    Received a call back in regards to my posted used auto part search for a 2004 Mercury Sable front bumper cover. *** ****** @ Performance assured me that part was available and provided photo of item. Reviewed photo and decided to start purchase. During purchase transaction, received another photo of different car asking for ************* before only item of objection was color and item lacked a requested passenger side fog light. Could live with color but fog light was necessary.Placed order on September 3, 2024, using **** for negotiated price of $650.00. Was advised item would take up to 2 weeks before shipping. Also advised I would receive tracking number when shipped. Never received a tracking number but received an email from *** ****** advising that item was damaged by shipper and a replacement would need to be sent.Strange thing is never received a tracking number so how could item be damaged by shipping.*** advised as before I will receive a tracking number when item ships. To date, no acceptance photos or tracking number have been received.

    On June 20, 2024, I sent $1,450.00 through ***** **** to Performance Auto Salvage for the purchase of six (6) auto parts for my 2005 ***** LS430. They sent me pictures of the parts and they looked acceptable. ******************* told me they would ship in 8-10 business day. I spoke with *********************, Warehouse manager, ***** and *****. No one would tell me when my parts were going to be shipped. On Thursday, July 19, ********************* agreed to refund my $1,450.00 within 5-6 business days. We both bank with ***** and the money could have been Zelled within minutes. I have called, e-mailed and texted multiple times per day to no avail. I need my refund so I can purchase the parts elsewhere. This is theft and I am also reporting it to the police and my attorney!

    Initially, I contacted Perform Auto Salvage for an Engine Wiring Harness. After discussing with *********************** and reconfirming with my mechanic, it was determined that I needed the left and right body wiring harness part numbers ******** and ********. I was told that they had the part. They cashed my $425.00 check on February 13, 2024 and to this date have not shipped me the body wiring harness. Instead, they shipped me an Engine Wiring Harness. I've been working with ***** in their customer service and was verbally told that the body wiring part which they pulled was damaged. Additionally, they do not have another body wiring harness. In early May, ***** verbally told me that the manager approved me getting a refund. On May 17, I sent ***** an email indicating that she responded that she would investigate and give me an update. She did not give me an update until I called again on May 21 and she said that the check was shipped. 4 weeks later and I have not received the check. I've called and I've sent emails. No one at the company answers the phone and ***** is not responding to my emails.

    I ordered 4 each auto body parts from Performance Auto Salvage on Feb. 16, 2024, and mailed out my personal payment check of $ ******** to pay for my purchase agreement with Performance. As of this Date, no parts have been delivered, and I have waited long enough, and want my full refund of $ ******** from Performance. Even though they tell me my refund check is in the mail, I have not received my refund. I call daily and only able to leave a message. Their **************** does not call back and ********************* does not call back.

    Better Business Bureau:

    Yes, I desire a full refund.  But, I have already been delayed 5 months in securing my ordered vehicle parts or a full refund. 

    When can I expect my full refund.  In my opinion, this refund is due immediately.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

    I am rejecting this response because: 
    As attached, Performance Auto Salvage stated that they would provide a full refund, but that refund has not been received.  I call Performance Auto Salvatge 3 to 8 times a week for the past 8 weeks to get my refund check mailed out to me, and they promise me that it is being processed, but the process never is completed and mailed out to me. 

    I have spoken with ****** ****** and ***** *****, and nothing has been done.  Just told the process is being processed. 

    What else can I do to get my money back from Performance Auto Salvage.???

    The vendor, Performance Auto Salvage, claimed to have the auto part I was trying to find. The required an ACH bank transfer of $165.00. They were to ship the product after receiving payment. They were paid on Tuesday, June 4th, 2024. I sent an email questioning their failure to provide a tracking memo and received a reply they they were checking into the problem and would get back to me. They haven't. I believe this is a fraudulent business working scams on the public.

    paid to buy a tailgate fore 2018 GMC *******. paid for it on 5-20-2024. get run around for item. called 10 times to resolve issue and not got a respones. I payed ****** dollars and ****** dollars and got nothing. It has been 2 weeks and have not nothing. I need to get my tail gate or my money, I am tired of getting the run around.THANKS

    On April 27, 2024 I purchased an interior drivers side door cable for my 2002 ******* Elantra at a cost of $162.00. I was told that I would receive a shipping notice which I have not received to date. I have made numerous attempts to reach the seller and have made contact more than once only to be told that they would call me back with the shipping information. I have not received any callbacks and have neither received the shipping notice nor the part. I would like them to refund my purchase.

    I tried to buy a console for my ****** NV 1500, at a price of $220. They wouldn't accept credit card, so I sent a check. After a week, they stated the check didn't arrive. They talked me into wiring the money which cost $30 to send $220. The wire worked. A couple weeks went by, and nothing was shipped, but my check was cashed. I am out $470 and no console. I should have realized they were not a legitimate business the moment they wouldn't accept a credit or debit card.

    Multiple email correspondence with company prior to purchase to verify the correct item was on hand. This included pictures sent from me on exact A/C hose I needed for ****** Avalon. Once I purchased the item and an Invoice was provided, the company kept stating item was being processed, but I never received anything with a Tracking Number stating part was being shipped.These emails drug out past the 20 day resolution process available on Venmo, so they will Not assist with recouping money.
