To ***** **** managers , this young lady assisted me this morning concerning my older brothers new joint account with me. Not only did she go step by step to help me change UN / PW but was able to answer all of my old man questions . This was easier then getting help from my daughter. This young lady is a very good assets to your organization. All Customer Service reps could learn a few things from her.

First time home buying is a terrifying notion. Growing up in neighborhoods where you once played catch and enjoyed “paletas” from ice cream vendors with push carts that knew you since you where born, and seeing those same people replaced with skyscrapers and electric vehicles is daunting and makes you feel small. It makes you feel unable to even dream of living in the communities you hold close to your heart. But all of those notions can be wiped away when you are able to find people with the know how, and the understanding of the spirit and importance of a home. I found that in credit union 1 and in my agent Zachary. He helped me navigate the home buying process and ensured that every detail was perfect to ensure a smooth closing. Without him I would not have been able to ensure that my family would remain rooted in the city that love. I am thankful for his diligence and heart. And I highly recommend anyone who wants to secure their home, to work with Zachary ***.Credit Union 1

I have been banking with credit union 1 for close to 2 years now. I wanted to steer away from big corporate banks that dont care about the customers(been banking with BOA for 13 years). We are getting married and unforeseen expenses came up with our venue, due to owners selling and new management wants to re evaluate our agreement due to inflation. I was drawn to the ******* ** location due to good reviews online. I pulled my extensive credit report prior to walking in a talking with the branch manager in *******. I was extremely transparent with my credit score, credit history, assets, collateral, And requested loan amount prior to starting application to determine if I would be eligible before a hard inquiry was done. Branch manager gave me confidence that with information provided we would be in good shape for Approval and steered me towards a Heloc loan VS personal cause of lower interest rates. The turn around time to get a response was extremely disappointing. Roughly 3 days to 2 weeks to hear something back despite phone calls: voicemails and emails. Fast forward(FF) we are decline due to credit score and credit usages. Why we are not focus on paying them down is because we are getting married and need our cash to expense it (Mind you, we have over $5000 in savings at the bank and cash at home for our wedding) after denial, I once again expressed our interest in establishing a solid relationship with the bank by doing further business and asked if there’s anything else that can be done with the collateral that we have (3 cars, older, but all paid off and 2 of the cars value exceed our loan request- loan request was $10k & car values $12-14000) After discussing information about collateral, we seemed to be on track to get the loan, FF, with minimal follow up on banks behalf, loan denied due to “vehicle to old- needs to be 2014 or newer.” Not sure how the branch manager did not know prior to submitting application. FF- another institution approved loan $11200.Credit Union 1
