I purchased a Power Smart lawn mower from ***********************) on 4/15/23. I tried to use the brand new lawn mower for the first time on 4/21/23. It would not work. I tried to return the never used lawn mower to Menards but they wouldn't let me because I put gas in it (which makes no sense). They told me I had to deal with Power Smart directly. I have called them multiple times and sat on hold for an hour each time. Once an hour goes by, you are sent to a vm. I have left vm's, sent them emails and messages on fb. I got a fb message from them saying they got my negative review on fb. That's it - no one has ever called me or emailed me. Menards is no help as they don't accept phone calls. I sent them a fax and they responded by letter saying they cannot help me because I put gas in the mower so they consider it used. I want my $ ****** back that I paid for this junk lawn mower.Initial Complaint

I purchased a lawnmower from Powersmart in ****** this past April 24, 2023. It was delivered on time through Amazon.The *********** fine, but I need 3 replacement parts, including a lower handle which broke. I can't mow the yard without that handle.I purchased a warranty but I'm not asking for free replacement, as it was my fault the handle broke. I've tried looking for parts online but can find no pages listing parts for that mower. I've tried calling the company several times. I'm put on hold every time and the call is either disconnected after a few minutes or I'm on hold for an hour and then asked to leave a message, depending on which number I call.I've emailed several times for help and gotten this automated message, but no other response: "Thanks for your submission Hi, we are getting your submission. We will get back to you shortly."I contacted them via ******** Messenger and got a similar automated reply: "Here is PowerSmart.What can I do for you?" but no other response.I've gone to their ******** page and found numerous comments from customers saying they need parts but no one from Powersmart replies.I've contacted local repair shops which say they don't service that company or stock their parts, and that they've heard similar complaints about Powersmart from their customers.Although it would be a 9 hour roundtrip, I'd be willing to drive to their HQ to get the handle and other parts I need 1) I shouldn't have to and 2) I'm not even sure they'll be there.I'll need to mow the lawn again in **** days, and if I can't at least get the handle, I'll have to buy another mower.Can you help?Initial Complaint

I purchased a powersmart lawnmower from Menards online on 4/15/23, picked it up on 4/21,23. I have never been able to register it because when I hit submit the wheel just spins and never goes any further. I used it 2 times and on the 3rd time it started spewing gas everywhere. I looked up the warranty and it says it has to be taken to a service center. But in order for them to work on it, the product needs to be registered. I have attempted to contact powersmart through emails and phone calls multiple times and no one even responds or answers, just like their registration process, nothing works.Initial Complaint

PowerSmart won't respond when trying to contact them about a lawnmower warranty. Have sent several e-mails to PowerSmart, used the 'contact us' section of their website, and attempted to call them by phone. The attempts have been ignored for over a week and phone calls sit on hold for hours before ringing in for minutes then returning to being on hold without connecting. After failing to contact PowerSmart I've contacted ******* and they said to file a dispute with the bank. Talked to the bank and they said to either take it back to ******* or contact the BBB.Bought the PowerSmart lawnmower from ******* August of last year. Bought belts to replace worn/broken belts this month from PowerSmart. After replacing the belts, the drive assembly, which is made with a plastic pulley wheel, partially shattered sending shrapnel into the new belts. PowerSmart does not sell the pulley or the full drive assembly on their website, so the only way to fix it is through the warranty.At this point I would like to just get my money back and stay away from this company. If it does get fixed I don't trust them to honor their warranty in the future if something breaks again. Newer reviews of the lawnmower have similar experiences with PowerSmart customer support.Initial Complaint

Recently purchased NEW mower (EN 21" 3-IN-1 GAS PUSH LAWN MOWER). I was not happy as I was mowing the back yard, going back and forth, and suddenly it sounded like I had ran over something. After the mower stopped running, I lifted the front up to find that the Rubber Baffle, Part #*********B, that WAS attached to the mower had broken off and was shredded by the mower. This should never have happened as this was the first time I had mowed with this mower. It appears as if the Rubber Baffle was either attached incorrectly at the factory, or was too long to start with. Soooo... I sent an email on 09 April 2023 letting company know of my lawnmower issue. I received a reply on 18 April 2023. I emailed the requested information on 24 April 2023. I STILL have not gotten a reply OR my replacement parts. I have now been on hold for over 15 minutes after calling the Customer Support Phone - **************. Each time I call, I am CONVENIENTLY DISCONNECTED while I am on hold. I would like a representative to call me or at LEAST reply back to my email so as I may get my replacement part BEFORE winter sets in.Initial Complaint

Tried calling and emailing numerous times for weeks about my manufactures warranty on the said companies product I have purchased. This is for a replacement or even repair. Have a newer electric mower that needs a replacement part. I have been to several small engine parts service departments. Nobody can get parts for this brand. The service men and I have made several calls to both fone number listed on PowerSmart's website. The best response any of us got was to be put on hold forever. In November of 2022 my wife purchased a PowerSmart 209CC Engine 21 3-in-1 Gas Powered Push Lawn Mower. A couple of weeks ago while using it the pack left tire, which is plastics, broke off of ********. The manual for this mower says it comes with a 3 year warranty so I attempted to contact the company. I called twice and was on hold both times for over an hour without anyone answering. I also tried emailing the company to make a warranty claim, but no one has called me back. I purchased a PowerSmart DB2194SR 21" 3-in-1 170cc Gas Self Propelled Lawn Mower from ******* approximately a year ago. There were immediate problems, such a large puff of white smoke coming out of the lawnmower when I went up a slight hill. Lately, the cord that controls the self propelled mechanism broke and I believe there is a gas leak based on the smell in our garage. I contacted the customer service number (it has a 3 year warranty) multiple times and nobody answered after an hour on hold (it went to a voicemail after an hour). I messaged them through ******** Messenger and they stated that I had to go through customer service and when I told them I already tried, they never responded.I would like to lawnmower to be completely fixed under the warranty or have them return the $295.74 I spent for it.
