotiated and they continued to send bills and threaten collection. After the bill was paid and negotiated by insurance they still continue to try and bill me. This is predatory in bill collection and vastly overcharging. And they will try to bill you even after insurance has paid the bill!!!

Zero star rating - I was transferred from one hospital to another, which was less than 1/2 mile away. To my surprise, I was balance billed a total of almost $ *****! When I contacted Superior they said this amount was due to my insurance carrier not being "in their network". They offered for me to pay a one time payment of $4,000 or an 18 month payment plan which would be an addition $700 for a total of $6700.Insane. I tried to set up a fair payment plan at a reduced total bill, but they did not accept. Do Not knowingly use Superior Ambulance without first finding out the costs before hand.

They charged $6000.00 to transport me a a half mile and then over $2500.00 to transport me to another facility which I didn't request and was not given a choice. The total bill was $9770.00. If I could, I would leave a -5 star review. I feel they are price gauging taking advantage of people during the most scary time in their life. We have no choice in an emergency when we call 911 who we get, and it's just wrong

Beware of being transported from the ** to home! Its not covered by ********* I knew that and told the nurse that I would be billed but she insisted on me using the ambulance to return home. My plan was to take an Uber. A five minute ride from my home and I was billed $1866.00. Of course ******** denied the claim, as it was non-emergent. But I was told by the hospital liaison that upon reviewing my chart ambulance was ordered because my walking was unstable. Who knew I should have just left the hospital AMA.
