Bought a brand new powerhead and pole saw attachment. Managed to use it twice and on the 2nd time it stopped working. No overheating, no warning, it just stopped. I tried charging the battery but that wouldn't charge either. So I placed one of my spare batteries in the powerhead and that wouldn't work either (it had been working in the chainsaw just moments before). When I went and put the spare battery back in the chainsaw, that battery stopped working. So the Powerhead must have shorted out both batteries. I went to the EgoPower website they only have a single phone number for handling customer issues. So I phoned it and waited and waited and waited.... with no one answering. So I have a power tool, 2 batteries, all under warranty with no way of getting the warranty honored due to their non existent customer service. I strongly urge people to avoid purchasing these tools due to how shockingly bad the customer service is.

Ego PowerPlus Tools - If you ever buy an Ego battery or charger, make sure you upload your receipt when you are registering your purchase at egopowerplus.com. There is a 3-year warranty on their batteries and I have problem with my 2-year-old $400 battery. Ego will not support any warranty claims since I didn't upload a receipt along with my online registration. Warranty registration requires date of purchase, store purchased from including model numbers and serial numbers. Be sure to upload a copy of receipt otherwise you will out of luck obtaining warranty support.

I have an EGO blower. I couldn't get the battery off the blower to charge it. I had several neighbors try to pull up on the latch ( as seen in the video instructions). I called and was put on hold (for over an hour). At one point I pressed "1" for a call back and when I did that it asked for a password! So where does one get a password for this purpose???? I finally had to hang up. At this point I was so frustrated I took a pliers and to the latch and was finally able to loosen the battery enough to pull in off. What a horrible, frustrating experience. I will never buy another EGO product again!!!

I have had the same problem that many others have had: Absolutely NO customer service. I bought the Leaf Blower 650 CFM in October 2022. On 14 April 2023, it just stopped operating. I called **************** that same day with no luck; no even the "promised call back from the first available representative." Called again on 17 April 2023 with the same results. If you have money to throw away, then by all means by an Ego product. I pray that you have no issues with it. I am also going to contact ****** corporate headquarters to share my experience.

Apparently, CHEVRON owns EGO. That probably explains the problems EGO **************** is NON-EXISTENT. Call either number and get the same recording."Thank you for calling customer service for EGO, ********************** beyond belief. We can't wait to help you:" Then it goes to a fast busy signal. Regardless of the time of day or week. I tried this several weeks ago and again just now. Friday at about 10am this time. Same thing. I guess they were serious - they just can NEVER wait. I have the 1500SF string trimmer. The String jambs all the time. I've tried 5 different string company's and sizes of string. They all jamb before the string runs out. The hub is almost impossible to get off after. the video is a lie. the hub requires a s**** driver to pry it off. I wouldn't buy another EGO product

My review to *** for the blower I bought is as follows: "Overall Pricey, Heavy and Adequate Performance. I bought because of the convienence to no have a cord to manage (since I currently have a plug in *************** and didn't want a gas one due to noise and having to maintain. I bought my B&D blower several years ago for $75 and it has the same blower power rating as the *** (which doesn't seem to be the case where the B&D appears more powerful) but for more than 4X the price I probably should have just bought another plug in electric one. The convienence is nice but it becomes heavy after awhile where a plug in electric one is much lighter."I didn't think it was that bad and was just being honest. I get a reply back that they can't post since a specific price is listed with a link to revise my review which doesn't work not load. As you can see from my review, I did not mention the specific price of the *** product so that is a bogus reason. It would appear that they won't publish less than stellar reviews so I informed them that I will seek out other social media platforms to advertise how they cover up any negative reviews which is what I am doing here. I plan to bring the blower back due all the negative reviews where it is apparent they don't stand behind their products.
