1 starRUN away FAST! The company miscoded 1 injection. After looking up the injection code, the 2024 average cost for the injection is $1,272. My insurance company was billed $18,000 because it was miscoded as a surgery instead of an injection! The billing department would not even look into the coding error. They charged my credit card, not the one in my patient file, without my authorization. I had to cancel both credit cards to ensure they would not continue to charge. Oh - and did I mention being emailed an itemized receipt for another patient. Sounds like a HIPPA violation to me. DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THIS COMPANY - NOTHING BUT CROOKS!!!I gave this company one star because its the only way to get my review posted. This company deserves -100 stars!Review fromGretchen M

1 starThis company is a SCAM. They have continuously charged my credit card without my consent even though I have been done paying for months. When I call to get the charge removed they argue with me and try to convince me that I owe them money. I have to cancel my credit card to resolve the issue.Review fromYvette M

1 starI was a USA Vein Clinics patient for about 6 months. I have concerns about their recommendations for vein therapy, especially concerning the necessity for the multiple procedures recommended. I am not a physician, so I yielded to the experts and proceeded with treatment as recommended.
My major complaint is about their billing practices. They do not send an invoice. They bill your credit card before your insurance company settles with them and creates an EOB for you to review/compare the services you received with the services billed. There were multiple times I disputed a bill and learned that the amount they charged my card (or wanted to charge my card) was excessive. They are eager to put their patients in a position of having to request and then wait for a refund. They will not acknowledge that their billing practices are unethical and excessively aggressive, even though they say they "take patient satisfaction seriously." Don't trust them. In addition to the egregious billing process, this company can bill at a rate of up to $18,000 (or more) for a 10-minute procedure. Yep, you read that correctly. Your insurance company will discount the vast majority of it (if you have insurance), but it goes to the point that these folks are unethical, are in this business for a fast profit, and are seriously contributing to inflated costs for health care in the US. They don't care about you.
If you must use this company for your health concerns, make sure you question the procedures recommended: What will this do for me? Why are so many procedures required? Can I get a good result with fewer procedures? What will my out of pocket expenses be for the complete course of therapy? How will I be informed of charges and and how/when will I be billed? Even doing this may not give you a better result, but at least you'll be armed with what they told you vs. what they do.
I will never recommend this company because of these practices. Stay away from it if you can.Review fromDeepak S

1 starI made an appointment for first visit; *** told me no charge for first visit. Than I went to my appointment, I told the reception this is my first visit i will not get charge for this visit, she say yes you will not get charge. Then she ask for my insurance, and I say why insurance card, than she said because we are checking if insurance will cover your surgery. After month later i receive bill. When i call the main office they told me you sign the paper, i sign the paper for, permission for check my insurance co will cover the cost for surgery. They lie, be careful.Review frommi m

1 starThey make bogus appointments for patients that the patient never agreed to just so they can charge patient $250.00 Repeatedly charging my card for missed appointments, that I never actually made or agreed to. There has to be some scam associated with this. TO charge my card after I, and my bank, contacted them to stop applying bogus charges, which they continue to do, is absurd. I have since had to cancel my card and request a new one.Review fromKelli T

1 starRun away and fast. The first location I went to was unorganized and uncommunicative. The second location was fine, but their billing department is unprofessional and sends collections emails when the billing still shows you are within 0-30 days from billing. They tried to bill me $34,000 for procedure that should have been less than $2,000 - "oh, it was an error, we will manually correct that." If I wasn't still in the midst of treatment, I would leave in a heartbeat, but it is too hard to switch at this point. The only saving ***** is that I like the doctor who is now treating me and he is very good about explaining everything. If you DO end up using them, I highly recommend that you VERY closely monitor every bill and statement - if you can ever receive them. I don't receive a statement unless I call and ask for it myself.Review fromJewelean S.

