February 4, 2023 I went into the facility to look at cars with my fianc he wanted to get an Audi. I recently just got in a car accident waiting to hear back from my insurance company about a settlement or the repair of my vehicle when my fianc sat at the table to see what he needed to get the Audi they told him he needs a co signer. They asked to review my credit to see if Im eligible to be a co-signer not to run my credit just to see all of his options they asked us to step out the office because they had another customer. We left the lot after not being service I got home to multiple inquiry alerts I didnt authorize and havent heard from this company since I stepped out the office. I tried calling multiple times and have yet to receive a call back and its been almost two months.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:I specifically asked about inquiry and was told that the person behind the desk wanted to view my credit to see if I was even eligible to be a co-signer. I have a multiple witnesses ***************************** who was sitting in the office trying to get a car and the person I was on the phone with. If what you are saying is true what was the result then? If I was there physically shopping for a car what was the result? Because I havent received a call or text or email which I am willing send over all emails in my email account and phone records.

I am rejecting this response because: it is not obvious when I verbally asked for clarification about what was going on and I was taken advantage of. You all did a misrepresentation of what you were doing with my information. So now I am feeling that you all obviously wanted to steal my ssn number and identification for some other agenda. Especially since I never heard from anyone there after I called multiple times regarding the issues when I was alerted from the fraud department.

July 2022 I purchased a car from this establishment, the man let me test drive the car and pulled me in his office to talk over finances not once did he go over the car fax to me or any open recalls on my *** sportage 2013 I purchased from them. the man waited until after i handed him the money for him to throw a piece of paper on the table and said here is the car fax advised me there was one accident on the car handed me damaged car keys and sent me on my way. 6 months later my car catches on fire while I'm driving on the highway with my 9 month old daughter in the car. i called this dealership before getting *** involved he recommended i go to *** and figure it out he also mention "well You purchased a used car not sure what you expected." the only thing i expected was to have this car last me 6 year not months. then after *** denied to fix the recall i called a man named *** where he advised me to get a lawyer and cussed me out no i have no car and im in debt close to $16,000 no thanks to these scam artist who sold me a lemon.Business Response

Customer was given an opportunity to inspect and test drive vehicle and was also offered an extended warranty which the customer did purchase . If *** denied to repair a claim on recall we have no say what *** does and if the vehicle caught on fire that should be something to handle with her insurance company that she can follow thru with her insurance company.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: this company sold me a lemon when I was there purchased see the car I asked them to change the oil and they clearly did not change the oil because if they would have then the engine wouldve failed immediately they did knock over the Carfax with me they let me go on the test drive by myself no one came with me and there was no pressuring me to buy the car but it was quick didnt go over anything with me I had my mother-in-law there with me and at the end just throws me a Carfax and then mentions after I give all my money that theres been an accident never not once mentioned that theres a recall on this car that was their job as a company before selling me the car was to make me aware of everything that was wrong with the car before I handed them the money thats called lemon law school

I am rejecting this response because: there was pressure to get the extended warranty because this company knew they were selling me a lemon they waited until after I paid to tell me of the cars car fax I bought the car 8 months ago drove it for 6 months before my engine caught on fire on the highway for reasons Im still unsure of. The computer on the car was cleared it didnt even let me know when my oil was low I still owe 15000$ on this car!!! And its not going to last me and you know very well you sold me a horrific car

