I first visited a *************** in spring 2021. I was concerned about some painful and visible veins in my legs. An ultrasound was performed and the doctor recommended about 7 rounds of sclerotherapy and one laser treatment of part of my great saphenous which I underwent in the summer of 2021. After completion of my treatment another ultrasound was performed and I was told everything was fine. Six months later in March 2022 had a follow-up ultrasound performed and was again told I would need at least 5 procedures including lasering of the great saphenous vein from toe to groin on both legs. I sought a second opinion from a vascular surgeon who performed his own ultrasound. The results were staggering. My veins actually were fine and he recommended NO procedures of any kind. I called *************** to obtain my records. They charged me $36 but never sent them. When I tried to reach the medical records department after that I was repeatedly disconnected. Eventually a call went through and the person who answered had a thick Russian accent and a dog barking in the background. I have not received my records still. On 2-3 occasions *************** charged my card without submitting a **** to me. And last week they charged my card $400 even though I terminated treatment after my ultrasound in March. When I called they promised to issue a refund which never occurred. I had to file a fraud claim with my credit card company. I suspect that the doctor who I treated with either fraudulently reported my ultrasound results in order to continue performing lucrative procedures on me or either she or the ultrasound tech made many, many mistakes when interpreting the ultrasound. I believe *************** may suspect the same and this is why they are resisting giving me my records. The pain in my legs for which I originally sought treatment continues as do the visible veins. And now, after treatment, I also have nerve pain to deal with.
