      Due to a glitch on the consolidated website, we were billed twice. After searching high and low for their customer service line, my husband found a number on ******, called it, and was connected with a customer service rep for **********************. He explained the situation and the customer service rep told him they usually return money in 5 business days. When he said, 'Oh I should have it by tomorrow then', the person said to add another week onto the original estimate. He called back today after waiting 10 business days, and they are refusing to credit us for this month's bill and refusing to return the money because they 'show no record' of the double withdrawal from our account. We are going to the bank to dispute the charges, as we are still showing the extra $80 being recorded as withdrawn from our account and not returned by consolidated.

      THE WORST EVER!!!! If there was a way to do negative Infinity stars I would!!! Was promised 3mbps ended up being told day of instillation that I could only get 1.5mbps. SO I asked why. Well apparently we took the last port at the substation for our area. BUT once a new port is put in then I can get the 3mbps. So I also ask if the bill will be cut in half since the 1.5mbps is half of the promised 3mbps. NOPE the best they could do was $4 less. To make matters worse the internet lags,drags and constantly going out (reset router every other day.) On top of that every bill was always showing a past due amount although bill was paid on time every month and I also paid 2 bills of the entire amount due. Calling customer was a joke! Either get bounced from one person to person, get disconnected, and if you were lucky enough to speak to someone they would be rude & unprofessional overpromising, deceptive, dishonest, clueless, and half the time you couldn't get a word in to explain for the reason of your call. They can breach their contract but by golly if you want to disconnect the services early because they just don't work and you don't want to pay for something that isn't working and the company doesn't want to at least fix the issue or be respectful and professional enough to listen to the unhappy/unsatisfied customer they want to be paid for that early disconnect fee!!! Well if you really need the money that bad and if its the only way to end the contract so be it!! Not only is the internet slow, lags and goes out but the phone line has static and buzzing. I go out buy new phones, in the mean time borrow phones both cordless and regular phones to see if it is my phone. NOPE!!! It is the phone line. Call to disconnect internet services and inquire about the phone line issues get put on hold for 10 minutes then someone else answers asking if I'd like to make a payment then on hold again (or at least thinking I'm on hold) I'm disconnected and can't get through again!

      Dont waste your time.... I use the internet for work at my house and lose the connection multiple times every day Totally pathetic

      Well their cost keeps going up, and the quality seems to go down, And where I live it is the only company that can operate phone& internet service, internet service is slow and I have had their fast and the slowest, I didn't see any difference, I keep getting NOT RESPONDING all the time, they like to pass the buck that it is goggle or any browser you are using fault, they blame everyone else. Where I use to live internet service was new, never had to worry about getting on line or it being slow, when I first moved where I am now the service was good, but after CC took over the quality of service has gone down, charges are high,service don't match., at best fair

      If I could give 0 stars I would. Worst company by far constantly having WiFi go out even though they say it should be working just fine. Had a tech come without our knowledge and fixed it from the road even though it was still slow if we could get anything to load, and dont let me miss out how my bill is always a different amount even though the WiFi is not working over half the time.

      I've waited 3 days for a Tech. Each day I'm told I'm next on list. It gets dark in an hour ?? Worst company. Call to complain get bounced around. Still nothing resolved.They know we have no choice but to use them. Help **

      Seven years of 'ok' service and now all my internet does is go in and out daily. Plus side, only takes five phone calls and a handful of clueless outsourced peons to figure out its not working correctly. Pretty much started when they began using under trained lacky contractors. -Don't bother emailing CS, they won't EVER get back to you.-They have ZERO inter company communication -I believe the local high school computer club could do the same level of work ****************** well they answer the phone...don't expect anymore more -If you have other options for TV/Internet/Phone use them

      I have been a loyal customer since before this ********************** was bought by Consolidated Communications. Let me tell you why I am canceling my service My internet went out between Wednesday 9/14 and Thursday 9/15. I called Thursday afternoon and was told someone would be there Friday 9/16. Waited Friday and called in the afternoon and was told some was out and on the way. I hung up the phone and it almost immediately rang again with an automated message stating that they had to reschedule until Saturday and gave the time of 7a - 6p. I called and said we couldnt do that and they narrowed down the time until 2p-6p. Called at 5p and was told someone was in the area and they would be there soon. No one came. I called today. Spoke with someone who said I was in the list and that someone was definitely coming today she said the dispatch call was. #*******. I called again at approximately 330p and they again said that someone was on the way and guaranteed that someone would be there. I then received an automated message at 430p saying that it was rescheduled again. I called customer service and have now canceled my account. They, by the way, did not ask/nor care about why I was canceling.

      Worst company I have ever had to deal with. I only still pay them because no one else is in my area. The second that changes, so will my loyalty to this company.

      Worst service ever! We have used **** Telephone for years, then it was bought out by ********* - then Consolidated. We have the worst internet on the planet. When you call for service, you have to speak to someone on the East Coast, who routes your concern to someone else, who calls to confirm your issue - then they escalate the service request to another person who finally puts you in line for a local technician. There's no way to go directly to the local tech. Even the person on the East coast can't reach them. We have waited days when our internet is out - and no word from them. Both my husband and I have to work from home a couple days a week and this has been a nightmare. We are signed up and waiting for ********.
