AON is terrible to do business with. They are unresponsive and give you the run around. We will not use them again for any kind of insurance.

We filed a claim on June 22, 2022 and have been given the run around. My husband and I caught ***** and couldn't fly home from our tour and had to spend an extra 12 days in Europe. Others on our trip got their claims resolved much sooner. I would not recommend this company

Don't use AON. I'm on my 4th month of a ****** claim and not a dime. We had to disembark in ****** due too medical and pay all of our own expenses. These guy have nearly no direct communication what so ever. When you call them it goes to an over seas answering service. All they will do is quote what they have been told , and it sounds like they are reading. I believe they are going to need a nudge from outside sources to get my claim resolved. A prime example of how to NOT run an insurance company!!!

Filed a claim on June 15 2022. My husband contacted COVID and was not able to return on our scheduled flight. We are claiming his additional flight cost and the cost of room and board while awaiting return to the US.. It is nearly 6 months now and continue to get the run around from AON. They send us emails stating that they need additional information. When we call they tell us that they have all the info they need. Extremely frustrating. **** advise anyone not to use this company and am alos telling my travel agent to not recomend them either.

AON has been giving me the runaround for 6 months, I were booked for a 4 Sept cruise to ****** on NCL and they sold ** the primo top of the line travel insurance. Unfortunately I developed Pneumonitis end of July and could not make the *****. They have all the documentation from doctors and hospitals (over 100 pages) We bought the week cruise on the Haven which is over 10k. I have submitted all requested documentation needed from them and I keep calling and getting put off time and time again. I am now on the phone with someone who sounds like they are not in *****************, and are not helping. Her name is **************** and she just telling she knows that I'm frustrated but cannot put me in touch with the agent that is handling my claim. I will never book a NCL cruise or use this traval insurance company again...

We have been cruising for a long time, always buying the protection plan offered by Celebrity and Royal Caribbean, provided by AON Affinity **************** **** This year, unfortunately, we had to cancel for a medical reason and submitted a claim with two letters from my Doctors. The airline accepted these letters and refunded the full amount but AON did not. AON provided several excuses to deny the claim." We are waiting for more information from your Doctors" was the worst one. AON also claimed that their plan does not cover cancellation penalty and Future Cruise Credits but AON was happy to accept the premium of $858.00 which supposedly covered the entire cost of the cruise (verified by their agent). Totally disappointed. Cruise Companies must terminate their relationship with AON to maintain their reputation. Letters to *************************, AON Travel Practice President, were not acknowledged.

AON has been giving us the run around regarding our claim. It has been six months and counting and our claim is still in the process phase. Understandably a lot of claims have been filed, but AON held themselves out to.process claims in a reasonable time period. It took them 4 months just too follow-up about our claim. Not happy.

I bought AON *************************** through Royal Caribbean Cruise Line (RCL) to provide insurance coverage while on RCL Mariner of the Seas cruise May 15 - May 23. On May 20, I was rushed to the medical center on the ship with severe abdominal pain right after dinner. On May 24, right after my return, I filed a claim with AON for $312.97 representing the out-of-pocket medical expenses I was billed by the medical center on the ship. The claim was filed through AON website, using AON claim form and included the itemized billed issued by Mariner of the Seas medical center. AON acknowledged receipt of the claim and assigned a claim number. At the time of filing the claim, AON website advised it would take ***** days to process the claim. Almost FOUR month latter to the date, the status of my claim still shows as assigned which has not changed since my filing in May 24. Numerous attempts to contact AON through emails, calls to their call center in *************** and their offices in *** yielded two results, either "........we are experiencing a big back log......" or unreturned phone calls/messages. Infact, I tried to stop by one of their offices in ** but was told by security personal in the building that AON employees hardly show up at the office. Four months of no action by AON led me to resign to the fact that AON does NOT intend to fulfill its legal contractual obligations toward their customers. My next step was to try to get RCL to reimburse me for the out of pocked expenses on the grounds that RCL sells AON's product(s) on their website and most probably collect a commission. For the past few weeks RCL has been giving me the run around. It is beyond belief that a *********************** listed companies are allowed to get away with such behaviors.

Avoid this company at all cost. We booked a cruise in May of 2022. My husband and cousin contracted covid on the ship, we had several claims to turn in. Every time I call they give me the runaround and say it's being worked on an expedited. I filed the claim May the 25th of 2022. It's going on 4 months now starting this month, and still nothing. I would leave zero Stars if that was even possible.
