    On March 5, 2025 I ordered the book World Anabolic Review, 1996 and paid $7.84. They sent instead a book called A History of ******. I then tried to order a second World Anabolic Review, 1996 on March 15, 2025 that they had listed and paid $7.84. Again, they sent me a second copy of A History of ******. I contacted them through **** (where the purchases were made) and included photos of the two books five days ago. They are now ghosting me as I want to return these two books for a refund of $15.68.

    Purchased 4 books from this seller on ****. Seller advertised buy 3 get 1 free deal. I was not discounted for the promotion. I added a message to my purchase asking the seller to correct the purchase and discount the price of 1 book. Seller refused to honor offer. 2 of the 4 books I received were not in the condition they were listed in. I followed ***** policies to inform the seller. The seller is supposed to send me a shipping label so I can return the items. The seller has not done so. The seller is now unresponsive and not honoring the **** terms.

    I placed an order for 4 books, totaling $20.38 on 12/30/2024. I received an email confirmation about the order within a few minutes of it being placed. 4 day later I received an email saying that one of the books was not available and that I would be refunded the value of that book. I had paid $4.48 for the book, but I was only given $3.97 as the refund. I contacted the seller to correct the error and was told it would be corrected. However over the past month they have ignored multiple requests for the full refund to be issued and have stopped responding to emails. My last email to them was on 1/18/2025, where I again showed them the incorrect refund amount and compared it to a screenshot of the receipt from my purchase. They have not responded, it has been almost a month.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  They decided to refund me the remaining amount from the purchase I made which they cancelled due to the item being out of stock, which was incorrectly labeled as available when I made the purchase.  I appreciate them correcting this error, and I wish they would do so in a more timely way in the future if such an error occurs.

    The seller on ****, SecondSale, advertised a "Buy 3, Get 1 Free"; however, when I paid for the following four (4) items, no discount was applied. Item number: ************, Item number: ************, Item number: ************, & Item number: ************ I requested a refund and received the following reply from the seller. Apologies for the issues you have experienced.Our current offer is Buy 3, Get 1 Free (add 4 to cart) when you purchase four eligible items in a single transaction. Media, vinyl, and new items are excluded from the offer.The discount will be made automatically at checkout. If no discount is made, please remove and re-add the books one more time. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.Have a good day! Customer Support Hero However, though the note advises to "please remove and re-add the books one more time," this is not possible because the system automatically goes into payment collection. This is very deceptive; a bait-and-switch.

    I ordered a book through ********. I did not receive the book I ordered. I received a different book. I requested a refund. I would have to send back the wrong book to get the refund (which is fine), but they did not give me return shipping to send them back the wrong book. If I didn't get paid for return shipping, because I paid a bit over $5 for the book, I would only get back about $1 with the refund because of the return shipping I would have to pay for. They also offered a 20% credit for my next purchase if I didn't send back the wrong book, which would also be about $1. Either way, I only get $1 back for their mistake. I know I'm writing this complaint over $1/$5, but it is the principle of the matter. They did not send me the book I paid for and when I ask for refund or paid for return shipping, this is what they offer. In an email, they eventually said they would refund me on 12Dec2024. It is now 27Dec2024 and still no refund.

    I ordered the book, Uncle ******** Nightbook - Book Condition: New, from their online book store on 10/08/2024 (Order Reference HAVRXKTMH - placed on 10/08/2024) and provided the shipping and billing address. The Federal Correctional Facility where I'd had it shipped to my son, who is an inmate, refused and returned the book on 10/21/2024 because of improper address. I have submitted three messages through their online site via my account, and have received zero response. The tracking #states that the book Arrived at **** Facility **********, IL ***** October 23, 2024, 6:48 am and the last status states; "Moving Through Network In Transit to Next Facility October 27, 2024. I have asked that they either return my money or ship the book again using the appropriate address details:******* ******* #******** - ***************************************** ***** ************* ********** I've received no response.

    I bought a book off ********* on Tuesday and it was confirmed by Second Sale and they took the money from my account, after two days I contacted them about where is the tracking so that I can track my book, only for them to say sorry that you had to contact us through ********* and that they don't have the book and will have to refund my money back onto the card. I check my bank card in which I see where they took the money from my account, but I do not see where they refund my account. I contact them for them to keep repeating they are out of stock and do not know when they will get a replenishment, and to look at their other books on sale. I told them several times I just want a refund, and they just stop communicating. At this point, all I'm asking is a refund, and not do business with this company again.

    On October thr 13th, I made an online purchase for multiple books for $33.69. My credit card has been charged. However, the website froze and while payment went through, my order was never confirmed. They responded to 1 email from me asking for more details. Since then, their email ******************************* has either become defunct or they have blocked me as all emails I have tried to send are returned unsent. They will not answer when I call their business number. I messaged their ******** account asking how to get in contact with them and received an automated response to contact them at the email that is now defunct or has blocked me. I do not know why they would have blocked me as I was kind and just asking for information about my order. After checking their ****** page, many people have had poor, similar experiences like this.
