Horrible customer service experience. Refund on my return was promised in 4-6 weeks, but I was told they have a glitch (don't believe that!) in their system so the refund wasn't coming at all! After several emails and calls, I FINALLY got my refund after 2+ months of fighting. Clearly they have no intention of servicing the customer as indicated by the many negative reviews. PLEASE THINK TWICE before doing business with The Chamberlain Group or any of their off-shoots.Chamberlain Group, Inc.

I returned two MyQ cameras on 2/22/23. I have called 6 times to get my refund. Every time I was told a different reason for. It receiving my refund.On 3/17 I was told a check would be sent to me in two weeks.On 4/4 I was told it would take another 8 weeks. My money is being held hostage. I have spent a lot of time waiting and speaking with no solution or resolution. This is not how business is conducted. I will never purchase a chamberlain product.Chamberlain Group, Inc.

Terrible customer service. I bought a garage door camera to go with my opener. The camera wouldn't connect. I sent it back. After a month of hearing nothing, I contacted them through their chat. On one chat they said the return was in process and would be refunded by the end of the month. No Joy. I contacted them again and they told me the return wasn't yet received. I supplied them with the *** and ***** tracking number showing the date they received it and who signed for it. Now they are telling me it will ***********-8 weeks for the refund to be processed when they find it. That's totally unsatisfactory customer service. I will never buy this company's products again. I will not recommend this company to anyone.Chamberlain Group, Inc.

Worst customer service ever, I purchased a camera from them where it turns out very normal cheap camera overpriced, so I returned straightly during the 1st week, I even paid for the shipping, after 2 months they still can't refund me saying its still under inspection for 2 months!!Very disappointed with their customer service and hope anyone would think several times before purchasing anything from them straightly, buy their stuff if you like from Amazon at least you have 1 month easy return without any hustle and direct refund rather than months .Chamberlain Group, Inc.

12/17 called to file a claim, the door closed before I could exit the garage and the door came down and hit my car we purchased on 12/14! Not one call back, constantly I have to call back, spoke to ******, *******, **** and now on hold with ******(who is the only one who seems to be making an effort to assist me! The others not so much! Was told Id hear within 48 hours! SERIOUSLY todays date 1/18/23 WAY BEYOND 48 hours! Find a different brand the representatives dont care! Terrible customer service. I've repeatedly called them to resolve an issue I'm having with my brand new opener. I cannot use it because the openers activate my neighbors door. They have a very old door opener and we can't reset his codes. I've been walked through reseting my own opener multiple times and finally was "escalated" to a manager. I was told my neighbor has to call them which makes zero sense to me. I just want to be able to use the door I purchased. But I'm not going to unintentionally put my neighbors property at risk. It would be nice to get this resolved. I'm contacting ********** next to let them know the companies they are doing business with aren't doing the right thing.Chamberlain Group, Inc.

I just installed a couple of Liftmaster 8500W. I tried to get some help from tech support, but their reps ** spoke to 2 different ones) have basically ZERO knowledge on their own products. One of them put me on a hold to go back and forth for every single question I had. He comes back with wrong info, so I had to correct him twice. In the end I had resolve my own problem on my own. But the real deal breaker is the lack of 2FA on their account security and their attitude regarding the issue. I just spent over $1,500 on 2 openers to go MyQ, but then, I find out they don't even have any 2FA security measure. Their supervisor's attitude is "so what? We don't have it! So, deal with it." (paraphrased). The rep who initially answered did not even know what "2FA" was. @FA has been out there for more than a decade and is now a essential security measure for all websites that deal with customer info. **********************'s own blog even have an article that says. "Try 2FA in order to secure your house." What a clich that they don't even have what they recommend for their customer. Both representatives and the supervisor I dealt with was VERY rude and rendered ZSERO help to even acknowledge the problem, let alone to solve it. I really would like to hear back from someone who is responsible for customer relations of this company.Chamberlain Group, Inc.

I have a garage door opener which is still under warranty. I filed a claim almost two months ago and they have not sent the part and keep giving me the run around. Each time I call I get a scripted reply. I requested that they replace the unit if the part is not available and they stated that is not possible but my until is trash without the mother board. Chamberlain is not owning up to their warranty on the parts and products.Chamberlain Group, Inc.

We are sorry to hear that you have been impacted by our backorders, the logic boards are being manufactured as we get the parts needed. I was able to investigate the orders and noticed the board would be shipped out on October 5th, pending no issues. We understand that we processed the board as a warranty replacement even though the issue was not a defect but rather something caused by severe weather in the area. As much as we would like to send out replacement openers, we cannot do so. We will however be sending an email when the tracking number is assigned to your order, once it is shipped you will be able to track the order. Once again we apologize that the board has been on back order and hope that the replacement board resolves the issue of your opener not operating correctly.Review fromBruce B

This product arrived DOA. After spending an hour installing it and several hours with Chamberlain support (We got "disconnected" three times), it was diagnosed as a defective logic board. They are out of stock, and Chamberlain doesn't know when they could send me one. After call number 4 - the call center rep diagnosed the issue as a bad travel module. They are supposed to send me a new one and replacement sensors for those they had cut me during their troubleshooting. Update 8/3 - I called Liftmaster as the part that was promised to be here by today didn't arrive. The amazing part of the discussion was that Liftmasters position was that I should have hired a local tech to come out and fix the opener - A brand new opener that was Dead On Arrival out of the box! Unbelievable! They are selling defective products and expect you to pay to have them fixed?8/7/2022 Update Well, the ** Travel Model showed up as promised on Friday, but I found out they didnt and wont send replacements for the sensors they had me cut off at 6 inches for their troubleshooting (I questioned them extensively before I did it). I took the unit apart to replace the sensor only to find that the Motor was disconnected! On a New unit? Reconnected it, and the unit started working. Also had to do a factory reset to get the WiFi to work.Bottom line Lift Master is not the company it once was. Their product quality issues make them unfit for merchantability (not function for marketed use). Their support is rude and obnoxious (Chamberlain pull the recordings). They dont stand behind them, and to save money, they make you act as their technician. It felt like a bought a kit and had to build the opener myself.Chamberlain Group, Inc.
