      The Feldco website offers free estimates and invites you to select an appointment time. I entered all the information including address, phone, product I was interested in and the date/time I wished to reserve. The button you must click even says confirm your appointment. They call you serval times after it. I picked it up one of the many times and answered the same questions I answered on the form. When the time came, no one showed up. They wasted my time. When I spoke to them they said they didnt have a profile for me. How can that be after entering all the info? They refuse to set up another appointment. They are not a business of equal accommodation.

      The information entered online did not transfer to our internal appointment system as intended. It seems there was a glitch in the system. This is why we have called multiple times to correct it. The information was not confirmed with him prior to the appointment time he was hoping for. We have called since then to try to rectify the situation and get him back on the schedule but have been unable to do so. Our Customer Experience Manager has reached out directly multiple times over the past 2 weeks but has not had his call returned. We would love to opportunity to give ************ an estimate if he is still interested and apologize for the issues he experienced scheduling his appointment, they are not the norm.

      I had windows put in by feldco. The vinyl siding has a slit in it. The slit is so large I can stick my fingers in it. **** the Rep for feldco lied to me first of all.**** told me I would be able to get my air conditioner back in the window. The window unit doesn't fit Now. **** told me he would also have dark Tinted windows That didn't happen. I called feldco they came out and said we only go up to 10 feet on the vinyl. Feldco said I had 12 feet and that's the reason for the split. I would like to at least go the split fixed. The split is so large it looks unprofessional. I paid **** good money for service I didn't get done Right. I will go as far a court If we cant come to a solution. I told feldco If I can get somebody to come out and fix the problem can you refund me some of the money I paid. Feldco told me me NO they wouldn't refund me the money.

      So this started all in November 2023 we contacted them regarding a replacement window estimate and we were given a price for a broken picture window, so we decided that we would go with Feldco because it's a reputable place only to be VERY disappointed. So we had our picture window replaced the 1st window replacement happened on January 11, 2024 which unfortunately that window had bowed sticks and wasn't what we ordered at all, this company also was sent a picture of what our previous window looked like we were told that this window had to have this window specially made for us, so they had to remove this window as it was incorrect so we had to wait again for another 5-6 weeks until the new window came in with the correct sticks in it, but unfortunately this window that was installed on February 28, 2024 was incorrect also it had a textured film on it for a big picture window, for like a bathroom window so nobody looks in well this clearly isn't what we wanted or even asked for. I want to be able to look outside my picture window that's what those are for but now on April 15, 2024 they are suppose to install hopefully the 3rd window and I am hoping this is the correct window and nothing is wrong with it, and of course this window was paid in full in November 2023 and it's now 5 months later and I am still dealing with my picture window not being correct, I want to be compensated in full for this if I cant' be compensated the full amount I paid then I want at least 1/2 of my money back, I feel that I deserve this as this is clearly the 3rd time in 5 months they are coming out to install a picture window that they were given pictures of what it looked like prior to them ordering the window. They have no quality control as to what is being done and that is so UNPROFESSIONAL in every way. If I have to upload supporting picture to my claim then I will do that.

      I I purchased the window from feldco and pay in full for the window however, when time came for them to deliver they kept giving me setbacks such as the window is not on the truck or they have to wait for the manufacturer to send the window etc.. I never end up receiving the window at all. I made the purchase back in September 2023 and its April 2024 still no window, and they refuse to return my money.

      Many mistakes several things installed wrong or broken.... shouldn't have that much broken glass in or around my home after leaving. This is suposed to be "the best" company. Clearly that is not true

      When I originally contacted for a replacement front exterior door I requested that our newer storm door was to be reinstalled. Verbal agreement was given by the sales representative but I requested that it say so in the contract. It was written in but when I received the contract I didnt notice that it was not there. This omission caused a problem when the installer attempted the reinstall because the storm door was too small for the new opening. I had to purchase a new door for safety, cost an additional $1000 dollars. The sales rep kept requesting that I sign a new contract so that a refund could be issued for the cost of reinstalling the storm door. I did not. All doors are in but I have requested and not received an itemized receipt for the cost of 2 (two) doors and each part which includes sidelights, lock set, etc. This total sale was almost $11,000. Generating a receipt should not be a problem. Five months later and promises ** still waiting. Dealing with this company and their reps is a problem but my records need to be complete.

