  I purchased a car the beginning of July.. I was notified when purchasing the car that they were going to be looking at it, as the ** was not working. Start of the conversation, if something major was wrong with the car they were not going to sell it to me. Well end of sale, they come back and stated they don't know what is wrong with it and bring it back to be serviced and they were going to fix it.After 2 weeks, I still do not have the vehicle. It needed several parts that were needed to be ordered. I never received communication about the vehicle, it was moved to another dealership twice to be fixed, never notified. I would call for an update and would never get a sold answer from the service department or the *** the ** never even called back. The communication is awful and I would never recommend buying a car from there.They felt they were helpful by giving me a loner car and it would make it all better for everything, try being upfront and transparent and not like calling for an update is an inconvenience.

  DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT BUY FROM TOYOTA OF FOX LAKE!!! This dealership has VERY DECEPTIVE business practices. I drove 90 minutes with my daughter to look at a used car advertised on their website. We arrived, did a test drive and were ready to buy her first car on the spot. We sat down to talk price and I made an offer for the car. The sales person went to speak to the manager and we waited. After a few minutes the sales manager came back and presented the paper work and the the price of the car went up by more than $5K. The price went up by 1/3 of the price of the car advertised on the website. He explained the additional costs were for vin etching ($300) and a protection plan ($5K). I politely declined both and he told me that I could not decline these additions, the dealership required they be purchased. WHAT??? I told him that if the costs are not optional that they should be included in the advertised price of the car. I told him the dealership was practicing false advertising, which is illegal. The sales manager became visibly angry and told me that people in ******** like to pay these additional costs to ensure that their cars are protected and that people from the town I traveled from must not understand that. I couldn't believe the tone and disrespect the sales manager showed me and my daughter in that moment. UNBELIEVABLE! And then, during our 90-minute drive home when we went to read the fine print on the website we saw that the price of the car on the website went up by $5K. Interesting, don't you think! Like I said, false advertising. I was ready to pay cash on the spot for my daughter's first car and instead we were treated in a way I have never experienced before. Without question, the worst potential car buying experience in my life. Toyota should shut this dealership down for its shady business practices and the way they treat customers. I will NEVER recommend this dealership to anyone. NEVER!

  Awful place of business. Would not recommend salesman ************ to my worst enemy! Still can't get ahold of him, despite calling every day regarding an urgent issue caused by the dealership.

  Picked up a 2018 Silverado **** from Fox Lake Toyota. *************************, the manager ***, and the rest of staff were great and we had smooth experience. They were willing to work with me on my wants and needs and get me into a great vehicle.

  Very friendly and willing to work with me and my limited time in town due to having to go back to ************** for work. Was willing to bring down the price for the car too and threw in some extra services for free. Very pleased with my visit and buy here. Definitely will recommend someone looking for a car to come here!
