AVOID THIS SHOP AT ALL COSTS!!! This has been an absolute c*** show! I would have given them a zero star if possible. No follow up. Nothing but the run around from day one. We are 7 weeks later and I still do not even know what the STATUS is of my vehicle. They promised updates on Tuesdays and Thursdays. That has not happened one single time. The only time we get an update is when I show up to the shop in person and even then, they are updates like "we've ordered the parts" or "we are waiting on a special part" ... Haven't seen any pictures of updates. Haven't seen the vehicle since we dropped it off. After showing up they promise the completion of the vehicle "early next week." Well, I've now heard this for the past 4 weeks. Gerber Collision & Glass needs to be shut down.Gerber Collision & Glass Headquarters

****, very unprofessional I possess extensive experience in the automotive repair process, including my tenure at Gerber. The repairs performed on my vehicle lacked both pre- and post-repair quality control checks, resulting in significantly more damage than originally present. The substandard workmanship included paint imperfections (e.g., dirt nibs, orange peel, runs), damage to aftermarket wheels, and missing emblems. Furthermore, the referral to a third-party vendor for radio repair resulted in an unacceptable and inflated quote of $1800. Incomplete interior installation persists, despite repeated attempts to rectify the issues over the past year. The overwhelming negative customer feedback, as evidenced by numerous one-star reviews, raises serious concerns regarding the collision center's competence. Finally, the management's uncooperative and discourteous response to complaints is unacceptable.Gerber Collision & Glass Headquarters

1 starTerrible company! They do decent body work, albeit slowly, but then they hold your car for 7-10 additional days waiting on a final (3rd party) technician). They have an ********** Rental agency next door, and this all done so that customers needing to rent a car pays for WAAYY many more days than they should.Review fromGilberto R

I called the number off of my insurance's information. At the time my car was still drivable and they set an appointment for me the next day, come the next day and I get a phone call from my local shop saying that they double booked me and I would need to schedule 2 weeks out. Today, when I went to take my car, it wouldn't start. So I called the shop and they informed me (just now) that they have no space for tow in's. If Gerber hadn't doubled booked me I would've been able to go to a different shop sooner. They completely wasted my time and I have to scramble to find another shop that might take my car. My biggest complaint is the double scheduling, I don't know if it's the Gerber headquarters fault or my local shops fault (the local shop informed me that I reached a call center that didn't have access to their personal schedule) but it should be addressed to avoid other experiences like this one.Gerber Collision & Glass Headquarters

I towed my vehicle here after being in an accident on the 28th they took my vehicle and and declared it a total loss due to not having the parts in the inventory or the parts no longer sale they intentionally cut my exhaust system because I am a mechanic and I know obviously the services could not get done because the insurance was taking their time and have my vehicle for about 4 weeks and nothing was being done my vehicle was just sitting here when I went to pick my vehicle up and told them that I did not want the services they said I had to pay a tow fee I paid the tow fee and as I am driving up the road my whole muffler falls off I attempt to climb under the car and put the muffler back up and it burned my hand my muffler was just fine before they touched it I was sideswiped in an accident the mufflers was fine when I went to pick it up everything fell off in the middle of ******** this is not their first time with this type of stuff there's all type of ****** reviews of them doing this to people it needs to stop I will be calling news for a call for actionGerber Collision & Glass Headquarters

We took our car to the Gerber location at ***************************** for repair after a collision. Gerber told us that ****************** had waived the $1,000 deductible. Both the original estimate and final bill we received from Gerber show $0.00 deductible. Now a month later, Gerber is demanding payment. Of course, we will pay it, but are extremely unhappy. Gerber and Hartford unapologetically point fingers at each other, saying it was "an unfortunate miscommunication". We also found recently that the headlights on our car are seriously misaligned and will have Gerber fix them. We'll look elsewhere next time we need a body shop.Gerber Collision & Glass Headquarters

If I could give a ZERO I would honestly and seeing how many negative reviews and complaints are given about A FEW of your shops Id look into the management of these shops the only DECENT one is the one siegen. ******** location is ********. And the GENERAL MANAGER ************* even worse. The unprofessionalism is unreal to customers AND employees. He takes his anger and frustration out on everyone and is constantly telling employees if you dont like my attitude quit if you dont do my work quit and thats only the small issues Ive heard whilst being there as a customer. I would suggest looking into that before I take the more serious matter to COURT! Since the company does not want to handle it I WILL!Gerber Collision & Glass Headquarters

Took my 2021 ******* ***** fe calligraphy to the ********* Ny location only because ************** forced us to go there. They told us from the start the paint may not match. That was a red flag to me. Spragues collision down the street repaired and they matched it with no problem. Lo and behold when we went to pick it up it didnt match. It wasnt slightly off it was night and day different. I refused to take it and made them re paint it. They got it vary close but not perfect. At the end of the day they should have never tried to return it to me looking the way it did. I would never recommend them. DO NOT USE THIS SHOP-zero stars! I took my car in to the ******* location (chosen from the ******** list of recommended body shops) for repairs to the right front passenger door of my car - which is 2 years old and was in perfect condition (besides the new dent that needed to be fixed). When I was told it was ready & I picked it up, which was at the end of the day on a Friday, I took care of the paperwork and was sent on my way. I was not shown my car before I left - I wish I had looked at it! While driving home I noticed a white substance all over the inside of the windshield! As I looked around I saw it all over the INTERIOR of my car in random places. When I got home & parked I saw that it was literally all over the car - in the back seat, on the inside of all of the windows, the dashboard, the speedometer display, inside the air vents! On the floor boards, inside all of the door jams, in the cup holders, inside the tiny circular sound system holes! I was unbelievably upset! I called Gerber before they closed that day to find out what happened. The manager said he had no idea but I could bring it back *************** take care of it. When I took it back, he looked at it & said it was nothing that could have happened there! He said "maybe you don't remember it being like this when you brought it in"!! He did try to clean it off, acting like he was doing me a favor! It was absolutely NOT like that when I brought it in!! He had to use a razor blade to get whatever it is off the windshield. I asked to speak with the worker who did the repair-to the door-to try to find out what happened & the manager wouldn't do that. I left after an hour, still not knowing what happened & it STILL not being right. The next day, the white stuff was back on all of the places he wiped it off from! I have no idea what it is or how to get it cleaned! I will not go back there. I wish I NEVER took my car there. They did not do a great job fixing the dent, they ruined my car, and they lied!!Gerber Collision & Glass Headquarters