      I had 12 windows replaced. Four of the double hung windows have a buildup of ice on the inside of the frame, When the upper window is pulled down to see why moister is dripping down the outside of the widow, the inside frame is full of ice. Reported this immediately December 2023after installation, they sent out people to check, gave me extended warranty to check winter of 2023, as of today no resolve~! I demanded replacement and nothing as of today. I had a slide by actually whistling in high winds, this they will change ti a double hung. What are my options in this matter to resolve the four double hung windows? I have many pictures of the ice and moisture, as well as they were here may times and saw it as well. These are in bedrooms, their reason to me was I had high humidity, The high humidity rooms as the bathroom, washer and dryer room and kitchen have no issue with ice buildup. It has to be around 20 degrees or lower for this to happen. I keep getting excuses that it is all out fault. Plants in the house, c-pap machine running, furnace air deflector in use and high humidity, bad door seal in another room. Problem is its these four windows are the only ones doing this.       I am rejecting this response because: They have only settled on replacing the large slide side by side window with double hung windows. This window was leaking cold air in and would actually make a whistling noise in a higher wind. See attachment.

      The other four double hung windows that leak at the top enough for it to create moisture in the inside of the window frames. In lower temps, this turns to ice to a point that I could not even open the window to check! I continue to send pictures of this, see attachments below. as well as have them come out to inspect. They have seen the ice and moisture but yet, tell me it is my fault for having 30% humidity in the house, I tell them so why it is only on these four windows and not the other sever they installed. Plus, there is no moisture on the inside of the windows or no moisture in the restroom, kitchen or laundry room, areas of higher humidity when in use. I received an extended warranty through this winter and am afraid if they do not replace them now, they will never do it and I will be stuck with faulty windows and cost me more money again down the road. I have had a dehumidifier running constantly and aimed the furnace deflector towards the windows to try and pacify them, all in doing this and it doesn't change the result, I still get moisture and then ice in the window frames. I first notices this when I saw water running dripping down the outside of the window last winter. I opened the top of the window, and it was all ice, then the sun warmed up the window and was melting the ice with the water dripping down the outside of the top window..

      I am rejecting this response because:
      They have scheduled a time to come out again to view the four windows in question. This needed to be a day when the temperatures were cold enough to turn the moisture inside the window frames to ice. There are only a few days left to get this done. This Wednesday and Thursday look like about it for the near future! They have been here multiple time and have seen the moisture and ice inside the frames and the moisture running down on the OUTSIDE of the top windows. I have no issue on the inside of the windows or the seven other double hung windows they installed, of which three are in higher humidity at times areas. Kitchen, washroom and laundry room. I am worried there will be no warranty on these problem windows. and these not replaced.
      Sincerely, This upcoming visit will tell what will happen. noted to them to come at 9am due to my wife dealing with a serious medical issue.

      This is a 2 part problem regarding windows and doors we purchased from Feldco at the end of October in 2022. Part 1 is for an initial problem of ** not being made aware that there would be a substantial increase in window frame thickness for our front windows. This completely changed how our home looks from the front. I have left a lengthy review on their ***********, ** ****** page. After 2 months of us trying to come to a resolution with Feldco, we were sad that there was no option that would even come close to giving us the window aesthetic we truly wanted. Due to this I requested what I felt was a fair dollar reimbursement $6000 for us getting windows we didn't actually want. Instead I was gaslighted to believe that these are what all people get when they do window replacements. After all of this the general manager offered us a $500 rebate. I said no, and finally he forcefully offered a take it or leave it deal of $1000. After buying all windows on our ranch home, entry door, storm door, patio door and garage door, and spending almost $30,000 we were discounted $1000 for windows we did not know we were getting and ultimately did not want. I want to add that the $1000 "agreement" that was made was a reluctant one on my part due to the ultimatum I was given of "take it or leave it". Of course I took it knowing that this was the best a well known, seeming reputable window replacement company could offer. Part 2 is currently occurring - the big patio door in the back has begun to come apart at the frames of the windows. I have notified Feldco as of last week 01/18/23. They keep saying they are waiting for their manufacturer to get back to them. There is now a draft entering through the door and we are in the middle of winter. I don't know what kind of resolution the BBB can provide, but ultimately I would like a patio door replacement and monetary reimbursement for negligence regarding the Part 1 problem and this new Part 2 problem.

      I am rejecting this response because: I still have windows I didn't want and the "agreement" that was made to accommodate Feldco's negligence for not properly disclosing that my windows would loose 25% viewable glass space is not an adequate amount. I was notified that I signed something at the time the $1,000 discount to a garage door was made (which was the take it or leave it offer I was given) . I would like the copy of that document. Also, the patio door should be replaced not repaired. I have reached out to a independent contractor and they advised that the problem with the door is a manufacturer defect and should be replace and not "repaired" because it will most likely be glued back together and the problem will return since the integrity of the door is already compromised. I no longer trust Feldco to have my best interests in mind and I fear that their representative will already come with a bias to only repair the door and gaslight me into thinking that is the only option . I would like for a some kind of arbitration to begin between Feldco and myself and I would appreciate the BBBs help with that.

