I purchased two electric blankets one queen one king. I called the computer because y blankets are not working properly.The African American lady on the phone offered to sell me blankets for $140 each saying Biddeford s out of business and they dont warranty. I purchased a Biddeford twin-size heated quilted mattress pad from ****** in November 2023 priced $109.99 that states there is a five-year warranty on this product. The controller is now malfunctioning showing "E" (error code), and I've been trying to reach Biddeford to get it replaced. I called the phone number that came with the mattress pad as their customer service number ***************) and was told by a lady named ****** that they have nothing to do with Biddeford. Then I tried another number listed on their website *************) that is no longer in service. I proceeded to complete a complaint form and emailed it March 18, 2025. When I didn't hear back, I emailed it again on March 29. To date I have not received any communication back from Biddeford.Initial Complaint

On 2/6/2025, I ordered an electric blanket through the Biddeford website. My credit card was charged, and the charge shows up on the statement as NETGENPRODUCT. The charge went through on 2/7/2025. On 2/8/2025 I received an email from no-reply-aws@trackingorderonline stating that my order is on its way. It stated that I could track my order to see delivery status, and it gave me a tracking number. The tracking number: FM25613467588415. The email said that if I had any questions, I could reply to the email or contact the company at **************************** I tracked my order several times, and on 2/22/2025 it showed that the order was at a warehouse in *******, **, the city where I live. I was expecting the order to come within 2 days. When nothing arrived by 2/23/2025 I sent an email to *************************** inquiring about delivery. Later that same day, I received a response stating the following: "The goods have been sent, please check the email we sent you". The reply came from *****************************************. I responded to the email stating that I had used the tracking number, which showed the order was in a ******* facility as of 2/22/2025. I asked for an explanation as to why the delivery was taking so long and when the product would be delivered. The email was bounced back to me as undeliverable and showing a permanent error. On 2/25/2025 I emailed the email address provided on Biddeford's website, which is the only method provided for contacting the company. I asked when I could expect delivery of the blanket, and the email bounced back as undeliverable. I checked Yelp, and from what I read there the company has gone out of business. Since my order went through even though the company no longer is operational, someone must be monitoring the website and taking money for orders that cannot be fulfilled. I am asking that the Better Business Bureau get the website shut down before more customers are scammed out of money for goods they won't receive.Initial Complaint

I purchased a Deluxe Quilted Heated Mattress Pad with Digital Controller on November 2nd, 2023. I registered my Heated mattress pad on 11-6-23. This product has a 5 year Warranty. I had great difficulty registering it and had to file with the Better Business Bureau. A person from Biddeford contacted me and registered my product over the phone on 11-06-23. Her name is ***** at ************. Current situation... The digital Controller is illuminated but it is reading "E". According to the user manual,"E stands for *****....CAUTION! Do not attempt to operate your product if you are getting repeated ***** messages. Disconnect the product and contact Customer Support. ..To check, turn off the product and unplug it from the wall outlet. Then check the bedding connector to make sure that they are firmly secured. Next, plug the power cord back in the wall outlet and turn the product on. If the ***** message returns unplug the power cord and contact Customer Support"I attempted to contact Customer Support from the phone # on the User manual and the original box and the phone #************** appears to be a some sort of Fraud. On December 19 I made an order on the *************************************************. After entering my payment information, the site redirected to an "error" page. I was charged, but did not receive a confirmation email. Reaching out on the site's input form has been fruitless, and their provided email address does not exist.Three weeks later, I still have not received any updates on my order.Note that while this "Biddeford Blankets" operates out of *************************************************, the Biddeford Blankets ******** page lists **************************, with no dash. Ordered Biddeford Blankets heated mattress pad through ****** in October that claims to come with a 5 year warranty. However, I was unable to register my product because the code provided on the paperwork errored out, and then after two months (stopped working in December) the controller completely stopped working. The warranty phone number provided takes you to some ******** information where I was unable to talk to anyone live to get any information, and the email provided gets sent back as undeliverable. Since then, I've tried to find another way to contact the company via internet searches and come away empty handed, but have found others who are equally as frustrated. There seems to be no way to contact the company. There are some who say the company has been sold, but no further information on how to reach the new company.Initial Complaint

It was Biddeford Blankets false advertising complaint. If the consumers know there was no support or warranty from Biddeford Blankets , the consumer would not bought any electric blankets from them.I bought Biddeford Blankets product on November 25, 2022. The User Manual stated that it had a 5 year warranty. Attached are email on 3/29/2024 that I sent to Biddeford Blankets and their reply email. I seek technical support from Biddeford Blankets and the reply was to ask me to call ************. However, the ************ only has recorded messages for selling stuff, not for customer support at all. I thought ********************** was exiting the business. However, they are still selling Electric Blankets and the ************ is still a selling stuff phone line. The consumers are still unable to contact Biddeford Blankets to get support and warranty. I suggest Biddeford Blankets does what the law required (NO false advertising) and answer the questions:1. How to reset the Electric Heated Mattress Pad reliably and relatively easy ?2. There's an item I was hoping to purchase that can't be added to the cart due to an issue with the website. When I emailed support, it came back as "Undeliverable", and when I tried to use the "Contact" form on their website, it doesn't work and the 'Submit' button does nothing.This company seems committed to not actually speaking to anyone, and based on the reviews, I would say this company is essentially a scam.
