      I can't get anyone one the phone from this bank. it's either direct to voicemail or I get routed to their terrible AI chatbot Luna which puts me on hold for 15-20 mins and then routes me to another voicemail box. Their app is just as unhelpful.

      Recently I was having trouble linking an external account and decided to call for assistance, after a short wait I was greeted by Jeanet with the member engagement team out of the Nevada branch who was able to walk me through the process . Her patients with me helped on my end along with her pleasant voice and knowledge of my issue . She assured me it could take sometime and to watch for the outcome . Before ending our conversation she informed me of a different account available to me with a higher rate where I could park my money. I was certainly pleased with the help that I received from Jeanet !

      They put a file against my credit showing i didnt pay my bill. they never sent me a bill. I have a paid off home and its a $75 fee to keep the heloc open. Shady and inconsiderate. It takes 15 min or more to get a rep on the phone terrible

      I joined Credit union One after a merger. It’s horrible. I was with E********* credit union for 33 years. This is the most incompetent banking system I’ve ever I will be leaving, but I think that the public needs to make an informed decision. Do not go to Credit Union One they are horrible. There’s othercredit unions that I’m certain would do a lot better job. I will be seeking out a new credit union because I cannot continue to go through This is ****

      I have been banking with CU1 for over 25 years and have recently had the worst experience with trying to get money reversed from an online clothing store that charged me for the same order twice. I placed an order online with F****** **** on 12.31.24 and the site gave an error as if the order was not place which led to it being placed twice. I notified the merchant of the error and that I was charged twice the the amounts were different. That clearly indicates a problem. Well they sent 2 of the exact same order. One order went to my previous address and one order actually was delivered to me. Someone else of course received the package that went to the previous address. Since then I have not received my money back after reviewing my concern with F****** **** Chat, they won't talk to you over the phone, P***** which whom my payment went thru nor my bank, CU1 whom again I've been banking with for over 25 yrs. All parties have been incompetent in realizing and understanding I only received 1 package and rightly am owed money back. All documentation provided clearly show I didn't receive the package.

      On 03/11/2025 I was serviced by Relationship Banker L***** at Evergreen Park branch, and she displayed excellent service. Even though I was only setting up some banking accounts, she was very thorough with the pros and cons of opening up the different checking and savings, very attentive to my questions and most importantly kind throughout the whole process.!!!!

      This credit union has unethical business practices. I am a long term credit card customer and previous auto loan customer. I was asked to open a checking account with $5 to establish the account to get the ********************** card. I used the credit card to pay down some other accounts. The card has received monthly payments on time every month for years while I was paying down my balance. Now that the balance was lower I wanted to use the card but realized the card I had expired. When I called, I found they had mailed the renewed card to an address I no longer lived at. When I tried to provide the current address I was told they will not be reissuing the card because the account was dormant. Even a credit reporting service would not consider it dormant when it is receiving payments every month. In addition, to call the checking account dormant when the only expectation for that account was the $5 initial deposit, doesn't make sense. It is a shame a credit union wouldn't want to make money. I believe this is not based on a dormant account but on past personal relationships. Now that I live back in the state the credit union is in, originally I was considering moving all of my banking over but now, I would avoid doing business with a company that doesn't make sound business decisions.

      If I could give zero stars I would. Most incompetent Bank I have ever dealt with. Called them to get a verification of asset filled out needed for a senior housing application for my Mom who has Alzheimer's disease. Easy form asking about my mom's checking & savings account totals. Talked to several people, multiple times on hold. Finally had the form completed on 10/11/24. I found out I needed a bank stamp to indicate it was filled out at Credit union 1 so I reached out immediately the same day. My nightmare began. Literally talked to at least 5 people, multiple messages on the online banking portal. Finally got a message on 10/16/24 stating they had no sort of Bank stamp. I called them at 9:22 am, spoke with someone for 27 mins in the middle of trying to work and gave them an option of letterhead or cover letter and was told they didn't have those either. I asked to speak to a supervisor but never got a call back. I called back at 12:53 pm during the few mins I had for lunch and sent 45 mins total talking. The person had no idea about what transpired before and after 39 mins she finally got a supervisor on the line. I had to start explanation from scratch. I was told they would send me a cover letter and call me to let me know it was being sent. I got a call at 5:18pm from the supervisor Karen that they were sending a cover letter securely via the online messaging portal. I finally got the form back at 619pm with a stamp at the end indicating they had a stamp. They literally attached a cover letter that had my Mom''s whole account number. How is this secure?? Why would I give someone a form that has all my account details, the full account number. All I needed a completed form with credit union 1 stamp/logo at the end. I am immediately closing this account once the housing goes through. Never again. if you are thinking of banking with them, spare yourself the misery.