      In an email sent on 11/15/2022 in regards to reducing the customer's garage door contract price by $1,000 as compensation for the loss of glass: "Per our discussion, Feldco is reducing this contract due to the front windows are not what was expected due to loss of glass. You are accepting a $1000 discount and you will leave windows as is. No other discounts will be give for your projects. Please sign the attached document. We will void the check that was give at time of the garage door install and the balance of $287 you will be mailing a new check to our *********** office." The updated contract price was signed off on by ***************** on 11/16/2022 and a new check for the lower amount was received on 11/17/2022.

      Feldco is open to replacing the Patio Door if necessary, but needs to inspect it first and make its own determination during the 2/7/2024 appointment that is scheduled.

      I am rejecting this response because: The take it or leave offer of $1,000 discount was after a very tireless 2 months of back and forth negotiation with Feldco on the windows. I reluctantly took that offer because I was forced to by the take it or leave it verbiage that was conveyed. Regardless, I am unsatisfied with the discount and also the way that I have been treated by Feldco both, back in Oct and Nov of 2022 and now with the patio door. I again request that the BBB initiate a mediation and/or arbitration in this case. It is clear to me that communication between Feldco and myself will not be fruitful.

      On December 11th 2023, feldco installed my windows to my house. However, the windows were installed incorrectly, and two of the windows were not what i originally ordered. One window is crooked and drafts are coming through the windows. I spoke to a customer service representative from ********************** and he came out and took correct measurements, but i have to pay an additional $800 hundred for them to correct this issue! Absolutely ridiculous. *** called numerous time and no one has came back our to correct the issue. Please advise.

      On 9/25/23, I entered a contract number W23CS1611, with Feldco and paid $6,360. Upon completion I needed to pay $6361.00. On 12/5/33 the windows were installed except the white window jam. The contract has the interior window color as white / white. On 9/25/23, I asked **** to clarify if white / white meant the jam would be white and and he said yes ( not the cherry color he put on my window sill & told me that cherry is the closest to the current ********** ). **** telephoned me prior to today to say to me: dont you remember we only picked out the exterior bronze color. I could not believe he said that and informed him I would no longer speak to him and to have his boss contact me. On 12/16/23, ***** *************) took photographs of the damage done to the existing jam and he took photographs of the ******** Windows in try neighbors condominium. ***** also took measurements of my window jams and wrote down 3.5 white trim. Today 12/26/23, ***** from Feldco Finance ************** and ******************* ************** x **** (***** boss) telephone me to seek a resolution however ***** became argumentative insisting that an oak trim was what was discussed however on 9/25/23 when there was no discussion about a raw 3/4 round edge that would left on my windows. The job has therefore not conformed to the contract of white / white.Additional, on 9/25/23, **** presented data that ******** Windows would cost approximately $10, 000 more than Feldco. This was near the end of the 45 minute presentation given on 9/25/23 which did not take as much time to briefly review the contract I wouldnt be sending this complaint. Incidentally, my neighbor had 18 instead of 15 Windows replaced by ******** which included a white ********** for approximately the same price.Therefore the presentation falsely presented a price comparison for basically the same windows for a significantly lower cost. This is not a true statement, I need help to obtain a fair resolution.

      I am rejecting this response because:
      Hello *******,

      Thank you for your email and new contract in regards to the BBB complaint # ********.  As a result of the 12/5/23 window installation we discussed a resolution on 1/4/24 to;
      remove the raw shoe, 
      fill in the gouges made in the jamb, 
      fill crevices made by the trim
      sand & prime the jamb & casing
      paint in a white color similar to the vinyl on the inside windows in a satin finish. 

      To further describe our resolution.
      We also discussed that a professional painter will perform the above and:
      clean the interior window frame & window to remove residual product &
      finish the job by adding a square white molding where the shoe was removed.

      There will be no additional cost to me & I am responsible to pay the balance of $6,361 upon completion of the work.

      So, would you be so kind as to revise the contract to ensure that there will be no deceptive wording or misunderstanding between us.  Thank you.
      Id like to also thank you for your understanding in my reluctance to sign the contract you just sent me and for the educational assessment you provided regarding possible solutions in the resolution process.
