      After 20 plus years of paying Sears for two protection agreements for central air units, most recently $1500/year, to remain compliant and trying to get them to come for the yearly maintenance, they did not show up and provided no notice, waited to reschedule, the tech that came did not do the check up correctly. When we called the department, they agreed and said we needed to have it done correctly. Another wait, and today was the scheduled day. After multiple emails and texts confirming, again they texted that they are not coming. I requested a refund for the agreement and they are prorating it to $124.

      Its been a month and my washer is still not fixed. They didnt tell me that I needed to contact them when the part got to my house. They told me the part was back ordered I looked online. It was readily available. They told me I could look for a cancellation online seems to me that would be their job. I think a month for a washer repair is outlandish. if I could give no stars, I would.

      i was trying to order the part tht goes on the bottom of the airconditioner hose that atteches to the back of the portable ac unit and the sold me the wrong part twice and said the second time they said they were 100% sure it was the right part and for the second time it was the wrong part now i have to return both parts for a refund instead of telling me theyjust dont have it.. it is bad customer and i just want people to be aware of this relations

      Do not buy Sears Home Warranty, it's a pure scam. They do not fix any appliances. They will charge a $100 service call fee and ask you to place an order for replacement on ************************** but appliance never arrives. Upon calling customer service, they give you the run around. I've been waiting 8 weeks for my appliance that they have collected the money but have not delivered.

      Had an Appointment for June 30, 2025 to repair a refrigerator. Tech re-scheduled to July 10, 2025, wihout any notification. Did not show up on July 10, and had to reschedule to July 28, 2025. This is ******************** to a paid service!

      Wow, how can these crooks stay in business. Using them through my home warranty company. The give a 9 hour window to show and first 2 appointments were canceled at the 8 hour 45 minute ***** The second time the automatically scheduled the next day, we were unavailable and rescheduled for the following day. They showed up!!! Now scheduled for tomorrow, There is terrible communication to get to sears, no number to dispatch, everything is centralized. Will see if they show tomorrow?

      I have sent a letter explaining my unhappiness with Sears repair ***** I am going to ask my attorney to get in touch with the ***** of labor because this has to do with an employee not doing his job correctly the first time causing me to pay out of pocket for parts that should have been replaced the first time instead of waiting until the third visit to fix the same problem (which was dryer not coming on) which was resolved by a second *********** please respond within one week otherwise I will ask my Attorney to get in touch with your business. I am directly this letter to BBB and the Sears repairs because i got a response via email stating that they would not be reimbursing me for the parts which could have been avoided the first time while my master plan was still in effect back in April 2025. thanks, *****

      HORRIBLE NEVER ON TIME NO INFO WHEN WILL BE HERE WAIT ALL DAY DAY NO PAY AND STILL NOT HERE. DO NOT FIX WHAT IS BROKREN ANOTHER DAY WITHOUT PAY FOR THEM TO COME BACK 2 WEEKS LATER. TOTAL 1 MONTH NO AC. HAVE 83 YEAR OLD IN HOTEL @ 150 A DAY AND SEARS COULD GIVE 2 CRAPPERS ABOUT ME. JOB INTERVIEW MISSED BECAUSE OF OVER SCHEDULING, *** TODAY TOTAL OF 12 HOURS WAITING STILL NO SHOW. HORRIBLE!!! HORRIBLE SERVICE. DO NOT USE

      First waited for 3 weeks to have my AC fixed. 3 days prior I kept receiving confirmations and I did agree several times. The morning of I had a window from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Around 3:30 I called to check because I haven't heard anything and was told that I was canceled but my home warranty had to tell me that not Sears. Did not contact me it's Day 3 nothing. Not able to contact anyone no one takes responsibility, the worst.

      If I could leave a zero star review, I would. We made the mistake of buying the warranty at the suggestion of a repairman who came to work on the freezer part of our refrigerator. (Makes me wonder if he got a kickback.) We have had the same experience as many of those who already left reviews. Company did fine the first few months. I think this was to draw you in more and create a false sense of having a good warranty. However, when we kept having problems with the freezer not freezing then the refrigerator starting to fail in keeping things cold, we got the runaround. They would schedule appt then cancel via text on the day of appt. Message was always the same - technician is not available. They did this 5 times from May 6 to June 30. They stretch it out with rescheduled appts so they can continue to get the monthly payments. When you call & you are lucky enough to get a person, you get the runaround. No supervisor available to help. When my husband asked them to authorize payment of a new refrigerator, they said they could not do that until technician says refrigerator is not repairable. Husband asked how that could be done when technician never shows up. We finally had to buy a new refrigerator. I called to cancel warranty & was told we would have to pay $229 to cancel. This was for the discount we had received in the beginning and parts for which they had parts. It was cheaper to let them charge another months payment. I did cancel the auto renew. We cancelled warranty and will be filing suit in small claims court to try and recover most of the money we spent on this WORTHLESS appliance warranty. Our advice is DO NOT BUY THIS WARRANTY!!! IT IS A BIG RIP OFF!!!!!