I bought a car on the 29th of Nov, 2022, at about 5pm from the dealer, i only Paid $500 down payment and on my way to my school I realized the car was dragging and not exactly what I wanted so I told my husband about it and we agreed to return it, I returned the car at about 10am on 30th Nov, 2022 which was less than 24hrs, I spoke to **** about it and after awhile he collected the car keys and asked me to call him the following day which I did,We had barely started talking when he asked me to hold on and the call was onhold for sometime till the phone cut, I called back severally but he wouldn't pick up the call, so I just forgot about it.About a month or more later the debt collectors started calling me and sending me mails that I am owing them for the car, I called them to let them know I returned the car less than 24hrs of purchase, I don't have the car, they said they were going to verify and they later call me saying the dealership said I never returned the vehicle, I was so devastated that I told them that can't be happening, I have video and pictures Evidence that I returned the car the said date, so I and my cousin went to back there to request for a release document that I returned the car and then the manager said I never returned the vehicle and I told him I gave the keys to **** and he said **** no longer works with them, I told him but he was working here when I returned the car, he asked us to leave his office and on our way out we saw **** walked Into the office and then I started to say but you said this guy doesn't work here anymore, I don't understand what games they are trying to play with me. I'm so devastated with this whole issue.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: they lied outright I returned the vehicle in less than 24hrs which is still within the time limit, the vehicle is not ok, they sold me a dragging vehicle, I took the vehicle around 5:30 pm on the 29th of November and on way to my school it was dragging I became uncomfortable with the vehicle so at 10am in the morning on the 30th of November I returned the vehicle to them, it was less than 24hrs, and Mr **** asked me to call him the following day which I did.They are liars and so fraudulent.

I am rejecting this response because: He is lying, I brought the vehicle back the following day in the morning, it was less than 24hrs, the vehicle was dragging and not what I really wanted, I gave the keys to ****, he asked me to call him the following day which I did, I never had the vehicle for 24hrs, and it is not driving well that is why I returned it. These Guarantee Motors guys are very fraudulent, I can't imagine them lying like this after returning the vehicle in less than 24hrs they kept lying. The vehicle has been with them since the 30th of Nov, 2022 at around 10am in the morning up till date.

I bought a work vehicle. We were told there was NO issue with the vehicle. After having the car for less than a month, they towed it to their shop to fix a bad transmission. They admitted to selling us a bad vehicle. After 7 weeks, I had to call a police officer and a tow truck to ************* from the facility after they cussed my **************** out over the phone because they lied about ever fixing my car. After paying money out of pocket to tow my car to an auto shop, they are finding more and more issues with the vehicle. The auto shop said it should have NEVER been driven it was unsafe. They watched my 7 year old daughter check this vehicle out with us. They knew what they were selling us. They not only lied about fixing my car, but they sold us a vehicle with a bad transmission, that had no transmission oil the control arms are absolutely shot.. those are what control the car, they need replaced, motor mounts were metal to metal. We could have died in this car, because they wanted to sell it.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:The company towed the vehicle form my property admitting fault in the transmission. They said they were going to fix my vehicle with parts and they did not fix my vehicle. I had to get police involved to remove my vehicle because they would not return calls about my vehicle getting fixed and kept giving me the run around on they did fix it and then they didnt because the parts were not correct. The warranty is also signed with a signature that is NOT mine. My signature is even submitted with the **************** because I am a notary, I would be more than happy to submit my signature. The warranty company even states they will not cover it due to PREEXISTING CONDITIONS. I do not agree with their statement for it is incorrect. these are all false aqusitions about us she was informed she is receving a 2 year warranty at our cost and that was a part of her negotiation at the time she purchased the vehicle. she didnt not want to purchase the vehicle unless she had a warranty with the vehicle. We sell all our behcile in as-is conditon with no warranties. She came and inspected the vehicle multiple times before purchase and test drove the vehicle multiple times. At the time she was purchsasing the vehcile she insisted on an a warranty thats the only way she will purchase the vehicle. So we gave it to her at our cost and no cost to her.Customer Answer

I am again, willing to submit all documentation with my claims. The vehicle was towed off my property after the business claimed FAULT for the transmission failure. We were forced to remove the vehicle from the business, and seek to get our vehicle to be fixed elsewhere. On the test drive we asked about to knock and they said the vehicle was perfectly fine and they did all repairs there. They sold a vehicle under fraudulent claims.

Never did I remove the vehicle from their lot to take it to a shop to look at. These are false statements from the business to cover their shady, unethical practices. Again, I would be more than willing to submit any documentation per BBB request. I am requesting a refund, and my stance does not change. Please let me know if you have any questions or would like anything emailed over. I will not be continuing to go back and forth with a business who will continue to lie to cover their own personal self during a time of clear fault.
