      Not even worth a 1 star review. I've paid on this policy for **** years. They had the surgery/start date, they don't return calls, they never issued the check when it was supposed to be issued and I had to call to find out what was going on. I asked to speak to a manager as this was now the 3rd time I had to call and the 2nd issue I had with them and conveniently a manager was not available. Added to the stress of my surgery and recovery. I would not recommend.

      Trust ark is NOT Trustworthy!!! They take forever to review a claim; leave you hanging in limbo while your bills pile up and put you at risk for losing everything!! If your doctor puts you out of work- what then?!? With this company, youll be sitting for months before you receive what is owed to you- what you have drawn out of your paycheck and have earned and it may even be denied in the end. I wish my employer would choose a different company- because Trustmark Insurance/Disability does not have your best interests at heart! You will likely end up homeless, car-less, and depressed from dealing with this company!!

      I wish I would have researched this company before taking out a policy with them. My employer offered this so I unfortunately thought it was a reputable company. They are not helpful at all. They cancel your claims (and don't even inform you) for not having things that they have not requested. I am trying to get a claim paid and they keep giving me the run around. Not professional at all!!!

      Absolutely terrible service. They deny claims for not having materials that they never requested. My doctor calls them with the correct DOB and the insurance says its the incorrect DOB. I talk to a supervisor and they agree to expedite a claim if I send them an email and they never reply to the email. I sent them an email about a claim and included who the claim is for, how much etc. and they send me back an email asking me to provide them all of the info I put in the email. I am not sure if they have a robot returning emails or what. I am honestly frightened to have to deal with this company for my insurance needs. They are disorganized and do not approve reasonable appropriate claims.

      I cancelled my long-term care coverage by sending Trustmark an email with their cancellation document attached. I obtained the cancellation document from their website, filled it out, and signed it. Despite this, they have continued to withdraw fees from my bank account. I received an email confirming that my request was accepted and they would mail a confirmation letter. I never received a letter and instead was continually charged. They indicated that I didnt sign the form, I responded telling them that I did in fact sign the form and reattached it for their reference, and they stopped replying and continued to charge. I made several attempts to contact Trustmark customer service by email and phone. They have not responded to my emails or answered the phone. When I was able to stop automatic withdrawals, I then received a letter saying theyd send paper bills. I still cant get ahold of anyone to confirm my cancellation and they should not be charging any money past November 4th. I dont know what to do but I should not have to continue to pay for a canceled policy. They should also refund any charges made past the November 4th confirmed cancellation date.

      My employer is one of the largest companies on the planet. They just recently began offering this company as a benefit for long-term care and a rider. I called to purchase for myself and my spouse also called for herself as well. When she initially made the call, it was the day before hurricane ****** was hitting us and she stated she would like to think on it and wanted to wait on it before committing. My call was scheduled for the following week with the same guy (*****************) and we could discuss together. Unbeknownst to either of us until that following week, he had gone ahead and pushed her policy through for purchase. Not cool.Anyway, my appointment call took place and we went over everything. That was when he informed us that he had pushed her policy through. Needless to say we weren't pleased with that piece. We then went over my information. I went over my numbers, made my selection, provided my bank account for monthly payments, and provided my wife as 100% beneficiary and my stepdaughter as 100% contigent. The oddness with this encounter was that he kept asking if we could secure him tickets to an exclusive event that our company was holding which was completely sold out. We informed him numerous times that we had no access to these tickets nor any connections to these tickets. He wasn't satisfied with this answer and repeatedly asked. It wasn't ok but we had no other answer for him. This event wasn't even in our state!Well fast forward to later when we received our policy packets. My wife's policy had her beneficiary listed correctly as 100% me but her contigent as "All children" instead of just her daughter. That is literally not what she had provided. Then comes my policy. He had listed my beneficiary as 50% my wife and 50% my stepdaughter, no contingent. That is 100% incorrect and NOT what I had provided him! We were livid!I immediately texted him to inform him of the errors. This happened in Oct and we had to wait until *** to make corrections

      My wife spent the next 3 days after Christmas in the hospital with kidney stones and the infection was so bad she went sepsis. Her urologist set her surgery two weeks later to blast a stone the size of a marble. 5 days before the surgery the nurse called and said "Trustmark said the surgery needed to be postponed 2 weeks because my wife needed to request approval for the surgery". I have never heard such a thing. Even the urologist told Trustmark it was too dangerous to wait that long. Wonder what they say to people who need emergency surgery? Trustmark is an atrocious and despicable company.

      I would give 0 stars if I could! My employer offered a short term disability policy through Trustmark and I finally filed a claim. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND KNOWLEDGE OF WHAT IS ACTUALLY GOING ON WITH MY CLAIM EVER! I could never speak directly with the person that was actually reviewing and assigned to my claim. I would always get what seems like someone off site who didnt have a clue abt what was really going on. They gave incorrect information. I was off from 11/28/22 to 01/09/2023 and I have still NOT received my check! Its always a form they need filled out additionally and then they claim not to have received it. This place is a total joke and nothing like AFLAC! I hate my employer changed companies. Oh and I forgot to mention that you always have to call them and the wait time is hardly ever under ***** minutes!#verydisappointedcustomer

      Trustmark is not a honest company. Poor Business Practices. They need to train their employees so that they are knowledgeable on all Plans that they provide to Members. I was told that there was no specified amount of time for Bariatric surgery do all my appointments, blood work, and endoscopy paying over $2000 in my second week of pre-op diet and 6 days away from surgery and now they deny the surgery because I wasn't in the plan for 6 months. No where on the first pre-op in June did it state 6 months it stated Unspecified. Now I'm out all that money because they cancelled my surgery and I will have to pay more because my surgery will be next year. So glad my employee has choose to leave TrustMark next year. Hope this never happens to anyone else.

      This company is the worst ever. Ive been with them for insurance checks when I am on disability. They have not sent me a paycheck without me calling I didnt receive a paycheck for two months from them and now every two weeks I literally have to call for three or four days escalate it to managers every single time for them to send me a paycheck. I pay extra for this insurance to cover me when Im out on disability and theyre the worst company Ive ever dealt with in my whole life. They wont let you speak to a manager. They wont give you a corporate phone number. Im completely disgusted.
