      Product worked fine until the battery failed under warranty. I opened a ticket and they had me do some remote testing and I was told I would receive a tracking number for the replacement. 27 days later still no tracking number and anyone I speak to including a supervisor can't tell me when a replacement will be shipped, Do not buy one of their products.

      Bought EGO 21 inch mower 4/2020. Battery went dead 5/2022. They replaced it. Now the replacement battery went dead as of 6/2023.They wont replace saying battery is out of warranty. Further, even though the new battery was received in 2022, they said the original 3 year of batteries started in 2020 and didnt apply to the battery received in 2022.

      I bought a lawnmower for 800$ in April, broke in June. I called customer service and they issued a replacement, one week went by and have not gotten any shipping information. Called again, spoke to a lady who honestly just did not give a F asked for a supervisor took 3 days for a call back and she did not care anymore than the first ***** Finally was told orders take ***** days to ship after they are processed which unknown how long that will take. There is no other solution, they do not care if its the middle of summer be prepared to not cut your grass for a month straight. I can not believe in 2023 shipping of mass produced item can take more than a month.

      Our zero turn mower had a driver motor burn up. After three days of sitting on hold, we are finally connected to a representative that let us know our only option was to take a non-drivable, non-movable mower over two hours away to a service center to be 'evaluated'. This is not a feasible or customer friendly option. We are very disappointed in the customer service and warranty was not truly honored.

      Bought an EGo blower 13 months ago. It lasted 2 months before it broke. They replaced it but now that replacement is broken also. Same issue as the first. Very questionable quality. **************** is giving me the run around this time. Told me 6 weeks ago they were sending a replacement. Every time I call to inquire about it they say they'll send it soon but never do. They just send me an email that says call if you have any questions.Asked for a supervisor but was told they were too busy to talk to me. I bet they were with service like this- they are probably swamped with complaints. Won't be buying anymore EGo products.

      Stay clear of this product! Purchased the 21" lawn mower,battery failed after a year. Called customer ************** agreed the battery was dead. I was told a replacement would be shipped out & I would receive a new battery within 10 days. Fast forward 4 weeks & 4 phone calls & still no replacement battery shipped out. Buy a different make that has decent after service.

      I bought a weed waker last season it broke after just a few uses Ego sent ** to a repair shop, they said it couldn't be fixed and told us that Ego would send us a new one, waiting now over a month, every time we call they tell us they escalated the case and that we should have it soon, still waiting, they told ** they would have a manager call ** back, still waiting. They told us they were waiting for a tracking # that's ridiculous, still waiting, it seems like they always have a different excuse every time you call, and we did buy ours at an authorized dealer They are a terrible company to work with, they do not honor their warranties . DO NOT BUY FROM EGO, they should go out of business.

      Terrible customer service moreover, they didn't honor the warranty and their customer service department kept on lying. Finally, after many calls and sending all the proofs they said they have shipped new battery and after waiting for **************************************************** that case was closed and no order was created and had no details about it.

      Terrible customer service. I had a battery and ********************** head unit fail. After 1/2 hour on the phone, they authorized warranty replacement on the battery and took the power head to a service center. It has been three weeks and the power head has not been acknowledged as being broken. The battery they sent was a 2.5 AH. The one that failed was 5.0 AH One hour on the phone and they haven't come up with a simple replacement system.Ego customer service is ranks as the worst!!!!

      Bought an EGO string trimmer last fall, used it several times with no issue. This spring I attempted to use it and both batteries I purchased (one with the trimmer and one additional) were dead, unable to take a charge. After struggling for hours on the 'customer service' line I finally got someone to return my call. After a lengthy and often tortuous discussion (that included in part that their lawn equipment batteries must be kept in a temperture-controlled environment) I was told they would ship me two new batteries as they were still under warranty. Two weeks later I was forced to call again, nothing had been sent. After ANOTHER lengthy discussion the batteries were finally shipped.After using the trimmer two or three times this spring, it broke. Apparently a common issue that *** has felt no need to rectify. As proof I invite you to peruse any of these reviews. ANOTHER call to 'customer service', with lengthy wait for a return call, and I was told I have to take the trimmer to one of their service centers. The closest of which is two hours away. Nonetheless, when you're $500 in on useless equipment, you'll do what you have to in order to get an ROI. The first place we called, that they specifically referred as an authorized dealer, is out of business. It is still listed on their website as an authorized service center. I then called the next place and it is even farther away (2.5 hours). In calling them I was told that there is a two to three week backlog for them to even look at it. If I stick with trying to get it repaired, it will be the end of May before they will even look at it. I conclusion, if you decide to do business with this company then my recommendation is save all your receipts, immediately register for your warranty, and finally have backup gas powered equipment. No one at this company appears to care about product quality or post-purchase service. I don't understand how they are still being allowed to operate. Will never buy again.