1 starI am writing to express my deep frustration and dissatisfaction with the service I have received from USA Vein Clinics regarding the overpayment issue that remains unresolved. On June 22, 2023, I settled my bill with USA Vein Clinics, resulting in a zero balance. Subsequently, I was fortunate to receive a ***** from the **************************** which supports individuals diagnosed with rare cancers. Unfortunately, the *************************** sent a check intended for me directly to USA Vein Clinics, which was cashed by your organization, resulting in a double payment.I have contacted USA Vein Clinics over 60 times, and despite my relentless efforts, I have never been able to speak directly with management.. Every time I call, I am told that management will return my call, yet I have never received any response. This is unacceptable and reflects extremely poorly on your customer service.I have also sent multiple emails, none of which have been addressed. This is by far the worst customer service experience I have encountered in my entire life. The continuous evasion and lack of communication from your management team are not only unprofessional but also deeply frustrating. The *************************** informed me that the check was deposited directly into USA Vein Clinics' account on August 22, 2023. The bank has marked the details on the check, confirming its deposit into their account. I kindly request that the overpayment be refunded to me promptly. I have a copy of the cashed check for your reference. It shows the check was deposited in USA vein Clinics account.Review fromMary A

1 starI received a call from their Billing telling me that I owe them $700+ for co-payment and that's for one treatment only. He wasn't sure about the other 9 treatments yet Hearing about this, I was shocked and my heart was pounding fast. I was calculating what if the co-payment would be $700+ for every treatment, that's a whooping $7k+. If I only knew, I would never push through with the treatment. Before I started my first treatment, I was at their clinic waiting as I was just informed by the staff that they were still waiting for approval from the insurance and because of that I told them to just call me if it's already approved so as not to waste my time waiting. So when they called and informed me that it was approved and went there and waited for more than 3 hours and that's the normal waiting hours there. So before every treatment, I received a text reminder regarding the appointment, and what to do and bring (avoid caffeine, bring ID and insurance card, and bring a credit card), I started and finished my treatment plan, and not once did they ask me that I had to pay the co-pay so I assumed that it's 100% covered by the insurance. I felt that I was SCAMMED in broad daylight. This is a surprise bill. It's an unacceptable practice. For the the treatment, I'm still waiting if there's going to be any improvement, but as of now I still feel the same as before getting the treatment.Review fromFlorencio C

1 starThe *************** charged my account for services that I did not received. They charge for a visit on June 25, 2024 which I never attend, nor did I have an appointment for that day. On my last visit June 11, 2024, there was a patient complaining that she was being billed also for services not received. Shady operationReview fromHanna M

2 starsThere are 5 million times better as vein clinics of america. The billing department is a joke. So, make sure you pay before you leave and make sure you get and save your receipts because I'm still fighting with them about my bill that I paid 6 months ago!!! They say we will call you back it is a lie. They send you to collections quickly even for "paid" bills ugh!!! Still fighting with them. The system they have doesn't seem to work at all. I would think it would be easy to pay the bill right?! They don't seem to want their money they just want to waste paper and peoples time! The ridiculous I have dealt with over 309.70$ I would paid double if they would just take my darn money and leave me be. It's unfortunate. Get it together! And tell your billing department specifically *************************** and ************************* ******************************* that they are unhelpful, liars, who obviously done know how to or care to do their jobs. Thanks. For no help. So, after this it still took multiple people to actually help me. I talked to ******************* no help. ******* on June 10th at 445pm finally helper me, but then never sent me an email. Then on June 11th I talked to I think *** is her name at 405pm and she should be fired! She was literally very rude. She refused to let me talk to a supervisor. I am pretty sure vein clinics records calls. You should listen to it. Then ******** finally told me my balance was gone and she would not let me talk to a supervisor. Do you have supervisors? Because honestly ridulous isn't even an appropriate word. Now I have been harassed, ignored, disrespected, and had to waste my time with this just to make a payment to you guys that I have now made twice!!!! Honestly, this is disgusting that I have to fight on phone with you guys so many times.
