      CU1 has basically froze all of there customers account over the Holiday basically those who are depending on there checks to deposit by the 31st have to wait until Sep 3rd to receive our funds.So if you’re in need of your funds the Bank has said No.

      Thank you for sharing your feedback with CU1 regarding your direct deposit. Credit Union 1 does offer CU1 Early Pay to members. The timing of how early you receive your payment is dependent on when the payor provides that information to Credit Union 1. We cannot guarantee the timing, but you are always able to monitor when deposits are posted to your account through Credit Union 1’s Digital Banking. You can also set up account alerts in Digital Banking, so you are notified as soon as your deposit hits.
      With the Federal Reserve being closed on Monday, September 2, 2024, for Labor Day, direct deposits with a settlement date of September 3, 2024 were unable to be processed via CU1 Early Pay.

      I have talked to several people at CU 1, and none of them made any sense about the conversion ...as they all gave me different answers to my questions EXCEPT kELLY DOCET!! She's the only one that explained to me in detail what to do on Sept. 3rd concerning the conversion. She has been a god-send to this old T******** ********* ***. retired lady!!! Thanks Kelly for ALL your help in answering ALL my questions.....I will forever be so grateful to you!!!!

      CU1 bought out out small town credit Union and it has been nothing but a nightmare. From them closing the only branch near our home to making it impossible for us to make our payments. Our son has a credit card through our credit Union and now they are closing it due to the merger. They would allow him to apply for another one with them but they will also be running his credit again at 19. We call to verify our accounts and they literally ask 10 different questions it’s just insane the customer service sucks and our banking experience has just been horrible.

      I am unhappy with this bank. They have been dragging their feet for at least 3- or 4-weeks transferring money to another bank. I do not trust them.

      Extending my gratitude to Cindy E****, Sr. Legal Operations Specialist for her personal attention and guidance! I needed to make changes to my account/shares. Cindy was receptive, respectful and patiently responded to my questions during phone calls and via email. I did have one question/concern she could not help with regarding my request to remove a joint owner from savings but leave that person as joint owner on checking. As I understood the rationale the account(s) are viewed as shared and unable to be identified as separate. Together, Cindy and I did accomplish the main mission!!

      I contacted customer service, and the initial representative informed me she would check with another department, placing me on hold despite knowing that department was closed. After an extended wait, I called again and was informed by a second representative that the first one had left a note in my account. It’s frustrating that the initial representative didn’t return to our call, and had I not called a second time, I might have been on hold even longer

      Rhea Lynch was the absolute best to work with! She was so very patient and kind as I was frazzled before the holiday. She truly went above and beyond to help me through the auto loan process, making sure that I understood the terms and had everything I needed. I could not thank her enough. I highly recommend working with Rhea and Credit Union 1!

      I am very dissatisfied with this credit union, they don't stand by their word and their customer service reps don't know how to speak to the customers on a professional level. I am not going into details, but when does putting the customer first becomes a priority? I honestly don't believe that when people work hard for their money and entrust institution like these to lookout for them, the service should be investigated thoroughly before reversing charges to the customer and not the merchant. It should never be that we feel like...I am through with credit union 1!!!

      “I am very thankful for Shaneice C*******, she was very professional, responsive and honest assistance with the whole loan process from beginning to end. she made herself available to me via any method of my choice - email, business phone or cell phone, which I appreciated and took advantage of it. The service and personal attention I received from Shaneice was exceptional and beyond what I was expecting! Her knowledge of the local and national market and her commitment in finding me the best rate and term helped me in my search of my new vehicle.
