      This is not a professional flooring company. They do not follow through on their warranty policy. Please seek elsewhere if you are planning on installing any type of flooring in your home or business.

      Terrible customer service, installed wrong Carpeting and still have 1/3 job to do yet!! Paid close to 10k for entire house/job and I can't get ANYONE to return texts, ph calls, etc abt fixing the problem!!! PPL NEED TO BE WARNED TO NOT USE THIS CO. EMPIRE CARPET, NOT the same ** anymore!!!!

      Most of the job was done to our satisfaction,but when it came time to get someone out to solve an issue,no responce to phone calls or e-mail.Seems like once they have your money they are done with you.Also have an issue with being charged $1350 cash up front before the job was even started because the estimator neglected to include plywood installation for the floors before the laminate was installed.We feel we were put between a rock and a hard place because of this and it seemed that we were pressured into paying the money or be charged more by the company.,if they were to proceed through normal ************ small bathroom,5 ft by 5 ft has a squeaking floor and the installation mgr said it was because of the subfloor.This was not discussed before hand so it could have been done before install.Tried to talk to mgr. won't return voicemail and my e-mails are rejected

      Empire installers were great.However, I have an issue with the laminate flooring starting to peel off. Now I paid for a warranty but they tell me it's not covered. Then why am I paying for something I can't use? They do not stand behind their product and they give very poor service. I wouldn't reccomend them to anyone.

      I scheduled appointment for sales men to come out to my house to give me a quote on capers in my basement and family room. I agree on a price and what type of carpet that I want. I gave them a down payment over half of the total price. They came out to installed the carpet in my family room which I am pleased with. The installment in the basement I had scheduled out around 3 months after the family room carpet was install. Well today was the day to have the carpet installed. The installer came out when in my basement and said he couldnt install the carpet because I had a French drained put in **************************************** put tack strips down because the concrete may crack. I understood. Do I told him to use concrete glue to attach the wood strips. Which I found out this is the way you should install carpet with a pad in a basement not to drill or use a nail gun to install the metal strips. He said no it wouldnt hold, because he is using an electric stretcher instead of the one use with your knee. The concrete glue is rated for 6700 psi which strong enough to hold. He said he didnt want to take on the responsibility if it didnt hold. I told him I would sign any waiver releasing him and empire from any and all responsibility. The installer just didnt want to do the work. He wanted to use the electric stretcher instead of the old way when you used the knee kicker. So he left my house without installing the carpet. I called empire all day long. Every time I reach someone that said the manager would be calling me he or she never did. They have my money so I guess it not important that I have furniture and cabinets being delivered Saturday because I thought that I would have carpet installed on Tuesday. Someone need to let me know if they are going to do the job or refund my money so I can have another company install my carpet. I have a ***** sq feet house full of carpet that needs replacing. I was going to empire to do it, but I guess now I wont.

      Horrible company. I had vinyl installed and the job was not completed and tar glue was present at the seams and all over the vinyl that was installed. 2 weeks later the vinyl was separating at the seams. Took me 3 weeks to finally speak to management only because I refused to hang up until I spoke with management. They had me email them pictures and they said they would be sending someone out to fix the problems. Over 3,weeks later installers showed up and cut out the vinyl at the seams, poured cement over all the rest of the tile that they previously installed and put another layer of vinyl on top of the previously installed Vinyl. Also when the sales person came, my 96 year old mother made it clear to him that she did not want to finance through the bank and wanted to pay it off. He cohersed her to sign a contract and made her believe that she was signing agreeing to the job and her choice of Vinyl. However it was a contract to Wells Fargo! I can never get anyone to return my calls and when I call they just give me another number to call, or tell me that someone will return my call. I am getting charged over 4,000.00 for the job that is horrible. You people don’t care because you already got paid by the bank. I will not stop here and I plan on making this a legal matter, ESPECIALLY after all of the other hundreds of similar complaints from your customers!

      Call a professional flooring company. They offer a great deal up front only to expect double in less than a year when your flooring heaves and you can’t even slide your chairs out without them getting snagged. They basically blame you for cleaning the floor. One thing they are honest about is your floors won’t scratch. You can’t slide anything far enough across them enough to scratch them. Again save money in the long run and hire a professional flooring company not a con company.
      Oh and when they originally installed they were about 25 sq short. Let me be very clear the team sent to install were a well put together Hispanic team that couldn’t apologize more for the shortage even though they were in no way responsible. They came back and finished the job the next day.
      If this happens please tip the guys. Empire didn’t seem to care when I contacted them about the issue of added labor as the installers were “paid by the sq ft”.

      I wouldn’t even give them 1 star if I could! We had carpet installed by Empire on April 13, 2024. A week or so later we reached out to customer service to get help with an issue we were having. The loops on the Berber carpeting were coming loose in some places. They said they would have someone reach out to us. A few weeks goes by, we reach out again. They apologize and said they will expedite our request. By now it’s been a month. Fast forward to today. Still nothing resolved after sending them the requested pictures, them coming out a month ago to take their own pictures and multiple emails being sent. It has been an awful experience and our carpet is falling apart after only 6 months. The sales rep even assured us that we were getting carpet that would withstand time. I wish we wouldn’t have used them. Now we are out $3000!!

      Absolutely the most dishonest company. Purchased carpet in August 2023, in July 2024 noticed carpeting on steps was frayed. Techician came out in August 2024 and send the carpet needed to be changed. Replacement carpet was suppose to be installed on Sept 4, 2024 no show because someone was sick; didn't even bother to call and let us know they would not be out. Rescheduled for Sept 11, 2024, techician comes in realizes he needs a ladder suppose to get ladder and be back within an hour; two hours later called install and someone's wife was having a baby and had to go to hospital would not be back. Had to reschedule for Sept 26; technician cames in for 5 minutes says there is nothing he can do and did not replace carpet. i was told to call back and reschedule. Rescheduled for Oct 11, 2024...No one showed up. Wasted 4 days of my time.
