      Do not buy these products! They make you use the MyQ app to control the remote aspects of these garage door openers. I am a Home Assistant user and they have blocked 3rd party ********************** time and time again. I paid for these products I should be able to use them how I want to without paying for the "privilege" ... or forcing a 3rd party to pay a fee to become an authorized partner. This is downright hostile to their customer base no matter how 'small' the percentage of users is. I will be recommending to all my friends and family that have interest in smart home equipment to steer clear of this company and their products until they can clean it up.

      There are several choices out there for Garage Openers so avoid this one at all costs! Brand new out of the box this unit didn't work. Called customer service and for 3 weeks I still don't have a working opener. When on the phone they promise everything- then do nothing! They kept telling me they would fix the problem but need to call me back. Never did. Told agent I needed a supervisor to call that day. They guaranteed that would happen. Never did. Don't buy this product because the won't help you if it doesn't work!

      Worst customer service experience ever. after all most 2 hours on the phone with trying to connect a camera they hung up on me. I would never by a product from this group ever again.

      Dont buy anything from these people. They are monetizing consumers and reducing promised functionality.I have a garage door only a couple years old that is supposed to work with Apple HomeKit. It never worked using their integration even with their extra hub. It never paired well and then I could never see the garage door opener (but had the useless bridge in my HomeKit home). I tried working with their terrible support (if you can hold of anyone) and got nowhere. Dont bother with their dumb chatbot. Useless is being kind.I was able to work around all this with a 3rd party software called HomeBridge for years. It worked very well. Then recently, Chamberlain got greedy and cut off 3rd party apps. Now my garage door doesnt work at all with Apple HomeKit! This is greed hurting consumers again and reducing functionality to make me use their app and view advertisements. (Yes, I noticed the large ads which fill my screen!)

      Chamberlain Group has declared war on their consumers and the smart home industry. Hundreds of thousands of customers are potentially impacted by their recent and unnecessary decision to block API access. They CLAIM it was for security and to make the system better, but that is a bold-faced lie. There was never a security incident (unless they have hidden that from us), which would be even more concerning. We all made purchasing decision based on the well-known and advertised fact that MyQ worked with Home Automation platforms like Home Assistant, HomeKit, GoogleHome, etc.. For years, there was absolutely no issue. Then someone got greedy, and began willingly, intentionally and maliciously blocking access to our own equipment. They want to force us to us one of. their ********************* that charge subscription fees and provide them with kickbacks. They claim "Oh, but you can use our app for free". That is true for the time being, however, their roadmap is clear. They recently (July '23) hired ********* ****, Senior Software Product Manager, whose stated job description is "Senior Product Manager responsible for customer conversion and retention, with a focus on Chamberlain's MyQ app subscription funnel. Helping to set the vision for building a 'best-in-class' subscription management platform to optimize scale and retention". Through these actions, Chamberlain Group is engaging in:1) Breach of Trust - Violating the trust of multitudes of consumers that trusted them with our purchases.2) Financial Manipulation - Intentionally manipulating stock prices and/or company valuation by falsely inflating the app usage and customer satisfaction ******* Harassment - Chamberlain Group is actively committing harassment, and extortion by holding our privately owned equipment hostage unless we pay a subscription fee, to access equipment we already paid for, and have been using until now. Stay FAR, FAR Away from ANYTHING Chamberlain Group touches.

      Worst customer service on the planet. This MyQ c*** is nothing but a headache. I never have, despite contacting customer support, got my MyQ camera to connect with the MyQ hub. Nothing works with Apple home kit either. You can buy their expensive bridge (they have discontinued this product) but even that is 50/50 at best. I spent quite some time on the phone with support with no resolution to the problem. A simple ****** search told me all I needed to know. The problem with the camera is well known. So, it's not just me. Not only will their products not work with other platforms, their products don't even work with their products. The number one complaint in all of the reviews I read was/is CUSTOMER SERVICE. Yet they don't seem to care. No more Liftmaster/Chamberlain/MyQ junk in this household.

      What a piece of garbage!! Absolute garbage! I'll be 4 weeks minimum without a garage door which was our main entrance in and out of the house, because a part is back ordered! The misdiagnosed the problem the first time and gauranteed me the board would fix the issue! WELL IT DIDN'T!! No I'm sitting here with my thumb up my A$$ for two more weeks! Chamberlain, you **** and so does your piece of c*** openers

      I have spent nearly two hours on the phone and in the chat with representatives. NO ONE has been able to help me. Without any trouble shooting questions one rep told me I needed to get a ladder and obtain the serial number. No one advised me that this information is available in the app

      I called Chamberlain Group to inquire about a recall for their 888LM wall activation door switch.The recall stated they would honor the recalled item until 2023. The problem with the activation switch was a phantom operation of the garage door with no inputs. My garage door opened and closed on its own while I had a classic car (66 Mustang) on the lift and the door wound up hitting the car. The company was less than helpful replacing the switch with their updated model. They told me the was warrantee for 5 years even though the recall states 2023. I didn't ask for repairs to the car just to replace the defective wall mounted switch which I purchased on Amazon for $47.00 Great customer service.
