  Athletico Physical Therapy in ***********, ** was overall the worst experience I've ever had. Mainly it was due to the staff, not the massage therapist, at first. The therapist was recommended by my doctor and local wellness center. From Day 1 when I first called to set up an appointment, the person was extremely rude, but I needed the therapies, so I went. After paying for my first 14 sessions, I was told my insurance would now cover my visits, so for the next 4 appointments I didn't owe any money, or so I thought. Well, 6 months later I'm being billed for the last 4 sessions at a cost of $500 and they wanted payment immediately. The therapist I had moved away. I'm not surprised. I will not recommend this facility to anyone. Horrible service with no professional etiquette whatsoever!

  I would go in for my therapy and asked what my copay was and i paid $30.00 at each visit ,no problem. when i finish my therapy i received a bill for $550.00 that i owed. So i called the office and they said i would need to call there billing and insurance number so the gave me that number, so i called and set up payments of $25.00 dollars a month because i had been out of work and that is all i could afford at the time. The person i spoke with said that would be fine so i have made my payments every month no problems. so May comes around and i call to make my payment cause they did no accept payments at the office. i was informed that my account was turned over to collections without any notice what so ever .No email to inform me that this was going to happen but they did not waste anytime sending me a bill through e-mail .I will never use them again. I have kept every bill and dates of every payment i made. And the therapy service I received. One tech to 3 patients could have been better. I paid for a hour and got 45 minutes.

  It was great at first. Very caring staff. Then I asked about my insurance billing with the therapist that was working on my my elbows. I was assured that I have like 60 visits that are all covered by insurance. Ill add this was about 10 visits after the recommended six weeks from my doctor. But the therapist keep insisting that I kept coming. A few weeks later when I finally got a bill I understand why. I was being charged $369 per session which resulted in a $70 co-pay per visit. Being completely unaware of this after talking to my physical therapist, you can understand my shock and seeing an $800 bill. Needless to say, Ill never go back there again after being lied to. I truly believe its nothing more than a racket to try to make money. While the therapist do care and try to do a good job, the bottom line is this place is about generating revenue. And I feel they do that by abusing lying to their clients.

  I have been trying to get a callback from their billing department for the past 3 days; no luck!!! I have an outstanding balance which is incorrect and unable to get anyone on the phone to get it corrected.

  *********************** location is disorganized, unprofessional, and lacks integrity. It seems to take advantage of people's vulnerabilities. How can anyone justify charging $560 per session for a service that mainly consists of lying down on a bed with a hot towel around your neck? Additionally, upon careful review of the billing details, I noticed that the number of physical activities charged has been doubled. Be careful before walking in to this place!

  The location ************************* is worst, PT ***** takes simultaneously 2 clients at my one hour session, only 20 mins works with me and leaves to other client telling the other guy (clearly looks like unlicensed, he doesn't know nothing until they tell him what exercise to do to tell to clients) to take over for rest of the clients session. I was there about 4 times, tried the youngest Asian dude the laziest PT, he was pretending to do manual hands on rubbing only 2 mins and even 2 fingers on my back one hand in his pocket and argumentative, Unprofessional, most times they chit chat endless trash talking, its not healing or relaxing exercise doing atmosphere, If you little late they won't take you as they scheduled another client on your 1 hr time simultaneously as usual.

  This location is great because of the staff, ****** for the office, the *** *********************, and *** **************************** are credited for the sincere care they provide. This care helped me get back to normal life which I am grateful.

  Athletico has deceptive billing practices of which I will go to court before I pay their over charging for the services they supposedly provide.

  Athletico Billing is a nightmare this place is way over priced for the service you get. They were not upfront about the higher costs like they should have been. I asked if the insurance will cover I will have the service they told me not to worry, next appointment I ask again same answer. I did not benefit from anything I received and now I owe more than $1000 for less than month of service. Shame on businesses like this that are supposed to help people to get out of pain.

  I don't blame Athletico Therapist I worked with. Now that's out the way my story I was in a knee injury from work I received regular therapy an aggressive therapy both was causing me pain. Nevertheless I pushed forward now its time for work conditioning my pain is still there an my use of my knee was just impossible. Time For the *** exam I honestly did everything to my best ability at the end the examiner said to me that if the doctor doesn't come up with something that my knee would get worse. That being said Why when I got the report from my *** she basically said I was making my pain up an lying. That I could do more but just wasn't an was ready to put me back to full time work duties. So a week after that I had my second opinion doctor *********** come to find out I have to have surgery because I'm one step away from needing a knee replacement an He said I'm not ok an that I'm not ready to go back to work. ATHLETICO IS NOT HONEST AN THEIR EXAMINERS WILL MAKE FALSE STATEMENTS TO BENEFIT THE INSURANCE COMPANY. O I Do blame the doctor most but Athletico let me down an humiliated me.
